I have owned an IS300, CT200h, SC430, RX450h, MY17 RX450h (still own) and finally my dream car the RC F which has prompted this review. This would've been a 1 star review, however, the sales team of Russell and Dimitar, who I bought 2 cars from in the space of 2 months (RX450h and RC F in late 2022) were fantastic in their service and friendliness. I use my RC F as part of my business as a car detailer, to take to shows and showcase my work. It is incredibly important to me that the car is standard and flawless, so much so that prior to buying it Dimitar brought it to my workplace for me to inspect the paint. The RC F had to go to the workshop due to a fault with the active rear spoiler which needed to be replaced. During the time the car was in their care, a tool was dropped on the car denting it on the pillar next to the rear window. This was owned up to immediately by the service staff who assured me at the time that the car would be repaired to a standard that I was happy with and that they had every faith in their bodyshop in Broxburn to get the job done right. At the time I was less than satisfied that an original finish could be achieved but was asked to let them try to make it right for me by Alan, the sales manager. At this time, as far as I was concerned, the car wouldn't ever be the same, having been through a bodyshop. After 8 weeks without the car I was informed that the car was back at Lexus Glasgow and dropped in to see it. It was serviced and MOT'd at that time (the MOT and a replacement tyre which had a tear on the inside was provided complementary). There was a scuff on one of the rear alloys which was not there when the car was collected (I have photos of the car on my driveway prior to it being collected) and the service manager agreed to have this refurbished. Whilst I was there, I noticed a rough lacquer tape line where the roof meets the upper sill which was pointed out but as the car was dirty from being driven back from Broxburn nothing else was visible at this time. A few days later I collected the car and took it straight to my work where it was washed and dried. I counted 29 bits of dust, dirt, fibres, sanding marks under the lacquer and small popped bubbles on the paintwork. I called immediately, took pictures and sent them over and was asked to hold off until they could arrange a meeting with myself, the bodyshop manager and manager Craig. During this meeting, I had all the pictures of the defects on my laptop which were shown and the conclusion of the meeting was that I was completely unsatisfied with the repair and that Craig would make me an offer to buy the car back. In its current state, I couldn't use it for what it was purchased for. I got an offer the following week for £10k less than what I paid for the car, less than the finance owed on the car and less than even WBAC would offer. I was gobsmacked: for a car that they damaged and proven incapable of repairing to even a basic standard, to be offered such an insulting amount! To summarise, I am now stuck with a car I don't want (I had zero intention of getting rid of prior to it being damaged - this was my dream car!). Then to top it off Lexus agreed to cover the cost for me to remove paint overspray, polish and reapply a ceramic coating to the resprayed panels which I am actually having to chase up payment for. I am unbelievably disappointed in Lexus, and am embarrassed that my father bought a new ES300h on my recommendation. I will not return to the Lexus brand.

Absolutely inept dealership with no concept of customer service or even legal compliance. They delivered me a car with incomplete repair works and it’s been over a month of absolutely no response to my email or phone calls.

Had my car for 24hrs to find scrapping noise coming from wheel. After swapping front wheels for rear ones, noise disappeared. No fault detected, no parts required. No offer of courtesy vehicle, but a bill of £250+VAT. Nice way to financially rape an OAP. Go anywhere bar Lexus Glasgow.

I never bought a Lexus but what I did find was Gary skea AKA the predator was sending my partner inappropriate text that she left her job Management need to do there homework before taking on employees a right disgusting man

Showroom at Lexus Glasgow was impressive, good first point, I spoke to salesman Barry Llewelyn he was very knowledgable about the vehicles after discussing my needs he said he had a car on the was but would take 5 to 6 weeks. As I wasn’t in a rush I would wait. Paid deposit and low and behold next week the car was on its way and arrived the next week great service or just lucky. Barry was first class and explained everything in great detail and was 100 % satisfied. Would definitely go back and certainly recommend this salesman. Great customer service

Very bad communication, sent email days ago about a car, to book for a test drive, but the adviser Kenny didn't want to respond through e-mails, advised to call. Rung after the weekends, nearly left deposit as car was announced available on the phone, but they sold the car to smb already while chatting to me on the phone. One of the worst experience, compare to other dealers I worked with. Don't recommend , very unprofessional and lack of communication in their own systems, had to chase them up all the day from the morning, while they promised to give a call, or smb on the meeting etc.

Contacted Lexus Glasgow service dept and requested price for replacement Panasonic battery. They quoted me £115 inc vat ex labour costs for fitting of battery. When asked to confirm whether this was the cost for original I was told that it was an Optimax type battery.....completely brainless as I had specifically requested Panasonic battery. They are complete chancers this company. Managed to source the original battery online and arranged fitting with local independent garage. Avoid Lexus Glasgow.

Visited Glasgow Lexus recently to test drive a nearly-new model which I was considering buying. The salesman was rude, patronising and would not stop talking irrelevant nonsense. I could barely get a word in to ask a question. Despite making it clear I was seriously interested I was not offered any form of test-drive and my comments over some features (and damage) to the car were dismissed. Very disappointing way to treat someone close to spending £26k. I will not be giving this dealer my business.
