I bought a vehicle there. A flawless 5-year-old vehicle in 100 percent condition. The sales dealer are friendly, the after-sales service is also very friendly. A satisfied customer, I have only one small complaint, that the administrative fee is paid extra, which increases the price of the vehicle. I think that such fees should already be included in the price, especially if you buy the car in cash. If I ever have to buy a vehicle again, I know where I'll go.

I would rate my experience with Junction 17 at a 3. The car I went to view seemed quite tatty and not as clean as I would expect from a car sales company. I then saw a car similar for sale outside which wasn't prepped but was in better condition apart from a cracked front grill on the passenger side. I did test drive it and liked it. I then spoke to the sales assistant to purchase the car. The manager kindly came out and took the car away and cleaned it for me which was a nice touch and thanked me for the purchase. On a one to one basis with the sales assistant, I felt he lacked enthusiasm and really didn't want to be at work, in my opinion. On asking questions about the vehicle I felt like I was 'putting him out' aswell. He was polite though with me. With spending nearly £14,700 on a car, I would have expected the gearbox oil and filter to have been changed or adjusted in the price of purchase so I could have the work done myself as this is due between 3-5 years and the car was nearly 7 years old with No record of this being done. Also similar with the Cam belt and Waterpump change- no record of this work! I was told you don't deal with the servicing aspect of the sale.... I now have to foot the bill for this work for price of mind whilst also purchasing 12 month warranty from you. Overall, my honest opinion is that the service was ok with nothing to write home about unfortunately. I do like the car though.

The car has been alright, but I still haven't received the V5 yet. The service was fine on the day and the showroom was very well presented.

The outcome with Junction 17 was good. There were some issues, but in the end they sorted everything out for me, and I am pleased with the car and have had no further issues since. When I was initially viewing and test driving the car, the battery was dead, so they charged it up so I could view and test drive it. I was told that before I took the car away, the battery would be replaced. However, when I got the car home, the battery died. I called up and was told to bring the car back. Obviously, I could not do that as the car was dead. So they came out, charged the car, drove it back to Junction 17, replaced the battery, reprogrammed the car, and delivered it back to me. They were really quick to do this, and all the staff I dealt with were pleasant and polite. I do just have to knock a point, as this could have been avoided in the first instance.

I had an amazing experience today part exchanging my car and purchasing a new one. I have had my eyes on a specific car for a while and today was the day I drove away in it! I was welcomed by Alberto who looked after everything on the day. Super friendly and professional guy who I would recommend to every single person who comes to Junction 17. Truly 5 star service from him. From coffee and refreshments to talking all things cars, we must be long lost friends! That’s how he made me feel :) I was a little concerned with how the day would go but all I have done since leaving in the new car is smile. A seamless, calm and comfortable environment all down to Alberto! If anyone needs a new car you know where to go and who to call. Smooth purchase experience. Friendly and helpful staff. All my queries were answered before I came down to see the car (spoke with Tish, Jamie and Phil) I appreciated that J17 paid to put me up at The Bull overnight as I was travelling from Scotland. I had a nice stay there ( a discount on the car would have capped off the whole experience but you can't have everything ) Phil was my main contact and he was very efficient with all the paperwork and I was driving home with a big grin on my face in no time at all.

I first enquired about a car week commencing 18/08/25 and then agreed on 22/08/25 that I would head up from where I live (3hrs 20minutes) away on 29/08/25. At this point I asked if that was enough time to have the vehicle prepped and mot’d as I’d be coming up with a trailer to take the car away. My appointment was booked for 11am. Before I arrived I had a call from the sales person Alberto saying my handover would be pushed back by 30mins. Which is fine I didn’t mind waiting and I was only 20 minutes away anyway when he called me. Upon arrival at the dealership the car was not in the showroom or on the forecourt. Alberto said it was still in the workshop and was on its way over within 20minutes. It never arrived in the showroom. I was consistently told it would be another 20minutes then another half hour etc. 3 hours had gone by and I hadn’t even seen the car. Alberto then took me to the workshop where the car was sat on the ramp with the OSF hub assembly, shock absorber and brakes were all off the car and at that point I was told they were waiting for a part that wouldn’t arrive until Saturday 30/08/25 at 0830hrs. It hadn’t been valeted or cleaned. I was unable to test drive or even start the car. Because of all this I asked if the preparation fee would be waived from the sale price as it was not prepared in the slightest and was not ready to even view or test drive let alone take home. But this was declined which is absurd as I’m not sure what I paid for ‘preparation’ wise. Alberto managed to get an agreement to have it delivered at their cost which really was the least that could be done. Alberto also said they would sort out the NSR wheel as it had bad curbing and lacquer peel. But this was not done upon seeing the car once it was delivered to me. So I will have to pay someone else to sort that. I headed home after not being able to test drive the car and all that had gone on which took me over 4 hours and I had paid for the car in full before leaving. The car was delivered and it is the car we wanted and I would not want to return it because the spec and colour is very rare so it wasn’t a case of letting it go for me. But it did have a whirring noise from the OSF wheel area which is likely a wheel bearing and a knocking noise from the NSF wheel area likely to be a lower arm or ARB drop link. Not sure how these issues would not have been picked up on the MOT or by the pre delivery inspection process. But I’d rather just repair it myself. All in all a terrible experience unfortunately. Just to add there was also another customer in there who was also waiting hours for a car from the workshop that never arrived. The sales team kept assuring us both that this never happens but it made it hard to believe that when two of us on site were going through the same thing.
