BEWARE. In my opinion and other mechanics, the servicing team carry out unnecessary work which involves extra charges. Spoke to a Manager who promised me a call from Service Manager and 6 weeks later still waiting. Contacted Customer Care Team who allegedly contacted Branch and still non the wiser as Manager lied to Customer Care Team about conversation i had with him and they don't seem that bothered about it. All they seem interested in is taking your money and not bothering about customers. DON'T take your vehicle here unless you don't mind being charged for unnecessary work.

After sales service very very poor. The free 12 month warranty not fit for purpose Starter motor malfunctioning after 4 months hand brake button broke and flew off. Phoned Frosts they told me take the car to service department in Portslade. Left it for a day and a half. All they did was start the car up several times. And it started and that was that. They said because it was a intermittent fault they couldn't do anything. So I used my 12 month warranty. They wouldn't pay for a genuine Vauxhall starter motor, the garage had taken to were not prepared to fit a cheap starter motor for obvious reason. They would be responsible for any future problems . So the Warranty would pay £245 towards the supply and fitting of the Vauxhall starter motor. I had to pay £315 to make up the short fall

Purchased almost new Astra with 800 miles. At 6,000 miles it required new engine. Car was at Frosts Chichester for 8 weeks awaiting parts that had to come from Germany (apparently!). Total lack of updates during this time. When it was finally returned it had to have bodywork done as it had been damaged whilst it was parked outside the garage for the 8 weeks! At 11,000 miles problems with transmission. Car still under warranty and I was told part would be 7-10 days which transpired into 12 weeks before garage had the courtesy to ring with an update. This was the first communication from them during the 12 weeks and by this time having given up I sold the Astra at a great loss. This was not helped by the fact they had also written "new engine fitted" on service book which didn't help when selling. Would never use them again as their customer care is non existent. The whole experience was a nightmare. However, Sam the salesman who sold us the car in good faith was brilliant but sadly he was let down by his colleagues

Really impressed with the friendly helpful professional staff at Frosts Cars in Chichester, nothing was too much trouble. Such a rarity to have such wonderful customer service. I certainly recommend Frosts to anyone considering buying a car.
