On Tuesday my partner rang Ford Dagenham in regards to a car he saw online, was told that it had been sent to Edgeware and that we had to purchase through Dagenham and the car to be brought back due to Edgeware not being able to MOT or Service the care due to it not having a garage. Was told that the car could be delivered to us by Friday. During the week a £200 deposit was paid for the car. The next day we was then asked for a further £5000 for the car as another deposit which we refused to pay as we had already paid the £200. I was told on Thursday afternoon that the car should be in Dagenham by Friday so an option was for me to collect or wait for delivery to my home address for the following week. Friday came and I was told that the car was not going to be delivered to Dagenham until the following week so I would not be able to get it until the very end of the following week. So I decided to ring Edgeware. I was told that I could buy from them and they went out of there way to send me a video of the car and came back to me within half an hour to say that it could be delivered first thing Monday morning. (I was told by Selven at Dagenham that I could not buy from Edgeware. I would have gone directly to Edgeware at the start of the week and would have already had the car) so I then rang Selven at Dagenham to ask for my refund back as I was going to purchase with Edgeware and that I no longer wanted to deal with Dagenham. Selven then told me that I couldn’t buy from Edgeware as the car was still showing on there forecourt so I then told him I had spoken to Edgeware and the car was not even on there system as being sent back to Dagenham. I told him that he lied to me as on Tuesday he stated that I couldn’t buy from Edgeware but I had spoke to Them and I could. He then was flapping and saying he couldn’t refund me the money I then told him again that he was a liar and that I did not want to do buisness with there branch! He told me that he didn’t want to loose the sale And so I told him again I no longer wanted to deal with Dagenham and that I wanted a refund. He then told me abruptly He would refund me and then and hung the phone up. When your investing a lot of money in a car you expect a service of trust and common curtesy. All because he didn’t want to loose a sale and commission he lied from the off. Dagenham Ford is not a good place to buy from, you constantly get fobbed off and told different things daily.
Three months ago I bought a car from Ford Dagenham, during this time I’ve had nothing but problems from the car including bald tyres a timing belt which needed changing back in 2019, and a broken suspension. My car has been back to their garage at least 10 times with me complaining every time they said no there’s nothing wrong. Now my warranty has finished they are finding all the problems I was trying to tell them about. They now want me to cover the costs of problems caused by the last owner. They have been ignoring my calls and emails. They knew the car was unfit for the roads and still decided to sell it on. I feel so neglected and heartbroken that I couldn’t trust a car from a dealership. They have dismissed me completely and unless I pay they are not interested. Please DO NOT trust Ford with your money they will exploit you

My email complaint to Fords, it took them OVER a month to reply, even then it was ONLY because I sent them a follow up. Notice the VERY BASIC, NONE CARING, COULDN'T GIVE A 💩 reply. 23rd/6/21 I've been having my Service & MOT with you since I got my car when the 65 reg came out so I get free AA call outs, just phoned them as my car won't start & it turns out the member of staff who dealt with me HASN'T VALIDATED my membership so they WON'T come out to me!! NOW I CAN'T GET HOME!! I've got to get in touch with you muppets tomorrow (Sunday June 13th) in hope that this can be sorted, wasting my time & I've no idea how long I'll have to wait WASTING MY SUNDAY!! In the mean time I DON'T HAVE A CAR you C*NTS!! INCOMPETENT!! UPDATE: Phoned you idi*ts dead on 10am, told the service department isnt open on Sunday's!!! I've had no way of getting home since yesterday because of you fools! IT'S OVER 1 MONTH, STILL NO REPLY SO I FOLLOW UP MY EMAIL: Hi, Are you just going to ignore my email? Enquiries started on a used car Sunday, deposit down Monday, chasing info all week and repeated If they can't move the car closer to me for a viewing with intent to buy like it's advertised they can, then I'll have to drive to Dagenham Friday/Saturday. Otherwise I'd have viewed it Weds. Full service history as advertised wasn't to hand and presented a problem trying to obtain. Showed up 8:30 Saturday as agreed I would, at 9am when sales opened I was told the car was picked up for a viewing by their Staines branch the day prior. Other party hadn't viewed or driven it yet either, I was offered to go and look at it Saturday morning M25 traffic without the ability to test drive or buy. No thanks. Communication all week has been hard work, reviews are not surprising but revealing about the culture problem. 140 mile drive through crap weather after taking out a loan to do as I said I'd do. Lucky thing I'm within my cooldown period and did my homework. This franchise has problems.

Don't buy anything from Ford UK . They sold me a defected car and only after 2 weeks of driving it, it needed an engine replacement. Its now been in the garage at TrustFord Dagenham almost a month and @Ford has refused to replace the engine. I have lost my job because of these people. They lie, they cheat, they try to wangle their way out of taking responsibility for a defected car that they sold me. I have all the proof, paperwork emails, but they still don't care. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM FORD. DO NOT TRUSTFORD. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

It is a waste of money buying car from car dealer. I purchased worth £19,500, almost brand new but it is faulty car, they hide many thing during the selling process, receipt, mileage they cheating....they even charge me in the fuel during the drive test £20 just found in my receipt. Dont trust service department as well. check carefully your parts if they said they replaced. Car too many faults until now. they attempted 5 days already. they never contact me for a long time . they said they will contact me to arrange repair by their master technician.
Would give zero stars if I could. Enquired about a used Vauxhall Meriva on sale at £7500, and received an email reply on the 27th December at 3.43pm from Ebenezer saying the car was *still available*. I replied *immediately* saying I looked forward to hearing from him shortly with some figures. By the 30th December I had not heard back from Ebenezer, I assumed this was due to the Xmas/New year break. I therefore reserved the car online with a £100 deposit and received a receipt and reservation number. And then waited to hear from them, as per the instructions in the "Congratulations!" email I received: "Thank you for reserving this vehicle, our team will contact you shortly". Never heard a peep from Trustford Dagenham until 3.59pm on Monday, January the 4th Ebenezer calls me to say "Due to a computer error, the car has been sold by another dealership to another customer". Absolutely great. Now I have to tell my elderly Mother, who has just recovered from Cancer, that the car she'd set her heart on has been sold to someone else. Thanks very much TrustFord, a terrible start to the new year. There's not a chance I would *ever* use TrustFord in the future, because you can't TRUST them. *Please*, if you're looking for a new or used car, look elsewhere to avoid disappointment.

We bought an expensive second hand car from ford Dagenham and have had to deal with incompetence, poor customer service and a general feeling of dissatisfaction. We purchased the car at the weekend and were meant to pick it up 3 days later, which in that time we were told that the car would be cleaned, any chips dealt with. This definitely did not happen, the car had half eaten crisps and even someone’s reading glasses still in it. In these COVID cautious time, every precaution is being made to their staff but not their customers. We were also told we could not have the fuel we had paid for as they had lost their fuel card and their was no fuel at all in the vehicle! Also only one key was working! When I phoned to complain little help was offered, and would mean me losing half a day to get to them to correct their mistakes! Their is no flexibility with solving their mistakes, as all I want is a valet and to be re-Imbursement for the fuel, without losing time going that distance to fix their mistakes. Also no mention of looking at the chips. In those 3 days between purchase and collection they did nothing to the car, my husband had to peel all the sales labels off! Customers service is poor and they don’t even care, once they have made a sale.
After paying and reserving a car with the Dagenham ford branch and agreeing to pick it up 7 days later as i live in Bristol. On the fifth day i contacted ford to be told the car i had reserved had been sent to Birmingham for another customer and told it will be resolved. The next day i was told Mr Gary Osborne said i had lost the car even though i had a contract with them for this car ??.

Shambles rude customer service awful been having new cars on options for ten years and waiting two months for new car ok COVID 19 delays no problem then told car will be one week then two weeks oh sorry not gonna be here for another week or two no updates had to keep calling then Then told want more of a deposit after being told the deal all Went through with ford credit from the beginning. Told after 8 weeks need more money what a joke when this could of been said from the beginning I will never go back to ford ripple road when Allen ford are smaller and look after you from the off Mo musa is a disgrace as a salesman massive let down to ford uk
