I really should know by now that the customer service will be atrocious at the Bishop Stortford branch but somehow I keep thinking they might have upped their game just slightly. How wrong could I be! I purchased a car in May and the handover went catastrophically badly. Since then the car has developed a number of different noises which I have on video and have sent them. They then booked it in for today. After only a few minutes of looking they were back to tell me nothing is wrong. Bear in mind that one of the faults reported was the power cutting out when pulling out of a junction. I then had about 2hours of going back and forth for them to then change their story to ‘the noises are within tolerable limits’ (so eventually admitting they could hear them after being told they couldn’t) and being laughed at when I said the car was dangerous with the power failure. I picked this up with the service team and the man who had laughed said that it wasn’t dangerous and it was offensive to him for me the day his cars are dangerous!! I asked to look in one of the used cars for sale to see if that made the same noise and the service assistant just walked off and never asked them leaving me sat there again until I had to go and find someone myself. I was then promised that this would be escalated to the Director who had dealt with my previous appalling experience but I’ve still not heard back from them. This dealership needs closing down. The sales are terrible and as I have now learned the service team are as bad, if not worse.

Was pressured to pay a refundable deposit on a car I wanted to view (apparently it had a lot of interest!) and was told it was in excellent condition. Upon viewing the car had more damage than I'd expect on an 18month old car. Now I cannot get my deposit returned and nobody inc the branch manager returns my calls when they say they will etc. If this is how I've been treated before a sales it doesn't install confidence in them and shall take my business elsewhere.

Really please with the customer service and my new car. Harry was a delight to deal with and Stuart the manager was there in the wings if Harry was not available. Cant fault them.

Love my car but the dealership is awful here. If you need anything looked at on your car they dont want to know. You book it in for work to be done and it either gets cancelled or only partly done. Never really re viewed things before but as I have recieved the same bad service 3 times I wanted to warn people. By all means buy a Nissan as great cars but I would recommend buying from somewhere else

Motor ombudsman now has the case as bishops stortford dealership have poorly managed. They lied about a key safety feature in the car for me to find out it doesnt have it. They wont take car back even though I raised 24 hours after collection! Disgusting. There customer service is awful. They dont call, email etc. Heads in the sand.
I've called earlier today to ask if I could charge my nissan leaf, I was told that it would be no problem. When I arrived I was asked to use RFID card which I don't have, nobody from the staff was able to help and was not willing to help. Absolutely disgusting behaviour towards me from Glyn Hopkin in Bishop Stortford.

We went to Glynn Hopkins in Bishops Stortford to buy our daughter her first car! We were met by Rhys Godfrey and he did everything he could to help us find the right car! He searched for cars, kept us up to date at all times & was completely honest if he didn’t think a car was right for us. He kept to our budget and made the whole experience a joy! My daughter is over the moon with her car and we could not be happier with the service provided!!

The central locking on my Micra had been making a noise which was not picked up when it went in to Glyn Hopkin Chelmsford for its second service this year and it had been bugging me ever since. So I decided that I would take it in to Glyn Hopkin Bishops Stortford. When I arrive at the service department I was greeted by a very pleasant receptionist who listened to what I told her about the problem with my car and told me she would take a look at it which she did immediately and came back to me with a diagnosis of the problem and said she would order the part and get me booked in for the work to be carried out. She asked me when it would suit me to come in and I told her the following Friday and I was booked in. I turned up on the Friday to find there had been some confusion and I had been booked in for the following Friday. The same receptionist said the part was in and that she would see if she could get it sorted out for me while I waited and to my great surprise that is exactly what she did. I have found that a level of customer service such as this is a difficult service to come by these days and I would like to say thank to this receptionist for exceeding my expectations with her level of professionalism.
Glyn Hopkin in Bishops Stortford is a complete joke. I viewed my qashqai over 5 months ago and I am still waiting for my warranty documents. I picked up my car and between viewing and pick up dates it had its rear light smashed, rear bumper damaged and window screen cracked!! They parked it up against a wall hoping I wouldn't notice. On route home the engine light came on!! I asked for a refund that they refused!! Since then the car has had to go back three times for repairs. Now this is how they repay me making me wait over 5 months for documents I should have received months ago. The manage Stuart Harrup just says admin keep losing the paperwork and that he has to reprocess (this has happened 3 or 4 times now) a complete joke!! No customer Service what so ever!! All they care about is selling the car not the aftercare. Would not recommend this company to anyone!!
