I brought a xc60 from wayland newbury. I mentioned that the car rattled and adrian illman took the car out and found no fault. Is he deaf? I have not received any follow up call....I live 20 miles away so they think I can just drop the car in when it suits them. Will never buy another Volvo I will never deal with fawcetts newbury again.

We are very glad we chose to buy a car from Fawcetts, Newbury. Dealing with Nick and (mostly) Martin, we found them to be organised, courteous and a pleasure to deal with. Prior to the first visit to view the car, we were sent a video of the car which was very helpful. We trusted them with the transaction and Martin was very helpful and not at all like a ‘typical’ salesman; no hard sales, and willing to accommodate our requests. Would not hesitate to purchase another car in the future.

I’ve just taken delivery of a new V40 and the whole car buying experience was stress free and enjoyable. Martin, the salesman, kept me updated on delivery and when it arrived spent as much time as I needed to get acquainted with it. The car is great and I’m glad I chose it over all the other makes I looked at. Recommended.

The car wasn't checked over properly before sale, there was a lot of work that needed doing under warranty once we drove the car away. The communication was poor, many of our emails went unanswered and after a while the emails started to bounce back. I wouldn't recommend them personally.

We would like the opportunity to discuss with the customer what went wrong here, its been a long time since delivery and reading the comments I suspect the customer was directing emails to the wrong address if they are bouncing back. We absolutely do not walk away from our responsibility's, ignore customers or run and hide when things go wrong. Without specific customer details its hard to say what the situation is here but all cars are checked over without exception before delivery, this is a documented process so if the customer gets in contact I will be happy to investigate any issues. We are ranked in the Top 10 Volvo dealers in the country for customer satisfaction so we obviously take this sort of thing very seriously!
