Thought I’d found my perfect car. The title on the ad read Auto, Low Mileage, Bluetooth Three of the majors on my wish list! The young salesman Jacob was very helpful and I drove away my 64 plate Vauxhall Astra on the 19/07/2021 a very happy lady but that was short lived. When I got home and tried to connect my phone to the Bluetooth I found out this particular model didn’t have it even though the steering wheel was set up for it so obviously the person who put the ad up hadn’t done their research properly. I phoned the next day to complain and Jacob wasn’t there someone else said they’d look into it and ring me back but of course they didn’t … this happened on 3/4 occasions Eventually they ordered a Bluetooth adapter which you had to use through Siri and was utterly useless and not hands free this was weeks later and I still hadn’t received the extra warranty /breakdown cover documents I purchased so had to chase them again eventually they got emailed across and omg what a rip off a list as long as your arm as to parts that are NOT covered so don’t be tempted to buy it when offered more money on your part exchange it’s just a scam. Eventually I got some compensation but have to say the whole experience has been a nightmare The quality of customer service from sales / complaints manager / to head office has been abysmal. Thank God after 58 days this saga is over!

We were badly treated and left waiting for 2 and a half hours if I hadn't complained we would still be there . We paid £ 9300 for the car only 3 week's ago so you wouldn't expect the car to have a , to quote the report worn out but still legal but you should allow for longer stopping distance , is this now to treat a customer Derek from Rushden

AVOID!!!!!!!! Would put 0 stars if I had the option! Total CON ARTISTS!!!! Purchased a Mercedes A class from Evans halshaw Gateshead. 11 faults in 11 months not what you expect on a £11,630 car! Only had the car 8 months of actually owning it as it has been in the garage for 3 months! Was told that the car was at Mercedes garage - YET ANOTHER LIE as we contacted Mercedes and asked where our car was to which they replied the car has never been to a Mercedes garage anywhere in the UK! We then contacted Evans Halshaw again for them to turn around and say well actually it’s in a garage in South Shields which is an approved garage, as they could not get my car booked into Mercedes! YET ANOTHER LIE! We rang Mercedes back and they said they could book my car in straight away and we could bring it straight in!!! Once I got my car back, I had not even driven off the forecourt and my engine management light was back on (the issue I took my car in for 2 weeks prior) NOT ONLY THAT... They Wangled the figures when we bought the car - told that this is usual practice so we could justify getting a decent trade in price - told this wouldn’t effect us! YET ANOTHER LIE now when trying to get a refund for this car we were told because of the “wangled figures” that they are offering us thousands of pounds less!! Absolute joke!!! Yes there has been lots of work done on the car, but we paid for a warranty to cover it! Considering I am 6 1/2 months pregnant and they give me my car back after air bags malfunctioning and being told that it had only had a sensor being done on it is an absolute joke! Then to be told from The manager, Matt Potts that we’ve “just been unlucky” is absolutely disgusting when asking if he would put his pregnant partner or daughter in that car! Total lack of respect and disgusting attitude!
Don't take a man with you or you will be ignored and advised to get parking sensors front and back. My husband even had to tell salesman at Evans Halshaw Fordstore in Bedford to talk to me as I was choosing and paying for car.

Evans Halshaw For Store in Bedford is the worst ever, i have a transit tipper with an ad-blue system that is faulty, 6 visits and now the truck has brocken down completely, there customer service is terrible, cant see the truck for 4 weeks, incompetent mechanics and senior management that tell lies, i have never been so mad, the place was bulldozing
