I have recently bought a Z4 from Grant and Russ and was blown away by their helpful service. I needed to source a car during lockdown as a surprise birthday present for my husbands 50th and Grant was amazing. He gave me all the information I needed to make a difficult decision at a distance, with the reassurance of their warranty. They even delivered the car, managing to keep my secret, making the surprise even better and thanks to them it was all seamless! Thank you guys, I really truly appreciated all your help and I have one happy hubby!
Bought my car there in 2011, still got it 140,000 miles later. They were so good I bought a car for my brother in law a car there this year, another great car
Avoid Harlequin Motor Company! Was sold a vehicle in August 'with warranty' but have had to spend £2k on it and all items conveniently are not covered by any warranty. Dealer confirmed the car has extensive service history anf was owned by a 'friend' but when I arrived they could not produce paperwork and had handwritten some history into the book - strange. They had their story in check and seemed to be a reputable dealer based on online reviews so I did not make a big issue of it. Oh how wrong i was. Vehicle has broken down a few times now including a fuel pump issue, snapped belt and also had the gearbox fail on the car completely. Dealer initially accepted my calls when I raised an issue but has since washed their hands with me. I have had to do the following: Tracking/wheel alignment, camber/toe alternator belt and tensioner 6xcoil pack and spark plugs rocker cover gasket sump gasket 2 x engine mounts gearbox bushes gearbox connector sleeve, sump, seals replacement after the gearbox completely failed to select any gears and had to be towed away. The issues with the vehiclr are still ongoing. I am now £2,000 down since I purchased the car 2/3months ago.

Bought a 4x4 from Harlequin luckily with 3 months warranty, after two weeks the engine started making an awful racket, took it to my local garage who said to take it back as it was something major. I had to have the vehicle recovered back to Harlequin at my own cost of £250 After phoning almost every day after two weeks they said it was fixed and because of the distance from me would meet me halfway to bring it back. Well needless to say they didn't make it as it broke down again with them on the way. I then told them I wanted a full refund which Grant had to ok with the boss who conveniently was out of the office. Eventually after numerous phone calls got them to agree full refund. When the cheque arrived after another week of calling them it was for £200 less than the agreed amount. More phone calls and the boss said his salesman had agreed that amount with me because they had to do a few things to the vehicle which I part exed. As the part ex price was hardly good in the first place I definitely did not agree to take less. After threatening trading standards and bad reviews they eventually refunded the other £200. All in all I was well out of pocket and have been without a vehicle for two months. Very poor service!!!
Having just (within the last few weeks) picked a car up from Harlequin Motor Company. I have found that there are issues with it. The engine simply cuts out whilst I'm driving it. No warning. The engine just stops working. I have called them today to discuss this and was told that because of the price of the car there is no warranty. Even though it's shown on their website. I was offered the chance to take the car back to them to be looked at but since I am in Hereford and they are in Bristol and the car cannot be driven it's not really an option! The person I spoke to simply said " well it can't be too serious the previous owners had no problems " - not really a great response or particularly helpful. I don't really care what the previous owners thought of the vehicle- I am a single mum with a 4 year old. When this happened yesterday we were out on a busy road and very frightened. I cannot use the vehicle. However much I paid for the car is irrelevant. The fact is it's been sold to me under the proviso it's in working order and clearly it isn't. Edited. I have a mechanic looking at it as we speak and it's looking like the head gasket.
I bought a 4x4 from Harlequin Motor Company. The service was very good, we had a few niggles which was sorted. Grant the head salesman was very good and would recommend to anyone, great service.
What great service Grant and the team provide in the purchase of a new car from start to finish every little detail was seen too nothing was to much trouble for them . I have now bought many cars from Harlequin and that includes all members of my family what more trust can you have in any company than if you are prepared to recommend to ones own children
I bought my current Audi from the guys via first seeing it on their website. I arranged an appointment and went to see the car. I bought it quite quickly and haggled a bit. I like to at least get even a pound off. As with ANY used car, there will be problems and there were a few but they ALL got sorted and it was my mistake on missing an appointment with Audi main dealer that cost me but I want to be totally honest. The guys still have helped me even after my warranty expired. I got caught up in other stuff and missed the slot to take it into the main Audi place and it cost the garage the first hour so I can only apologise I've had to replace consumables such as tyres but that is something I expect in anycase. No garage that sells used cars will sell perfect examples but we buy in that understanding, at least I did All told, I have an Audi A3 that I could get my money back on if I sold today and I've only replaced 2 tyres and brake pads. If you don't expect a new car and are prepared to be a little patient then Grant and the guys will sort you out. Would I call then perfect, no way lol. I would say they are a decent bunch who rely strongly on word of mouth. They wouldn't be in business this long if they sold dodgy motors. It seems only the people who complain make reviews. I will be back there to buy my next, that should tell you all you need
