We have bought car from good motors, according to them everything was great with the car, we took the car for a pre-mot check, to find out some hidden faults... where do we start 1. engine wires bit threw by rats. 2. pan roof stops working a day later. 3. dash cam faulty causing the vehicle to beep every 5 second. 4. damaged tires to the point where you can see wires. 5. faulty breaks to the point where it feels like your trying to stop a lorry. The has been a on going war for them to repair the car as I do have warranty under it, they do not have a courtesy car, so I had to rent and pay with my own money, after a week I got a call telling me that the mechanic or so called mechanic, has drained the battery and lost access to the car which for me meant that I need to drive another 100 miles to give them my spare key, which again they would not pay for, the manager said he will cover the costs of pre-mot check which was £100 to diagnose the car, this was a month ago and yet I wait to receive thankfully he admitted he will pay this back via email, but when you call them guess what... he's never there, his name is Mr Shaqeel. STAY AWAY FROM THIS AS THEY ARE VERY NICE WHEN YOU FIRST COME BUT ARE VERY USELESS AND RUDE LATER DOWN THE LINE!!!!!

I bought a car from Good Motors. I asked before I bought it if it had been in a crash. They said no. It had been in a crash and poorly repaired. The light array brackets had snapped in the crash. The brackets were glued back in and the glue has failed, leaving the light loose and barely connected to the car. I emailed Good Motors to ask for a resolution to this and other issues I noticed. After numerous emails and many accusations coming my way they did not offer one resolution. They then replied to my Trust Pilot review saying to contact them to discuss a resolution. They appear to have no issues with lying.

purchased a car from this dealer, which was advertised as "HPI clear." However, upon further investigation, I discovered the car had a Category X history (stolen/recovered) and had once been sold at a salvage auction—none of which was disclosed at the time of purchase. Had I known this, I would never have bought the car. Fortunately, the car itself has no major damage affecting its safety or usability, but the undisclosed history has significantly impacted its market value. I’ve only received offers of around 40% of what I originally paid due to this record. When I contacted the dealer about the issue, the best resolution they offered was to buy the car back at a 25% discount. They maintain they’ve done nothing illegal, but I ask: Is this moral? I chose to buy from a dealer for the peace of mind and trust associated with purchasing from a business, but this experience has proven otherwise. In addition to the Category X history, there were several discrepancies in the information provided about the car, which I only discovered after travelling 5 hours to purchase it. The dealer stated the car had two previous owners, but I later discovered it actually had three. They also advertised the car as having keyless entry, which it does not, and failed to disclose that it came with only one key. The key fob provided was also faulty, with its battery draining every two weeks. While they claimed the car had been serviced, there was no service history logged in the dashboard. When I raised this, they sent me a receipt—created by them—stating the car had its oil and fluids changed and its brakes checked. The market is full of trustworthy dealers and quality cars. Don’t rush into a decision—take the time to find the right one. Look elsewhere.

Bought my car online with part exchange. The car was delivered to me next day a drive of over 220 miles. Delivery man was very pleasant, overall a smooth transaction. Because it was a 0 rated tax Good Motors had already taxed it for me.
I traveled 70 miles to buy a Ford Ka (NL18 JZJ) from Good Motors for £6,111. After a test drive, everything seemed okay. On the way home, the car began smoking from the engine - it turns out the engine coolant was empty. We then filled it with 2 litres of coolant so we could make it home. However, by morning, the coolant was gone, making the car broken and unroadworthy. I paid £285 to have it towed back to the dealer the next day for a refund under warranty. I clearly stated this in an email, verbally with 3 separate people on the telephone and now in a recorded delivery letter. Good Motors has so far responded with excuses like; "there's nothing wrong with it”, "we're short-staffed, we’ll call you back”, “the car is being checked over at the garage to see if there is a fault” (which the fact it had to be towed back should be clue enough), “we’ve fixed it and you are good to collect it”. It seems to me they are using diversion tactics and obfuscation to delay the inevitable legal right I have under the consumer rights act 2015. This has been a hugely stressful time for me and left me severely out of pocket in additional expenses and without the funds to buy a working car. I hope this review helps others make a more informed decision about the situation they could find themselves in if something goes wrong. A picture on the wall of this garage said “If we don’t look after the customer, someone else will”. This painful irony is not lost on me.

Car sold with a remap dpf removed adblue removed and gear box fault avoid this company ... they don't like to take responsibility for the cars they sell
good motors supply a good quality service with no pressure at all and the staff are pleasant
Definitely a no pressure deal. Couldn't fault the process, From initial phone call to arrange the viewing and test drive, to final purchase and collection. Dealt with Shaqeel for all parts of this process. Totally hassle free. I've left it a week before the review to ensure I had no issues. Took the car for a test drive with no pressure after it. Done the deal in a no pressure environment with open discussions regarding the car. Great communication throughout and basically can not but sing the praises of this garage enough. I'd have no hesitation of using these guys again.

You will get nice sugary talk when you call them to enquire about a vehicle and you will fall for their words to reserve a vehicle paying. When you tell them you don't like the vehicle or you don't want to take that vehicle and ask for the refund then you will see the real face , they will drag you and make you call and walk behind them to get our own money back. Am so glad that I didn't purchase the vehicle from good motors, never recommend
