Awful customer care experience, be really careful to read the small print if they offer you a courtesy car, they charge you for any extra days incurred by themselves not being able to complete a repair. Then VW UK show no compassion. Will not be buying from VW again.

Went to Lookers last winter, salesman lacklustre and disinterested. Nevertheless went back in April, ordered a new VW Up. From that moment had to ask twice for details of order to be sent, rang several times to ask when car would be delivered. Was not offered test drive, or familiarisation drive. They had the cheek to pressure me to answer 'yes' to the VW survey, threatening that salesmen would all lose 20% of their wages if I said 'no'. I have repeatedly asked for leaflet on Roadside Assistance, and nor was I told this was part of the deal. I only found out when my car would not start and I rang Lookers. E mailed new car sales, no reply, rang yesterday, he didn't seem to know what to do. Promised to ring me back, he has not. Totally fed up with them, they've got their money and not interested. Would not recommend them!

Just purchased a used car. 1st class customer service from Daniel and Stuart. I would recommend Lookers to anyone.

Interested in a vehicle, had email contact with Keith. Received information on the car, requested the deposit info & was told could pay on collection. Great I could travel down at the weekend. I then asked if he could send the 142 inspection record (no reply) so asked the next day. Received an email 48 hrs later, sorry car was sold yesterday!?

I called into Lookers Volkswagen in Preston to enquire on one of their used vehicles ( 18 plate TIGUAN R Line ) , we were met by a sales person who asked if he could help , I told him that I was interested in the particular vehicle , he asked me to follower him in to the showroom, which we did , he went to get his I pad and returned , confirming the vehicle was still available . I then asked if their was any movement on the price if there was no part exchange , the response was NO , the price is non negotiable, with this in mind I left . The sales persons attitude was negative , disinterested and shocking , my suggestion is for the company to employ a mystery shopping company to give an accurate overview of this lack lustre company.

Lookers VW in Preston have knowledgable friendly staff, the sale and collection of the car was quick and organised.

Don’t buy from Lookers Volkwagen in Preston they are crooks. If you do don’t buy any extra services they are a total rip off.

Please read before you part with your money bought 14 plate Jetta from Lookers Volkswagen in Preston and to start with you pay £20 for fuel but they don’t put it in so check before you sign for car car sold to me with no service book still not got after 3 mouths of asking give up and now come the best moted day before by them and never showed me mot had 3 advisers all tyres was one back brakes a not working properly and seat belt work in great condition but still sold to me jobs now done but still no service book please give away from these.

Phoned Lookers Volkwagen in Preston up to arrange a test drive prior to ordering a new car left my details for a call back, no call back. Phoned the following day and managed to arrange a test drive with a named salesman a few days later on the Thursday. Arrived at the sale room 10mins prior to the arranged test drive and was told that the named salesman was off today as Thursday was always his day off ! Why arrange a test drive with me on his day off ? Receptionist said that she would try and get someone else to take me for a test drive I hung around for a bit lots of staff wandering round but no one offered to take me for a test drive so I left. I phoned up later in the day and spoke to the sales manager here “ Anthony “ who said that the named salesman I had arranged to meet had taken the day off because of family reasons which was a different story to what the receptionist told me. In my brief dealings with this car dealer not one word of apology from any of the staff I conversed with. As an afterthought I checked the customer reviews for this dealer and it transpired that their after sales service is abysmal so it was for the best that I didn’t order my new car from Preston Volkwagen.
