I arranged to test drive a vehicle giving a weeks notice. When I arrived at HPL Motors in Oldham the car had been washed externally but very dirty on the inside with mud in the boot and shoe scuff marks on the rear or the seats. Also the car had done more than 5,000 miles than was advertised. A potential sale lost!

Bought a Seat Leon from this car dealer in Oldham. The condition of the car was good compared to four others I drove with other dealers. I have a lot of experience as a mechanic so before buying I looked into the engine compartment. The car was due for a service. I marked the old oil filter, looked at the coolant , both needed replacing. I also saw the front tyres were illegal. We struck a deal and I got offered the best price for my old car (couldn't be bothered to prep it myself for auction), On pick up of the new car I expected further hassle BUT the front tyres were new, fluids and filters had been done. Smart service by the mechanics there. The sales team were pushy but you expect that. Having said that as a bonus they threw in 5 litres of petrol AND a free dust cap that the mechanic had missed) at the end. I would buy again from HPL Motors Oldham. All in all a good value/fair car..
