Cowboys! Cowboys! Ordered new car in January, took £1500 deposit, waited months for a car that would never arrive, I was stringed along with excuses, but Vauxhall confirmed the car could not be built. Evans Halshaw kept this from me. They refused to refund deposit. but offered another car which was not accepted. Eventually obtained car from another dealer which they stated they would service etc. However they refused to fit parts which they ordered for me, but quoted over £500 for service. Never thought I would buy a car online without first having a test drive! However, Glyn Coghlan made the whole process very easy and it was worth the 115 mile to go and collect the car. Glyn do everything he could to ensure that the car was fit for purpose and I had a very enjoyable drive home. Would highly recommend dealing with Glyn as a fantastic sales representative to deal with.

Very pleased with the purchase of our new Mokka e & all the help David Matthew from Evans Halshaw, Newport did for us. David guided us all the way from ordering our new electric car to actually delivering the car to our home. He was available to help us with any queries, plus answer any questions any time of the day. In other words David couldn’t do enough to help and smooth the purchase of our new car & the part exchange of our car. Plus thank you for all the extra & the lovely thought of the bunch of flowers. Told me 153 for service get there and its 199 plus 45 for mot and that's now 49 car we brought we've had for a year so they want 600 for an mot not buying from them again

All Mokka cars 2021 plate recall due to wipers issue had mine fix’s in Newport but car mileage gone up 5k on milage on return on Thursday afternoon. Car went in on Tuesday but memory wiped off car and took 2 days to sort out now I’ve got a car with 5K extra on milage. Not a happy customer.

Evans Halshaw Newport advertised a car for sale. We viewed and purchased the car. The sales receipt stated that the car was a Meriva 1600 cc. That was exactly what we wanted. We never received a V5, not sure why. We didn’t realise this until we wanted to sell the car. We immediately contacted the DVLA who sent one free of charge as we had never received one. To our horror Evans Halshaw had lied about the car all along. We bought what we thought was a 1600cc car when in fact it turned out to be a 1400cc car. We had no idea and had trusted the dealership to have actually sold us what they had advertised. We called them at once but they weren’t interested. We wrote and they took weeks before telling us...It was an admin error. What kind of stupid excuse is that. So we asked for the national manager but we’re directed to a regional manager who said word for word what the dealership had said. We told them they should take back the car and refund our money. The car wasn’t as advertised or as the sales receipt. If we had known it was a 1400cc we wouldn’t have purchased it. They refused to acknowledge their mistake and just continues to say Admin Error. It’s disgraceful they clearly can’t be trusted. If you deal with them check they’re actually selling you what they say they it is. It may be something completely different. They were dismissive, unprofessional and although they admitted their mistake, it was in black and white on the sale receipt, refused to do anything other than make a ridiculous offer for the vehicle. We would NEVER deal with them again.

Fantastic from start to finish. Got a great for my old car, a great deal on my new car. The salesman made things quick and easy, talked me through everything and was able to answer any questions. The manager was able to put together a really competitive finance package and the whole exchange/sale was simple, start to finish

On hold waiting to amend a service booking for 15 mins, called back lady apologised then back on hold furthermore. large group, poor service stick with a family owned company !!
