I've had my car from Evans halshaw for 14 months and during that time my car has lost coolant 3 times,each time for different reasons. Luckily for me I took out the 2 yrs extended warranty. The 1st time was due to needing a new heater matrix, the 2nd for a split in 2 of the hoses and now it would seem my head gasket has blown. The car is only a 12 plate. The last 2 times I've been provided with a loan car. Today I've been told there aren't any available. Sods law when it's half term next week and we have an important wedding to go to. I know the repairs stated haven't exactly been 2 day jobs and there's alot of work involved but surely this is quite drastic for a youngish car or am I just jinxed. Tried ringing the customer care team but the phone just rings continuously so gave up in the end.

Purchased my Mustang from Evans Halshaw Ford Grantham. Couldn’t recommend enough! Very knowledgeable, very professionally and nothing was a problem. Great team guys would 100% do business again.
Went to Evans Halshaw Ford Grantham thinking they had a lot more options for me compared to Stoneacre up the road however, as soon as I sat down I told the guy what my budget was. He took my details twice (took an hour) told me to write down the car reg's I liked and to come back. He valued my car however, he sat me in 4/5 cars I liked even though he still didn't say if they was within my budget or not. The one car I liked he told us we could go on a test drive and already got the reg and car ready before I had chance to think - I asked multiple times what they was valuing my car at and if these was in my budget which he kept saying we will talk about that when we get back. Took the car out for a test drive, I liked it and then was told it was out of my price range - gutted! but I was told I would be saving money compared to what I have been paying... totally irrelevant! Would never ever recommend here, felt very let down. The guy was nice enough, really liked the car but such a waste of 3 hours being there.
I tried to call Evans Halshaw Ford in Grantham service dept 6 times to cancel an appointment. I was kept waiting each time until the call timed out. I would have thought that someone might have answered the call only if to say there was nobody available. It would appear that there is a lack of leadership from the top. I do not think the firm would be very happy if I didn't inform them of my cancellation.
Wow, spent over two hours coming to a deal on purchase and trade in on an X3, pay over £2000 with an agreement to collect car following Saturday morning - 6 days between payment and collection. Air bag light on during test drive and I quote “ we will sort that”. We were called the following day to say they will not check the car until Thursday and if there is any big faults will not sell the car - first mention of this bombshell and frankly smell a rat. It’s ok though as they will call first thing Friday to advise all is ok. Just after 2pm on Friday afternoon, only nineteen hours before collection we get a call - sorry we will not sell the car to you as will cost to much to put light out, is that OK? No it’s not but they do not care, not even a sorry! I would not touch this dealer with someone else’s barge pole they are very enconomical with the truth. Oh and the refund of your money will happen sometime next week. Do yourselves a favour and find an honest dealer! You buy a car in good faith, pay all outstanding monies leaving just the trade in to drop off and are taken for a ride. I usually check reviews before buying - I did not do it this time and oh so regret it, Avoid!!!
I visited Evans Halshaw Grantham and was totally ignored by the 3 salesmen trying to sell a brand new vehicle to a prospective customer. After 15 minutes I approached the 2 men sat on the service desk but they couldn't care less. I left but a week later arranged to test drive a used car by phone. I arrived and the car in question was still where it was a week beforehand obviously not prepared for a test drive. After waiting again for the salesmen trying to sell a new vehicle to someone I was asked to wait and then told nobody new about the test drive! The same thing happened to another customer whilst I waited. After 30 minutes I got up and walked out and went elsewhere!

Went to Evans Halshaw Grantham today to sell my dad's car. Had an appointment for 12 and at 12.06 asked an office woman to find out where our rep was. She never came back so we walked out and no one even lifted their head to ask us. Appalling sales staff. Not sure why they pay them to chat and walk around the showroom doing nothing!!!!
A truly appalling experience. Loved the car but there were issues. Moved closer car turned out to have cosmetic issues which were rectified. Key missing, no service book. Went to collect car and no fuel or water in washer bottle. Disingenuous and rude staff who treat you with bad grace when you do not want to take their overpriced finance. Constantly trying to sell you stuff which are not required on a 66 plate car. For 10,000 pounds I'd expect a much better experience
There after sales services is awful. They draw you in with a reasonable sales experience, but once you drive away in your new car they could not care less. Spent £7000 on a car from them only 1 month ago only to have it back in the garage twice and then the engine emptied itself of water and over heated meaning I cannot drive it anymore. Kept getting chucked from pillar to post and lied to on the phone, apparently on a Saturday at midday there was no mangers or dealer principles in the showroom, yeah right, pull the other one. So decide to go to the showroom where surprise surprise I found I had been lied to again find a manger at his desk. They then seemed very arrogant and not helpful at all in sorting my car out. I was told there was nothing they can do till Monday, not impressive. The only reason I came away with a spare car was because I was not leaving until I did. Also to put the cherry on the cake when test driving, buying my new car and when getting my spare car I asked for a bit of fuel to get me home and both times what a surprise there fuel card was broken or out somewhere else. In my opinion they are a bunch of arrogant salesmen who don't know how to do anything. I would advice spending a bit more money somewhere else. I wish I had.
Went in to see a Ford Kuga for a test drive, stood 1/2 hour before anybody asked if we need help To be told none in, other 2 brand new customers, brand new cars. So we couldn't test drive. Got a call 2 days later, saying we could have a test drive, arrived to 2 service staff in middle of very public argument, moaning about having to take a customer who was in for a service back, when we asked for assistance we were told "she'll get to you soon" as he stormed out of the showroom. Then waited for the sales staff and mechanics to get their butties from a visiting bap van before we were seen, it turned up no one knew we were coming in but it was ok we could take a test drive. Asked to sign a disclaimer saying we were driving a Peugeot not the Kuga, and when we were in the car we were told it was a customer 15 plate brand new car so we couldn't go far. Absolutely disgusted they would take us out in what a customer was paying top price for. Shocking service and if I was buying a 15 Kuga 2 litre automatic in artic while I would NOT being happy. It's ok they won't know was the response. Needless to say we will NOT EVER buy a car from this dealer. Although we will be purchasing a new one I would not give his dealer a penny of our cash knowing they could be so deceitful. I was flabbergasted they would allow prospective customers drive a brand new car someone had purchased, knowing we weren't the first people to drive our new car minus delivery mileage etc I would be beyond furious! Would not trust this dealership.
