I saw German Performance put AD on autotrader and I tried to get more information about the car, the staff who answered the call have no patience at all. When I ask is there any offer for the price he just hang up without any word, I never meet such terrible customer service in anywhere. According to other reviewer it is not hard to imagine they will be the same service provide to you after you brought car from them and find any problem on their car.

Please listen. Never ever purchase from German Performance. The car I purchased is ok but had a couple of small issues during the first weeks of owning it. I contacted German performance and they told me to return it to them to be fixed which would have been a round trip of 200+ miles in a car that wasn't working properly. I explained I wasn't happy to do this incase of further damage being caused or breaking down on the way there. They explained I could get it looked at locally and to get back to them after it had been looked at. I carried out this action and subsequently paid out £200 to get the car running properly. I have since contacted German performance to explain I've had to pay out for the vehicle to be put right and asked whether they would reimburse me as the vehicle is still under warranty. This has fallen on deaf ears despite numerous emails. Awful awful customer service and completely unprofessional. Worst garage I've ever dealt with. Maybe German Non Performance is better fitting!

GERMAN PERFORMANCE CARS. Terrible experience with Gerrman Performance in Ashford, faulty car, and we lost £480 “deposit”. My wife bought a Honda legend from this dealer (LD56KRJ) We were given a small discount as there was a minor oil leak from the timing chest, but otherwise the car seemed sound. The salesman ***** assured me if there were any major problems I could bring the car back within 30 days. We drove to Bristol the next day and the oil light came on as we were entering the city, (around 200 miles since purchase.) I had checked the oil at the time of purchase and it was full. Over the next 1000 miles the car drank 6.5 litres of oil. There was no oil under the car and no sign of leakage, so it was being burnt in the engine. There was a known fault with these engines where the oil control rings could become stuck, I assume this was the problem. At this rate of consumption the oil would have to refilled half way through a tank of petrol. We spoke to ***** (never found out his second name) and told him we were returning the car because it was not fit for purpose. ***** objected to this. Told me I could not bring it back, suggested I could go to court over it, then slammed the phone down on me. I took the car back. A few days later he phoned me back to say his mechanic had done a compression test and there was nothing wrong with the car. (Even my 87 year old mum knew that engines that burnt that much oil are probably knackered) We were then told that if we were refunded they would deduct £480 because we had driven the car 1000 miles. AA CARS STEP IN As an AA assured dealer, the AA stepped in as a mediator. The first thing they discovered was that the dealer had never sent off the v5 document, so there was no way for us to reclaim the road tax. In the small print of the contract there was a £480 non refundable deposit/admin charge. The reverse of the contract had an additional 34 terms and conditions, many of which contradicted the sale of goods act. The contract did not have a dealers name on it, it was rubber stamped with German Performance Cars. There is no company registered at companies’ house called German Performance Cars. But registered at the same address were Car City Centre Ltd and Car City Sport Ltd. The credit card payment was to yet another company: Grand Autos Park Royal Ltd. Over a month after the car was returned we have finally received a partial refund. All was well until there was a problem, then it has been a truly terrible experience ever since, non existent customer service, and we were only saved from more grief by the good work of AA cars.

I purchased the car from the dealer, who assured me that the car was in good condition. Firstly the car was advertised as in "excellent condition". Excellent means excellent regardless of what age it is in my eyes. Car did not meet the description but once challenged they responded "well it's not new what do you expect". Anyway we moved on, had a test drive and for a minute and all seemed fine. I had a look at the car documents which made little sense to me, as numbers did not seem to be adding up but the dealer assured me all paperwork is correct and genuine and that the car was in excellent condition. I took his word and paid deposit, dealt with Zuto and collected the car in a week. I had an hour and a half drive home, during which half way low oil pressure light came up and it said to immediately stop the engine. I pulled over and called the dealer who explained to me that its only a sensor and that he is going to pay the £20 for it, and that I should absolutely continue my journey and ignore the light. I continued home and the light disappeared the next day. Also, all throughout the journey gears were popping out back to neutral as if it wasn't going in fully for some reason. I was still suspicious of the vehicle's condition so i took it to a local mechanic who specialises in BMW's. The very first moment the mechanic got into the car he smiled and said the car needs a new gearbox. Once the car was up to inspect what is underneath the mechanic has pointed out multiple problems like oil leaks, illegal tyres with bulges, and many other engine problems. Then we plugged computer into the car to inspect whats going on inside. The mechanic said the car has so many faults and errors which have not been cleared on the system, but only had the warning lights turned off on the display. Cylinder misfire, oil pump, etc over 30 errors! The mechanic was also very certain from just looking into the interior that the car has done much more than 100k advertised miles and pointed out more towards the 200k. Interior was deteriorated so much and was 100% sure the mileage was clocked back. Mechanic said he has not seen a car in such bad shape in a while! So with this new information I sent the dealer an email stating all the issues. Dealer ignored the email for around 1-2 weeks and then I called them to chase it up. The person who answered the phone was fully aware of the email and intentionally ignored it, telling me that I am a liar and that I should apologize to him for lying about all the problems of the car! Hilarious! put the phone down on me. I was in absolute shock. To make sure it was true I took the car again to an official BMW Dealership in who inspected the car for approx £100. They have told me that the car have bulges on tyres and is not roadworthy. Also engine problems, oil leaks, that it needs a new clutch(dealer stated in his ad that the car has got BRAND NEW clutch, which was a lie again), and new gearbox. The official BMW mechanic has also explained to me that the documents and mileage does not add up. It is clear on MOT mileage records that the car has been clocked back. The total cost to fix the car came to near £6,000.00. Basically it was a long long journey and dealer was absolutely dishonest with me. They also claimed at the end that they have completed the refund until we had to chase them for the money again. The refund was only made in 1-2 months of returning the vehicle. They has ignored multiple requests to return the money. This was the most stressful, shocking, disgusting nightmare having to deal with all that in 6 month period. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!
