I would recommend that you give this dealership a wide berth. The experience that we have had is appalling and it is still ongoing and unresolved. On Sunday 19th February 2023 we attended the Evans Halshaw Peugeot Branch and dealt with Luke Baines in relation to selling our Kia Sorento. We had obtained a vast variety of quotes and opted to attend this location as it was convenient. On attending we agreed upon a price that we were happy with and supplied all the relevant documentation and the vehicle with them. We left expecting the money to be paid imminently. The Evans Halshaw Website suggests that the money would be processed before 2pm the following day. The latest I expected the money to be paid was Wednesday 22nd February - based on their own terms and conditions listed clearly on their website! Wednesday came and went with no money. I chased this up on Thursday where I spoke to James Riley. He promised to look Into this and call me back to update me. He never did. On Friday I emailed Luke Baines and further chased up where the payment was. He eventually contacted us to state that he required more paperwork - something which clearly should have been known on Monday when the paperwork should have been processed! This was promptly supplied and he assured us he would get this expedited for payment. To add further insult to injury this is documentation we took with us to the initial sale that was not asked for by Luke. The payment never arrived. I have emailed Luke twice further since and he has never responded. This level of customer service is completely unacceptable and a complete and utter disgrace. Evans Halshaw clearly does not need repeat business. We are now 8 days past the point of sale with still no money paid to us. They have literally purchased our vehicle, declined to provide any form of paperwork for the sale and done a runner with it. Sheer incompetence from start to finish. I will never use Evans Halshaw again and I would advise all other people to do the same. We should have used Webuyanycar - at least they would have paid the money!

If I could give 0 stars I would! Worst service ever! Nobody is knowledgeable or can even keep their word! Useless is a still nice description! Kept asking for over a week for the same information and pushed it onto the lender which has already accepted all my papers! Get treated like a non human because of being a foreigner and even asked if I really can afford the car! Get laughed at and when I have enough and cancel the car they happy accept that! Lost the cancellation fees for the insurance and gained not just headache and time loss but also a hard search! The seller said things like "oh yes Santander does my head" and "they annoy me so much" instead of reassuring me through the process of buying a new car! They have told me that the car gets back up for sale but it's not! They have lied to me, while the car probably got sold to someone else already, made the process really annoying and hard for me so I will cancel! Absolutely disgusting! Do yourself a favour and keep looking to find the right car somewhere else instead of falling for this horrible people who just wants to make money and more money! Didn't accept my own lender but wanted to use their own which charges three times more and from which they get their portion as well! Disgusting!
The service was very good , due to Lauren Mcgarrigle nothing was to much trouble for her with the advise she gave us a big thankyou .
First point of contact was Lisa who was very helpful and she put me onto Mark who new exactly what my problem was, I made arrangements to take the car to Mansfield where I met April on reception, didn't get the mechanic name but everyone did a First class service and I'm one happy customer, thankyou
Rang to see if a car was still for sale I saw on autotrader spoke to a saleswoman and was told yes it was and only just been put on the forecourt took my phone number and email address and I arranged to come over straight away and booked a test drive on her advice and she said she would send me a video of the car.Took me nearly an hour in Friday afternoon traffic to get there hadn’t received the video from her then when I arrived was told sorry the car had been sold I was fuming they could have contacted me knowing I was on the way and saved me the journey spoke with the manager and complained about his sale staff but all he could do was apologise would I recommend this garage absolutely not if this is the level of customer service.

I recently bought a car from this showroom. The service I received was great. I did not feel the pressure of buying a car as I did in other showrooms and at every stage I was consulted on what I was looking for. The process was efficient and enjoyable. The car was thoroughly cleaned and looked after before collection. I would definitely recommend the showroom. I was served by Greg who looked after me very well.

paid £299 for a major service on a c4 Picasso but the work wasn't carried out I had my doubts when they said 1 of the cv boots was split so I checked myself when I got home and the boots were in perfect condition and they wanted to charge an extra £161 to change it when I pointed this out to the service manager he said it wasn't the cv boot but the drop link needed replacing because there was play in it which I knew about I replaced both sides at a cost of £11 and 40 minutes of my time and when I booked it in over the phone I was told all fluids would be changed including brake fluid which I enquired about but when I was handed the bill they want an extra £50 to changed it , basic things like tyre pressures weren't checked , torque settings of the wheel studs not checked not even the battery terminals were greased. I serviced the car myself a week orso after as I always do the only reason I took it to the main dealer is because it has full dealer service history and I wanted to keep it that way I changed all the filters and the only filter that looked like it had been replaced was the air filter , the oil filter was filthy the fuel filter looked like it had been in there for a good while , they obviously didn't take the wheels off because of the incorrect torque settings of the studs but yet they said they measured the thickness of the brake pads which is impossible to do with the wheels on the car due to the type of alloys it has on. The service manager had a real bad attitude when I took the car back and pointed out work which wasn't done and on the phone previous to this he said he would get it on the ramps and show me the work which was carried out but when I was there he didn't even attempt to get it on the ramp he just walked straight past it , instead it took about 2 minutes for him to say to me he'd give me a full refund and (in his words) ''to take my business elsewhere'' which tells me he knew full well the service wasn't done and just wanted to get rid of me , he probably thought I didn't know the difference between a socket and a screwdriver , I wonder how many other people have been ripped off ? I bet i'm not the only one. Seriously considering reporting to the trading standards , be warned and stay well clear of these cowboys.

I saw a car on auto trader so called in to Evans Halshaw Peugeot Mansfield take a look. On the test drive I found the car to be dirty with damaged bodywork. I was then insulted on trade in.
