I bought a brand new car VW CHESTER inchcape and on collection the paintwork was badly scratched all over from wrongly applied Gard x ...it was reported and the garage tried to polish it out but could not ....after an awful experience I paid for a specialist detailed to remove the gard x . The car then looked lovely despite the dealerships actions. Then the car went in for warranty work and were told NOT to wash as I have seen how they wash the cars compared with how they direct the customer to wash. Upon collection they had ignored the direction and washed the car and scratched the paintwork. After being asked to be a quote for repair They have refused to pay for the paintwork to be repaired ! Awful standard and awful service and a blatant refusal to provide requested documentation and names of those people responsible directly.
