Fantastic outfit recommend!!! Absolutely brilliant , we travelled up from Essex , we stayed overnight and the vehicles were exactly what had been advertised and they were very friendly and helpful kept the van for me as agreed even though they had other offers locally , we’ve kept their numbers for reference for buying cars or vans in the future would totally recommend them , Even called to see if we got back safely to Essex. Thank you

I can confirm no email has been received from yourself either during the lockdown period or whilst we have been open. I have checked for possible IT faults in retrieving electronic communication and there is no fault. Simply no email was received. You could of always telephoned during opening times but again we received no such call of this nature. After 27 years in business with returning customers time after time, our faultless customer service speaks for itself. I am sorry you felt the need to write this review when a) you didn’t meet myself or staff in person b) speak with myself or staff and c) never purchased a car from LINTHORPE MOTORS I sincerely wish you all the very best in finding your next vehicle and it is a shame we was unable to deal with you.
A very friendly family run company, you feel they are passionate about the cars they sell & want to give value for money. I was prepared to travel up 100 miles to find the specific car I wanted & had three to see when I headed north up to Middlesborough from West Yorkshire to see the first one at Linthorpe Motors. Brian & Frank were so friendly & obliging with no hint of a hard sell in fact the opposite. The like new appearance of the BMW, looking even better in the flesh than it did in Auto trader plus a fun test drive made the decision to buy a no brainer. A big thanks to Brian & Frank for providing a great buying experience.

I bought a car from Linthorpe Motors that supposedly had full service history and clear MOT. However, I was not told that the engine had been taken out and reinstalled. Running my car for less than 100 miles the engine failed and had to rebuilt it - it was then when my mechanic told me that the engine must have been rebuilt in the past. All in all, I ended up paying 5k for the eventual replacement of the entire engine! It goes without saying I will never buy again form them and definitely not recommend Linthorpe Motors.

I have just seen this review. Please provide further details Your name, date of purchase, car Reg. I can assure you-that if you had done only 100 miles and this problem occurred you would of contacted LINTHORPE MOTORS straight away.. which you clearly didn’t. £5000 to replace,.I am unsure if you mean the engine or the car ! We take any valid complaint very seriously hence why we have been in business 27 years and the majority of customers are returning customers or from recommendations via these customers.
5 star review, EXCELLENT !!! The team at Linthorpe Motors are genuine, fair, honest and reliable just like the car they sold me over 6 months ago. Great price, super clean little car. Brian and Alan are older and wiser, great combined knowledge. Much better and not pushy as the main dealership / large garages. I will be back when I want a new car. Thanks and keep up the good work

All I was trying to do is buy a car, is it to much to ask for a bit of customer care and interest. After numerous attempts to arrange a test drive and going out of my busy schedule, the guy doesn't bother to turn up! Don't bother with this garage they won't be bothered about you.

Ditto, went in saw a car which looked nice (tbh the cars were very well presented) asked if I could test drive it they said come back monday. I said cant make it monday he shrugged and said ok. I said can you just open the big door and Ill drive out, he said no, I asked why he said no. I went and bought a car from down the road, they're 5 grand better off tonight.
5 Stars all round, excellent service. the whole process was very quick and easy. I purchased a Kia Soul in May and I am super happy with it, I have had no issues what so ever. I would happily recommend this dealership.
