My Wife has an F-Pace. Leased from Lookers. Lease has finished so she has refinaced with JLR as she loves the car. The car however has broken down and was recovered to our local garage who has diagnosed the fault as a DC Converter failure. Lookers at Bishop Stortford have stated is a back order part not available to at least 7th Feb'. Its the 7th Jan today, so a full month away. I spoke to Lookers BS, and when i explained that my wife needs a car and that their unavailable parts shouldnt be our problem, the actual response was - its also not our problem either. So if you want you can speak directly to Landrover as it has nothing to do with Lookers BS. So i spoke to Landrover who were appauled at the Lookers BS response and asked that i call them back to explain that i would be dropping the car off with them and that once on their system, if the part was on back order that Landrover would then provide a hire car for the duration of the work whilst we waited, but this was the process we had to follow. The lady i then spoke to at Lookers BS stated that regardless of what we do, it would be a least a week before they would look at the car and a hire car wasnt guarenteed. So i went back to Landrover who again stated that this wasnt correct and that Lookers BS shouldnt be making statements like this, that Landrover would then escalate this directly and get my wife into a hire car straight away, that in order to create the case that i needed to speak to another dept, so put me through. The phone rang for 20 minutes and then disconnected. When i phoned back the out of hours service stated that the lines were now closed at 4.45pm - even though it is only 3.45.... In the mean time my wife has also phoned Hatfield Jaguar who simply said, although its a pain, get the car to us asap, we will diagnose asap and get you into a hire car straight away. So, for any one out there who cares - pls stay well away from Lookers.... they are the ruddest bunch of 'do not give a toss' people you should ever hope to meet. I love the landrover product and have several myself, its simply a shame they place their reputation and business in the hands of such people. They do not care and they should not be charged with being the customer face of any organisation other than Putin.
Where do I begin?! This dealership has failed on every front. I can't get the service completed on my car as Lookers will not return my calls, emails etc to get booked in. It is impossible to get a loner car. Sales do not follow up when enquiring about a new car and a test drive. I have contacted lookers including the Lookers Customer Service & Complaint Resolution Team who did not reply either! I have cancelled my service package and will not be buying a new car from them. Avoid like the plague.
I would avoid using Land River Bishops Stortford for any further purchase. In summary, they are poor communicators, admin is atrocious and meant signing multiple versions of the same form, the online reservation fee still hasn’t been refunded over a month later. You get fobbed off with one excuse after another when it’s quite clear that they just can’t manage the basics

Rude and unprofessional They hold my car unnecessarily for a while to justify the charges. They failed to match and provide me a curtesy car. Receptionist over the phone line said, “” that’s how we operate and we can not guarantee to give you car when your car breaks down””. This is how ends up when private companies operate as they wish. The person who is in charge to repair my car said that technician worked only 4 hours on my car during whole week. I believe they lied and they have not done anything rather than Land Rover road assistance recovery report which I gave them. I called Land Rover headquarters and raised the case and I am preparing to raise my complaint to ombudsman as well. Whole experience is disaster and absolutely poor. They are not honest with what they say over the phone and they just want to say some thing quickly and get rid of your call. This was my first experience having Land Rover entire my life as I am Merc fan. I think I did wrong thing that I switched my car brand. Receptionist also said over the phone if I am not happy with service I can collect my car and take some where else. I asked them to give my voice call record and I will inform media about this experience.

Appalled by if any customer service Iv asked over 3 weeks so far a member of management to contact me or CEO and nothing? My car was 6 days old then warning light and charging system fault detected light came on and it’s been ongoing and never left the garage I’m still paying for this car Waited 5 days for a courtesy car Waited over 2 years for a velour Range Rover And Iv been in tears with frustration of being just left and palmed off! What a disappointment

Terrible Cars. Massively problematic cars. Voted the most unreliable car, Constantly needing repairs. Same things keep breaking time and time again. Dealer doesnt return your call, Unless you owe them money. Land rovers just wants to take as much money as possle from you. So many land rover owners regret ever buying a land rover. Google it for your self DO NOT BUY A LANDROVER,
I have an appointment booked for Tuesday 30th for an oil change and to insert my new data sim card - the attempted fleecing has already started - £186/hour for an "systems diagnostic check" before even trying to simply install the new sim card, plus £186 for a change of keeper, plus £372 for a map update - all within warranty period - I suspect there will be an entry charge and £20 for a cup of coffee - a very disturbing start, which, I suspect, will be my last if this price gouging continues.

I purchased a Jaguar F type online for delivery on 27April/2022. The car was never delivered. During delivery they phoned me and said a warning light came on. It was then returned back to the dealer. I was unable to find out the problem with car, then on the 12/May/2022 the dealer salesman agreed to refund me. I still NOT received any refund,!. I will be taking legal advice after Saturday 09/July/2022 I have still, never found out the problem with the car?
Vehicle submitted for service and Warranty repair 22nd Sept. Almost three years old but only 8725 miles. Spare tyre pressure warning light on dash. Spare tyre monitor required recalibrating. Dealer, renowned in the area for poor service where customers are an inconvenience, insists on charging £93 for repairing this fault. Lost proxy appeal to Service Manager who wouldn’t speak to me. This is my twelfth new Discovery and Lookers still don’t understand why I buy them from Marshalls rather than Lookers.
Service booking made about a month ago (for first available date). On the day tried to call to confirm the time. No answer from Lookers. Decided to go around at 9am as remembered that being the time. At Lookers no record of appointment was found. They wanted to know who had taken the booking - hard to remember after a month. It seems since we could not find a booking confirmation the fault was ours. Bookings confirmed on the phone are not valid. This is not the first time there has been a problem with phones not being answered either. Last time I mentioned it the retort was:' We've been here all the time'. Perhaps - but clearly not answering the phone. Will now give Hatfield a try - let's see if they can do better.

We have been buying cars from lookers bishop Storford for over 3 years and they have always been amazing. The staff there are lovely and helpful. Staff are always trying to do the best they can for you and make sure your experience with them is the best it can be. We have had over 5 cars with them and they have all been top quality with no faults. I would not recommend going anywhere else then here.
Bought a used Range Rover with relatively low mileage and assured it was in perfect condition and had been put through their multi point inspection. Collected the car and started our journey home..... the car wobbled all over the road, gearbox was clunky, strange noises from the back axle, brakes didn’t work as they should, steering was very heavy so I contacted the dealership as soon as I got home. A few days later they came to collect and it’s been a nightmare for 6 months since. Buckled wheels, distorted hubs and discs, failed Dash screen, electrical problems galore, Gearbox, transfer box, suspension, dropped door.... yes, all discovered on the journey home and despite being back to the dealership 6 times, the last time they delivered it back, still with many of the issues remaining, someone had obviously left the door open in the rain and the drivers door card is completely stained and ruined. They continuously use many excuses to list but every time the car comes back, it still has most of the old Issues and always a few new ones. In 6 months, the dealership has had the car at their workshop for over 4 months, Having to now go through Land Rover to get my money back as the dealership treat their customers terribly.

Be wary of the 5year service plan . They will find a way to void the 5th year service via either mileage restriction or time bar despite service indicator only just coming up

My wife and I both bought Freelanders from Lookers Land Rover Bishops Stortford around six years ago. From the beginning, Dayle, the gentleman we were dealing with, was the best I’ve come across, helpful, knowledgeable, everything you’d expect from a proffessional. The service department were less so. A series of issues were eventually sorted and, a year ago, our Freelanders were swapped for Discovery Sports. Again, Dayle was so easy to deal with. Unfortunately, the overall competence and customer service levels from Service has continued to leave a lot to be desired, it has, in fact, deteriorated. I have just come off the ‘phone having changed both service plans to another Land Rover service Centre. We are both thoroughly fed up with having to have protracted discussions every time a vehicle is at Lookers for work. Would I buy another car from them? Quite possibly, Would I have it serviced / maintained there? No

My car has been in this garage 5 times in 7 months, never fix first time the issue and they never call back when they promise. Car was in for brakes, Said they would order and call within two weeks, been two months heard nothing! Heard from others in the waiting room that they try very hard to palm you off and avoid sorting issues under warranty, have to say this appears to be true from my experiences. Nightmare dealership, leave well alone and go elsewhere.
Went to buy car on part exchange from Lookers in Bishops Stortford, they added additional £1,500 extras they had previously told were part of price, when said we didn't want to progress with deal and wanted my car returned turned out they sold my car and when I went to their office to get my deposit back and money from my car they refused - still in dispute and shocked at treatment - I had been a customer for 8 years until now - avoid this branch of Lookers at all costs.
Left my car with them to have new windscreen fitted before a European holiday. Explained I needed it done before we went away. When I went to collect the car it was scratched and dented, they refused they caused it and car was not even ready for my holiday so I had to hire one. I have had to pay another dealer to correct their mistakes. I would not let them pump my tyres up.

Funny that my car was 5 days old with a fault recharging issue was at lookers for almost 10 weeks When I went to collect it 4-5 bumper damaged marks and interior door chrome damage that they didn’t take responsibility for even though I have photo evidence. Further to this the same fault re appears 6 days later after almost 10 weeks stationary? To this day I have tried to get booked in and have this ongoing issue rectified and nothing also I told James the service manager to look at my SOS button in April as wasn’t working still in September it doesn’t work! Months of calling and asking to speak to a CEO only to find out there wasn’t one there and kept getting told the message has been passed on he will contact you? some reputation they have encountered!
