Terrible after sales service John the owner in my opinion is rude unhelpful and arrogant
Craig Beresford in response to Terrible after sales service
Yep couldn’t agreed more just been there to buy a 125 for my son cash in hand 4K and got totally ignored and when I got someone’s attention they replied not got none and that was it Wigan Yamaha so helpful and prepared to talk to you and even order one for you winner
If you're looking for a new bike give these guys a call. Just had my cb1000r delivered to Fife, Scotland. If I could give them 6 stars I would, absolutely delighted with the bike and the service. From my first call to John on a Sunday morning (he took my call even though they were shut) to receiving my brand new bike just 4 days later, the customer service has been 1st class. THE DEAL WAS OVER £1000 BETTER THAN MY LOCAL HONDA DEALER! I've been in car sales for over 25 years and I could not have done any better had I sold the bike to myself. Many thanks to John, Scott, Demi and Gary.
cbr650r brand new delivered 01/03/2019. came with damage, was assured will be fixed. took bike for 1st service paid for cotton bobbins and labour, numerous other issues. confirmed all complete time of delivery, they lied. not done. Spoke with John (director) who promised it will be done, after numerous emails nothing as of yet has been done, full of promises. they fitted oxford (recommended by hunts, better than honda they said) very poorly fitted, started coming off. whilst riding the bar end came flying off causing damage to another bike. JOHN afreed to get all done and messed me around for this length of time as he knows that i lose the right to return or nullify my finance agreement unless complained to finance within one month. I would keep away from Hunts Motorcycles. go Rochdale, or Wigan! now i have to involve solicitors!
I cannot recommend Hunts Motorcycles enough. They are a 1st Class business to buy a bike with confidence from I did the whole deal on the phone and via one email and was a little apprehensive not seeing the bike in the flesh. My concerns were unessesary as when the delivery arrived I was absolutely delighted with what I saw. Everything John had sold me was there, perfect. It’s great but rare to find such ease and trust in the motor trade these days but Hunts defiantly go that extra mile. Thanks John, much appreciated. Regards Gary.
Having travelled for an hour and a half to reach Hunts Motorcycles, and they were expecting me, I thought I would at least get a hello when I walked in. Sadly no. Ignored by three members of staff (recognised them from the website pictures) I made my own enquiries. Not a good start. Then I was looked up and down a little suspiciously, which I thought odd at the time. Hello sir, how was the trip? Did you get wet, would you like a cup of tea? You're bang on time, we've been expecting you... Don't be daft, none of that conversation took place. I was shown the demonstrator but not told that it was a slightly older/different spec. Test route consisted of roadworks and 50mph limit, but I liked the bike and headed back prepared to do a deal. It was just what I was looking for. When I got back I was challenged as to whom I had bought my bike off and was it HPI checked! It's the wrong colour I was told. "Is it? And yes it was HPI checked" was my response. They checked it anyway and then informed me that it was HPI cleared. Nice one, that's how you get a sale. So, feeling like a criminal I sat there whilst I was offered a fairly low figure for my pride and joy that had just been rubbished by the salesman to the nth degree. I was still looking to do a deal as I had a second , newer bike, that I could have traded in. But WHY ON EARTH would I trade it in here after this treatment? So, for the price of a cup of tea, good manners and some lessons in how to let someone down gently when they realise that someone has re-sprayed the panels on their bike and they don't match, YOU lost a sale, not to mention future sales as I change my bikes at least every 18 months. Avoid if you are looking for quality customer service, go there If you don't care and are happy to hand over your hard earned money and be treated like a criminal.
took my bike to have valve clearances done, couple of days after getting bike back noticed two chips on tank, engines fine, i guess they checked the clearances. had email from honda told them would be happy to have hunts ring but they never did. don't think you should have to check your bike over after going into garage but it seems you have to, beware of them
Hunts Motorcycles- What a fantastic company, just took delivery of my new Africa Twin and from start to finish Hunts motorcycles have look after my every requirement. Buying a bike without seeing it is always difficult, but John and his team were fantastic. Living nearly 150 miles away was no issue and with Dave delivering free of charge bang on time was testament to this very well run company. Don't hesitate if your thinking of buying from Hunts like me you will not be disappointed , just wished I lived nearer. Thanks guys Great British Service at its best !
Poor service. I feel like because I didn't take out the finance through them directly they didn't treat me like a proper customer. Some of the staff were alright but I wont be returning to the dealership. I also noticed that they wrote down all of my card details on the paperwork which means its all recorded on their copy which I'm concerned about. Would not recommend Hunts Motorcycles.
John smith in response to Feel singled out for not having finance through them
Writing down card numbers is something that happens here regularly. Be aware
I bought a motorcycle from this dealership. The bike was supposed to be delivered with additional parts but not all turned up. Months later I have received one other part but some remain outstanding. They tell me they are sorting it but Hunts Motorcycles really need to improve their after sales service.
Great group of guys with an excellent range of bikes, the bike a bought was a step up speed wise and they gave me some excellent advice on the best places to take it in the area to get a feel for it. Hunts Motorcycles are definitely a good place to buy a bike, they really know their bikes.
