I have recently bought my second car from Ian, after buying a car 3 years ago I was only going to one place to get my next car!! IWE motors are a really friendly family run car dealership. Nothing was ever a problem with no hesitation to help out in any which way they can. The presentation of all there cars is fantastic. Thank you Ian yet again for making buying a car a pleasure

I bought a Audi a3 from IWE Motors about 5 months ago, right from the drive home i had a steering wheel shake and a judder on idle, neither have been resolved from the tracking or balance just found other issues like snapped engine mount, needed a new coil pack and plugs, constantly messed around taking days off work going to a garage who kept telling me the car is a1 which it isnt. so i booked it into AUDI who found another problem with the car a defective intake valve which has made the car much more responsive which 2 of his garages couldn't find, all in all the car is a dog, still got the steering shake and judder on idle, now onto the MOT 5 months down the line since paying Exhaust badly corroded, rear suspension generally corroded and disks and pads are at a low limit, think again before buying from here, no contact to check on progress with myself car cost me more then retail due to thinking i had comeback car is a piece of rubbish and will be sorting out legal advice to recover my costs, dealer should thoroughly check his cars before selling them feel completely ripped off! So contrary to the good reviews this is my bad experience here. Never again.

I think it’s quite just that the singular bad review was contradicted by other people defending IWE motors. I can also happily say that although they are not the typical dealership with salesman ready to pounce, what they are is a fantastic family run business who make you feel very at ease, with no pressure to buy but with the benefits you expect from buying from a dealer, namely. after-sales service. We brought a lovely looking Aldi A3 with low mileage and great service history. Unfortunately, after a routine visit to my local garage they discovered a fault which I had rectified. I rang Eila from IWE Motors who was very friendly and understanding refunding us the same day without a quibble. Goes without saying, this would not have been the case had it been a private sale. I would have no hesitation in recommending IWE Motors and would use again in the future. Sean and Niki

Roll on 6 months and I have seen a different side to IWE Motors meaning I would not seek to use them again for my next car and would discourage other people doing the same unless they took adequate insurancein by for example taking out an extended warranty. My partner and I are your everyday hard-working couple who needed to borrow the majority of the £7000 needed to purchase this car. It was well presented on the drive of their lovely (to us) mansion size house overlooking a vast selection of well presented cars included a Bentley. We brought the car in good faith and were very happy with our Audi initially. Eila was very friendly and I'm told Ian is too although surprisingly he di not introduce himself whilst we were there. After only a month, the car started developing issues. O2 sensor which made the car go into limp mode. A sensor + cap + new leads were fitted and for a month or two the car seemed ok (if not a bit flat). Having never driven a 1.6 Audi we had no point of comparison. The engine management light came on again with another o2 sensor fault. This time, we had to have the catalytic converter fitted. A few months and the engine management light came on again. The fault has been diagnosed and it now been confirmed, using the history of past faults that there is an integral engine problem which has effectively compromised / damaged the car and would have been resident at the point of purchase thus causing side effect issues like the sensors / cat converter. I sought professional advice and sent a standard "Which" email to Eila requesting a refund for the purchase giving the standard 14 days in which to make a reply. A week later I politely contacted her (have never spoken to Ian post sale) and explained how upsetting the experience was and that the car was not fit for purpose. To-date, we have not heard anything. Considering out situation, I'm staggered that Ian has not even had the decency to call to understand our situation, to offer a solution!!, an apology!! The point in buying a car from a dealer is supposedly having the peace of mind that if something (god forbid) does go wrong, you have an avenue in which to get help. The fact that Eila and Ian operate from their lovely house never bothered me, the fact that they have decided to "hope we go away!" disgusts me. No doubt, the IWE followers will jump to their defence but I speak only from the heart and I'm only speaking the truth as I see it. We have been left with a shell of a Audi which will cost £1,000+ having only brought it 6 months ago with a serious engine fault..... Very upset and disappointed...…..
I travelled from Ireland to purchase a VW golf from Ian - Excellent service and very helpful. Delighted when i saw the car must admit i was a little nervous with the drama of all the travel etc but IWE described the car 100%. I've done over 30k miles since without an issue.
Really pleased with IWE Motors they are a Very pleasant family runned business. Its been a pleasure doing business with you and will be doing business agian in the near future! Thanks again
