I wanted to buy a car but HCS trading wouldn’t take a deposit as my finance wasn’t in place at the time of viewing the car Dan was very helpful and has the clearest car I see going around the different dealerships
Went to look at a car with the full intention of buying it same day. Was spoken to like poo on the floor. Possibly the rudest sales person ever using sales person as a loose term. Never have I met a worse business man. Car not as described, damaged wheels not pictured on ad. No test drive allowed. Absolute joke.

Thank you for your review Its always nice to get constructive critasism from someone else in the motor trade I was unsure who was buying the car whether it was Josh, James or Hayley as there was 3 different people in the conversation and was extremely confusing phone calls, If you come with diagnostics and trade plates to inspect a vehicle we would class this as a trade sale. The lady on the phone Hayley did not want to proceed in this manor as she was not present and wanted to do everything remotely and the phone call from James owner of Barry Grewcock & Sons Ltd a commercial lorry dealer made no sense at all after listening to the recorded phone calls. Wow. Just wow. I called Dan to discuss a car and he just really triggers a person. I don't know whether it's anger, bitterness or social issues but he really has a challenge with anyone who wants a good deal on a car. Negotiation is an acceptable part of a deal but this guy appears to rate himself as above this. I actually felt myself getting so annoyed I actually swore - at which point he spat out "that these calls are recorded and you are not the type of person we want to buy this car". Never in my life have I been so wound up by someone I don't even know - I actually explained I had ADHD and I find it more challenging to communicate (because I couldn't believe I'd got wound up by some jumped up car salesman) and he said something akin to "to be honest I don't care what's wrong with you". It's like he feels he's made the second hand cars he's just bought to sell with his own fair hands! Dan, I hope you can sleep soundly after treating people with such disrespect and distain. I wish you all the luck in the future (feel free to vilify me in response as I care not as I now have a lovely TTS from a kind thoughtful dealer) - I hope you become a nicer a person because your life I imagine could be very lonely with that level of anger inside you. I'm sorry I told you where to go at the end of the call, I actually was angry and shocked at myself for getting so triggered by your nasty aggressive approach. I hope never to cross paths with this man again and hope the world makes him a kinder person.

Well it’s an experience if nothing else. Unfortunately it was one that cost me two hour of my life. From the first phone call I was met with hostility when I dared to ask what the actual mileage was on the car as it was misadvertised on auto trader. Not heeding the warning I went to look at the car. When we got there we were handed the keys and everything seemed ok. Till in my stupidity I dared to ask a question about the service history. I was again met with hostility and told to go to a Bmw dealership if I wanted one with FSH. This wasn’t what I’d asked I just wanted to see what history the car had. Anyway I got handed the receipts and everything looked ok. Then I asked the fatal question “can I take it for a test drive” with which I was met with “Are you going to buy it” to which I said “I wouldn’t buy a car without driving it” this ended this scene and we parted ways. Some advice for the owner. Hire somone front of house with social skills. Or maybe move into the business of selling things that don’t have the main functional purpose of them being to move or transport people so they don’t ask you to show them moving or transporting people.

Mr Ray Carry Thank you for your helpful review Picture 29 on the advert is of the instrument cluster with the exact mileage. When coming to view a car that is £2500 below the recommended retail on Autotrader you have to be realistic with your expectations, and from the phone call and the questions you asked we did not have what you wanted so I directed you to the BMW main agent who will have exactly what you are looking for but you will have to pay a lot more money for it and we had exactly the same conversation when you came into the site. When I went along to HCS Trading I was so shocked by there approach and straight honest talking on the telephone and when I turned up the car was exactly as described immaculate with full main dealer service history, and 1 owner, how Daniel sourced the car is unbelievable. When I went into my local Audi main dealer they said there are no cars available as there is a shortage of cars, but a quick search on Autotrader I found this car 200miles away and it was well worth the trip.
