I am always wary when purchasing a car. No need to be apprehensive when buying from Hemmaway Car Sales as everything is up front and the whole transaction is made easy. Within the space of an hour I was driving away confident in the knowledge that I had purchased from an honest dealer who went out of his way to ensure that I was fully happy with everything. We asked Dean at Hemmaway Car Sales to look out for a second hand left hand drive car for us as we wanted to travel around France and Spain without hiring a car and wanted an older left hand drive car for ease of driving and to use as a second car in the UK. Dean found us a little gem in a few weeks. Last year we travelled around France, but this year we drove to Spain, via France for 8 weeks and came home via Santander. We did over 3,000 miles with no problem at all. We had a fantastic adventure, which we wouldn't have done if we hadn't found our car, which we call Renee. Dean made us feel totally at ease and we trusted him completely. We are so pleased with our great little 14 year old car. Found Dean totally trustworthy and gave us all the information on the car we wanted. Would certainly recommend this lovely family business.

I have recently bought a 10 year old car found salesman to be very friendly helpful and not pushy vehicle was as described clean tidy for its age unfortunately after a few days I was concerned that there was some issues and had it inspected by another garage and a few problems were found however most are age related and can be left for now but it has got to go in for one issue to be repaired as it could be unsafe to drive I would recommend to anyone buying a used car to have it inspected first before buying I did not and I now have to pay to put it right

Thanks for your review, We welcome any inspection on our cars prior to purchase and alway MOT and service our cars prior to delivery. Age related issues we are unable to prevent however always offer independent warranty’s on our cars.
I think buying a second hand car is a minefield in Peterborough and the surrounding area's, we looked at some cars in places I just couldn't get out of quick enough, I then stumbled on this little garage near whittlesey and was taken back by the nice cars and service, its a small family business and we met mum and dad when collecting our car on Saturday. Everything just felt right and put me at ease here, its nothing special just a nice little garage which looks nice, most of the cars are low miles andhave service history, ours had 34,000 miles and was a 2009, very happy overall Thanks
