Traveled 120miles for this car as it was exactly what I was after and there wasn’t any others closer, spoke to wade at Hillbrook Motors (the owner) over the phone who described every little detail that was on the car such as little scratches etc as I wasn’t only 5 minutes down the road to turn up and be disappointed if I was told basically the car was brand new and turn up for it not to be. Got there and the car was exactly what I was after, was described to a T over the phone knowing what I was turning up to and drove perfect. Had the clutch replaced for me as it was starting to slip and made sure it was ready for the long journey home. Perfect car drived well until about a week or so later when it started to knock as I was driving, long story short took it to a garage near to me and the gearbox needed replacing (No fault of wade’s as the car was checked when bought must have been on its way out before hand) luckily it was covered with the free 3 months warrenty wade had given to me with the car, took it to a gearbox specialist where they sorted the Warranty out for me but there was extra money needed which wade without even hesitation offered to pay the excess amount! Now the car drives fine had no problems since and am very happy with the purchase, would DEFINITELY recommend Hillbrook motors no matter how far the journey, Great staff and great cars. A very honest man too!

Very happy with my ford galaxy, the garage did all the necessary work to ensure it was reliable for me, i felt like a valued customer and although at times it took a while for things to happen - for example when i needed the 2nd key posting out it was a couple of weeks, this is the only negative I can find as the owner never broke any promises and as far as I am concerned honesty and reliability are the most important factors when buying a used car so I would definitely recommend here. They also did little extras like fuel to get home, change low battery on key fob amongst other things when they didnt really have to which was very much appreciated. After some very different service from a previous dealer Hilbrook motors was a welcome refreshing change. 5 stars.

Saw a Ford Focus diesel on their website, rang and arranged a viewing! Greeted by Wade, and left to have a look at the car, went on a good long test drive, and no pressure or hassle. Drove away happy and had car over a month, happy days...would recommend.

I was sold a lemon car "Ford Galaxy". Hill Brook Motors had agreed to replace timing kit (including in the final price), however seller just replaced the upper timing belt not the lower (Ford Galaxy 1.8 has got 2 belts), and i am in dispute with the seller to date. Car has broken down on 2 occasions, and went into limp mode. Displaying "engine malfunction" on the dashboard. AA recovered and cleared the fault codes. Taken to the local Ford workshop for full diagnostic, but they have asked to send this car back to their repairer (which was through this seller) and Ford have also noticed noisy engine. As this seller does not respond through phone, sms or email, i have been going through recorded delivery letters communication pursuing the seller to either take the car back and refund, or fix the 3 outstanding issues (till today). Seller has left us a amazing impression while buying the car, but not any more whilst the car has started to show major issues. I would suggest if you have bough the car from this seller, drive it for a month or more then leave the review.

We feel your review is unfair, and will briefly outline some facts below, and without going into matters in great detail, we trust our letter will have now reached you by now to bring the matter to a satisfactory conclusion through no fault of our own. - You purchased the Ford Galaxy 09 reg some 4 months ago ( mid-April 2018) - You have done approximately 6000 miles in the vehicle following your purchase - We did agree to replace a timing belt kit, which you refer to as a dry belt, as a goodwill gesture, Ford’s own recommendations are that the timing belt is replaced at 125,000 miles or 10 years, however the vehicle had 81,200 miles at the time of purchase - As a further gesture of goodwill, we also paid £40 diesel contribution, and suggested you fill the tank up as you previously drove a petrol vehicle, however you declined, and later that evening you filled the vehicle up with petrol when you were in London, contacted us to say that you were unable to drive it, and had arranged for the Fuel Doctor to attend, who were not sure if all the fuel was removed, and if a new fuel filter was also replaced? - At the beginning of May you called to say there was a slight diesel leak, and we referred you to WarrantyWise for which you have a 24 month Gold Warranty, partially paid by ourselves, and you texted the following day to say ‘it was just fuel pipes that I tightened myself to the injector and fuel regulator’. We would like to add, having seen your recent feedback, that you appear to have painted a bleak picture about our business, but have not stated the true facts as outlined above, which we are sorry to see, and would like to remind you that we do highly pride ourselves on providing the best possible service, which is critical for our small business, but are unable to help a very small minority of customers who are not willing to compromise or find a fair and amicable resolution. Finally, we trust you will take on board the above, and the recommended conclusions to move forward as outlined in our detailed letter, and suggest you contact the recommended garage local to yourself as your over a 100 miles/3 hour journey away, or alternatively any other recommended/approved garage who will be more than happy to book the vehicle in, diagnose the problem, fix it, and get you back on the road, but understand that you still haven’t done this despite trying to find a resolution so it would now appear your not really helping yourself?
