We purchased a Range Rover from this dealer and were told it came with 3 months warranty. There was no paperwork for the warranty but we were assured we only had to contact Lancashire Sports and anything would be sorted. We tried to contact them after a few days regarding an engine management system failure but could not get any reply. We remembered that they told us that Lancashire Sports was merging with the Phantom Motor Company just over the road. This seemed plausible as the signs and decoration of both premises were exactly the same style, and when we collected our car many of the vehicles we had seen for sale at Phantom were now on the Lancashire Sports Site. However upon contacting Phantom the proprietor said no they were not merging and Lancashire Sports had been liquidated.There appears to be something fishy here and Manchester Trading Standards have indicated they will investigate both companies. Unfortunately as we trusted Lewis we are now left with a Range Rover with several problems which we will have to pick up the bills for when they should have been covered by the promised “warranty”. I would warn people to not buy from this outfit.

I am also having trouble getting my car fixed. From day 3 of having the car I have been fobbed off. The breaks have been failing with my girlfriend driving whilst my 2 children were in and I made them aware of this. Yesterday they was meant to pick my car up after being told 3 times that someone had set off but no one arrived. I just want my car fixing but me to will be contacting Wigan trading standards. Definitely advise against either of these. I have found out that Lancashire sports are still selling stock but only on pistonheads
Recently bought a Mercedes c class from Lancashire sports and within 20miles of driving home it overheated and died it turned put the sales man had left the cap off the coolant resovoir when he was topping it up. They left me to deal with the issue alone at 1745 on a Friday evening on a motorway in rushhour. Had the car towed back the next day and after a discussion 2 days later I agreed to have the car fixed and take it back..... 10 days later and after very little communication the car was apparently ready to be derived ( text message to say afternoon and an email that stated morning). I lost all faith in the car and the dealership which was not just due to the appealing after car and customer service but also the fact that the car was advertised as having amg alloys and in reality they were after market alloys with a cheap plastic amg sticker on them that was hanging off and also the car didnt have any service history with it even though it was advertised as having full history with it. All in all to many problems, issues and false promises I had to reject the car. Seriously beware,

We bought a Landrover Discovery from Lancashire Sports which was a good price in comparison with other car dealerships. Their customer service and after sales service is outstanding and we cannot recommend them highly enough! Initially the car had a problem with the air suspension which took the garage, where it was sent, a few attempts to rectify it. Nothing was too much trouble for Lancashire Sports and each time the car went in they gave us a curtesy car. The staff are friendly, down-to-earth, honest and accommodating and our special thanks go to Danny, Simon and Kayleigh. We are more than pleased with our purchase and they will be our first point of contact when looking for a car in the future!
Honestly from start to finish this garage have been 100% helpful with my purchase. I could not ask for any more. Hassle free way to buy, left to my own devices in the showroom, there for any questions I had. Slight issue a few days into owning the vehicle, but sorted straight away. Thanks Simon and Lewis, I look forward to seeing you in the near future for my wifes car.

I was really not too happy when I received my Honda Civic from Lancashire Sports. I had travelled across the county for it and it wasn't clean and was in pretty poor condition. I have had a few issues with it as well which only some of have been resolved. Overall I would not recommend this dealership. I don't think the car is worth what I paid for it.
