MJ Autos cheat customers, take money for car viewing and later don't refund. They promise it's refundable and later just come up with random rules and say they will not return the money. Be very careful with any cars they try to sell. Their insurance is also an eye wash. Terrible experience

Never heard of this person! We do not take deposits for viewings ever!! Not sold them a car. Ask them to prove it! & then apologise to us!!! They should get there facts straight before they slander the wrong people. I am fuming this review has been published which is a bunch of lies. And to come back in after Christmas to see this is just depressing! & it was on Boxing Day -did they have nothing better to do???
AD Bury Lancs. Went down to Birmingham to buy 3 bar stools, I saw a car on BJ Autos frontage called in 2 hours bought the car and drove it away. Spot on staff, great to have a deal with thanks to you all. Best Wishes Alan

Bought a car for my son who had just passed his test. Car had dud battery. When we phoned mj autos they said phone AA to start it. We jump started car and got it to mj autos on saturday and they said they would sort it on monday. On monday i was abroad on hols which they knew and they phoned my son and told him it needed a battery and he would have to pay for it. When i phoned them from spain they said the warranty didnt cover batteries. When i pointed out a car with a dud battery wasnt 'fit for purpose' according to law i was told either pay for the battery or take car away. They knew they had me over a barrel and my son had to pay for battery as he needed car for work. Im going to report this to trading standards. Also i dont trust their mot's as they tried to sell it to me with worn brake pads. Lucky i spotted it before sale. Buyers beware

With all due respect Mr Smith you had had the vehicle for some time, and your son hadn't passed his test so the car wasn't being used, as you are well aware this would not have been enough to keep the charge in it over this period of time, we indeed supplied & fitted you a brand new battery at cost price, with no labour charge whatsoever, to be blatantly honest your bad attitude didn't help the situation at all, curtacy costs nothing, maybe you need to brush up on your manners, and treat people as you wish to be treated yourself. I bought a Vauxhall Astra from this dealership a few months ago, the people at the dealership were a big help and the car is fantastic. The only issue was that the car had a limiter on it which had to be sorted out and I can't seem to be able to tune my phone into it... But other than that its fine and I have had no problems. I would recommend this dealership.

This dealer sold me a car in Feb 2013 -- Mitsibishi Shogun 51 plate. Clear MOT and looked very clean and tidy. BUT this car was a virtual deathtrap with large amounts of corrosion and also some emissions issues which miraculously re-appeared despite the fact that the MOT was clear of all issues. The car had to be transported back to MJ Autos on a low loader as the sub-frame split and made the vehcile very dangerous to drive. Subsequently the latest MOT has revealed around 20 failures and the return of all the previous issues -- the corrosion is very bad and recommended for scrap only. All my complaints to the dealer are ignored including official letters. Readers should come to their conclusions.
