I recently purchased a car through fish motors , ive been shopping around as it is my second car and wanted something to last me a few years, the staff are fantastic and the customer service is second to none also not to mention it is fantastic value for money i would highly recommend to family and friends! Great buisness.
I purchased a Vw Phaeton. I travelled 150 miles to pick up a car and they knew 2 days before that Im going to come to buy a car but unfortunatelly when I came the car was not ready to sell- damaged tyre and completely worn brake pads. They tried to sell a car which was not roadworthy. The car was sold not as described, a lot of spec have been missed which I noticed when come back home and dealer refused to sort it out. I noticed that just after my complaine they posted information on the end of all advert but this was not there before: Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the above information but errors may occur. Please check with a salesperson. Avoid to buy vehicle there.

This is a very strange review as we have had the same disclaimer on spec for 10 years and Autotrader who advertise the cars also have the same . This is why we allow all customers to check over the cars thoroughly before purchase . This was no different , the customer had a 2 hour check and asked lots of questions being in doubt he knew all spec available before purchase . Also no mention that he had to take the vehicle straight away and all required repairs were paid in full by us !

You should not sell a car with damaged tyre and completely worn brake pads, I was lucky that I got home safe! This was a high spec car and was not possible to check everything or I just could miss something which does not mean that you do not take responsibility after sale, I belive that you know: Consumer Rights Act 2015 .I used ebay advert and there was no information or small writing about some kind of disclaimer like: \specification error may occur\" I asked about spec and you answered exacly the same like on the ebay. I can not remember any disclaimer on Fish Motors web site but if it was there it shows just how honest you are."

I bought a VW from Fish Motors back in April. The service was okay, the salesmen were reasonably helpful. The price of the car was okay but I the car definitely not sold as it was described. Over all I would say the whole experience was pretty average and they could have done better. I would not recommend.
