I went to view a car which was OK but wheels were in really bad shape and there was a fault on the dash on startup! So paid deposit and agreeded to him sorting wheels (with extra cost) then getting the fault looked at and a new mot as only 7 months left.. i kept getting told the car was waiting to be looked at and after various messages asking what was going on I eventually get a message 3 weeks later saying that they have found out the sensor problem is going to cost to much to fix! So they gave me my money back admitadly, but funny how that there quality checked car.. that he was willing to let me take away on the day of viewing now cannot be sold to me! Car is now back on the market for £800 more! Avoid this car trader they clearly don't do thorough checks on there cars they just sell and hope there ok, then sponge customers off to there warentee company!

Went to view a car. It was priced averagely however that would of been of the car was in good condition. MV offered to have all the dents and wheels sorted however wanted to charge extra. Now if the price had reflected this fair enough but it didn’t. View another car at the time and again was in poor condition. Avoid cars as if that’s the external unsure what the mechanics would be like

Hi Mervyn, Thanks for responding 18 months later. Replying to your reply asking about what car I viewed. It was a white Kia Sportage. I certainly did view the car as some details for you. It was July 2021, you was bragging how you had been on the piss the night before in London and how you DJ yourself. You explained to me and my partner how your mum lived at home. The car in question you also had to apologise for the grass clippings in the car as it was one you were privately using at the time to run around. So yes I did view a car, I have got the right MV Cars and I am not a competitor. My review stands.
Due to Covid could not test drive safely. Soon as collected heard whining sound. Two garages have identified it needs a new gear box which was worn out and failing. MV Motors refused to take car back or offer refund. Insisted Warranty take car of it, but after a long wait for them to inspect they declined to pay. Been with the car since the day of sale on 21st November, and MV Motors have refused to cover the garage costs. Court Action pending.

DO NOT BUY FROM MV CARS. I brought a Vauxhall insignia and I’ve had issue after issue. They are AA credited (god knows how!) An AA credited dealer can only sell a car with a minimum of 6 months MOT, I knew the car only had a month and they said they sort it out with there garage with a new MOT, THEY DIDN’T! There was an imbalance with the tyres when purchased, they said they would take care of it, THEY DIDN’T, just cleared the warning light of the dashboard. A local garage took care of it for me and told me that 2 tyres were illegal after their description of the tyres said they was excellent. They said THEY WOULDN’T reimburse me. WORSE was 10 days after purchase, the dashboard suffered major electrical fault, they wasn’t interested in helping me. They got very aggressive and said ‘get the warranty company to sort it.’ Terrible dealer, brought from many dealers in my lifetime, this is the worse one by far. UNPROFESSIONAL AND INCOMPETENT.

We are very sorry you feel like this but perhaps you should tell the truth in your review - 1 star for everything ????? cleanliness - the car was valeted before you took it so why lie ? Dealers Knowledge - we have sold hundreds of insignia's - so why would we not know about these cars ? Value for money - that car was £700 under book value so why lie again ? Resolving issues - perhaps if you listened to what the warranty company requested from you we would have this sorted by now ? We are still working on your behalf with the warranty company even though you saw it fit to put a bad review before the outcome Re purchase of Vauxhall Insignia The customer was advised before purchase we needed to book in the car for Mot _( it had just come through the door- heavy discounted as we hadn’t looked at it properly and wasn’t in terms of body work up to our usual standard but customer was 100% aware of this as i described the car over the phone pointing out its various defects before he came down - nevertheless he was very interested in the car as it was so cheap and actually said he could not believe he had got such a good car for the price ) - the customer wanted to take it away there and then - we said as long as he brings it back for MOT - he went on to say that he could not do so until end Jan - We said we can’t do it that far away from purchase ( as would any dealer ) and asked him to book it in within 7 days - he said he would try but more than likely he would do the Mot himself as he wanted to take it away there and then. We Allowed room for him to get Mot in total price by heavy discounting the extended warranty with we basically discounted and subsided out of our own pocket. Customer did phone me up re tyres and i said we would pay only trade price on part worn tyres and asked him to forward his pay pal or bank account details and i would reinburse him £20 per tyre to keep the peace - he didn’t forward any details He then phoned me up about a week and a half later and said that the car would not drive - i said perhaps you have left a light on and drained the battery as he said no lights on dash or power ( pretty common place for new cars people forget the centre light or parking lights on then drain the battery ) ( he said he had taken it into a garage and they could not get it started- but could not diagnose what was wrong ) - i said to him you too far away to bring it back get it to a vat registered garage and go through the warranty you have - ( we charged him a £100 for a 12 month gold star warranty - massively discounted he also had free AA Roadside as well ) - we told him as he is far away to use the AA to transport it to a vauxhall specialist he said he would take it into a vauxhall main dealer to which i replied the warranty company won’t entertain main dealer prices - he said again he would take it into main dealer - I said and admittedly i was a bit short with him and repeated you can’t take it into a main dealer the warranty company won’t pay their prices take to a vauxhall specialist ( i did apologise to him 3 times at the end of the conversation saying i did not mean to be blunt with him ( i didn’t say to him my 86 year old mother who lives with us and is losing her memory has been very ill and i had been up most of the night with her - it wasn’t his problem but perhaps if i had explained this may not have got out of hand like it has ) he has subsequently written us a bad review on google which i can see he has several times left out the full facts - and also said in the review that his garage managed to turn on the lights on dash and get car going ( perhaps it was a low battery after all not a major electrical fault ) As for calling us unprofessional and incompetent we feel we always deal with every problem as soon as it arises -we do sell the cheaper end of second hand cars and although we do endeavour to give the best car possible and we did offer an Mot but the customer said he would not be able to bring it in within seven days even though we booked it in - in fact he said he would get back to us but didn't Sincerely MV Cars
Purchased a VW Golf from this company around 6 months ago and couldn’t be more pleased. The car runs perfectly, not had a single problem with it and the quality of service I received from MV and the team has been amazing they couldn’t have done more for me. 5 stars!

All i can say is wow - Service terrible 1 Star Knowledgeable 1 Star Value For money 1 star Cleanliness 1 star Service Is second to none in our area ( AA Accredited Dealership - you don't just get that for nothing ) ( 2 years on the trot Autotrader award - Again this does not come from nowhere there is a good reason we have been awarded this ) - both pre sale and after service - we offer out free 3 month gold star warranties on all our cars so its hassle free - Anyone who visits us knows we are knows our knowledge is second to none on our cars as well The Cleanliness of our cars is excellent ( we even hygienically steam clean the seats ) - above and beyond we go . Value For Money - we are very competitive and mostly below Auto Trader / Car Guru and AA guidelines unless its a high demand car or high end cars so again don't understand the 1 star . I bought a car from M V Cars and they are the most generous and helpful people I have dealt with. There was a problem with transferring my payment and the partner who was serving me was patient and understanding and assisted me in every way possible. I had to return the next day to complete and again she was very understanding and generous in her P/X offer. I also got the fantastic car I wanted!
