Just purchased a my second car from Kingslake Cars, excellent sales team and so far the aftercare has been great. Had a minor issue with Cd player (not covered by warranty) they offered to replace with a new one. Can't recommend these guys enough. A rare find in this cut throat world. Oh and they also fitted isofix free of charge!

Would be extremely cautious buying from Kingslake Cars. There is no comeback on faults. Bought a car in feb. £1895. No negotiation on price as all cars. Are “priced to sell” as they don’t sell “duff cars “ really now?! Went to use air conditioning in June for the first time , as and it was very hot weather. The air came out warm. Took it to get re gassed elsewhere, was told it couldn’t be done as there is a leak in the air conditioning system. But they also picked up multiple other failures on the car including breaks completely worn, and pitted, tyres completely illegal, exhaust blowing. Estimated cost along with new air conditioning unit £1000. I’ve done 1500 miles since having the car. Called up kings cars to be told, I’ve had it four months, my problem. I was told when I paid that if there were any issues just call them back, as they don’t want unhappy customers. What a joke! Not sure what I could have done to cause a leak in the air conditioning. And breaks after 1500 motorway miles! !

Firstly may we begin by expressing our sincerest regret that you have experienced an issue with your air conditioning system. We have reviewed our technicians report on the vehicle when pre-delivery inspected back in February when you purchased the vehicle, and can confirm that the air conditioning system was functional at point of purchase. We have then only been informed of any possible fault from yourself in early July. However we understand that a variety circumstances that may occur over the course of 5 months , such as stones and debris damaging the condenser, can very commonly cause a leak of A/C gas. As previously stated in your phone conversation with our staff member, we would be happy to inspect the vehicle. In response to the claims regarding the condition of the brakes, tyres and exhaust, once again this does not configure with our technician’s pre-delivery report of the vehicle back in February, however once again we have stated clearly during your phone conversation that we would be happy to inspect the vehicle, openly and transparently in your presence, to identify any issues raised. During the course of your phone call with our staff member, you were offered on three occasions to arrange a booking so that we may be given an opportunity to inspect and rectify these issues, however you refused each time. We completely understand that you live 15 miles from us and appreciate any inconvenience that this may cause, however, we have courtesy cars available for you and are willing to work around your schedule to suit you as best possible. This was also expressed to you during your phone conversation. We completely dispute the claims made within your review that “there is no comeback on faults” and that you were told “you’ve had it for four months so it’s your problem”. We have the conversation with our staff member recorded and can categorically state and prove that not only was this at no point said to you, but that he was polite, courteous and attempting to help you throughout the conversation. We completely appreciate your situation as a single full time working mum, however we question the garage’s motives that has provided you with the condition report and as such offer to you for a fourth time, to allow us the opportunity to inspect and if necessary rectify any faults.

We have had 2 cars from this great company. They do as they say, no pressure to buy but a friendly team who put you at your ease. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else and would highly recommend S Boyes

I bought a Passat from here back in July. The car was very nice and clean and in good condition but I have had some issues with the DVF filter which the warranty doesn't cover. I feel like the DVF warning light may have been reset before I bought the car. I wouldn't recommend this dealership.

I have been using Kingslake cars for six years I have just purchased my third car from them and my father has also bought a car from them. Their personal customer service is amazing and the cars have been good value and reliable too. The support in arranging finance and after care service in organising repairs, services and MOTs is fantastic . I cannot recommend them highly enough if you want a second hand car in the Romsey, north baddesley area then Nick, Adam and the team will look after you
