I had gone online to check for cars But at Manton Car Sales I gotthe best deal. The sales people are so helpful, customer relationship at it's best, a listening Ear to the Excellentustomer needs and finally I bought a nice car to my satisfaction. We purchased a vehicle from Manton Car Sales earlier in June and have had so much wrong with the purchase. It also had three dangerous state tyres, and the airbags were switched off. A mechanic said lucky to be alive as had you crashed due to the dangerous tyres no protection from airbags. Also the engine was emitting smoke on the way home. This car was deemed unroadworthy by a qualified mechanic . DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS RETAILER UNLESS YOU ARE A QUALIFIED MECHANIC AND EVEN THEN BE WARY! This vehicle is being collected on 7th July 2018 at the dealer expense from my self and in exchange I am losing over £1K as I am only getting a third of the money paid back!

The customer purchased one of our part exchange vehicles and managed to drive 500 miles over 4 weeks, on the day of purchase we agreed the customer would be given a warranty towards the parts and labour. Before the vehicle was purchased by the customer we had a pre mot inspection carried out and were advised to replace the 2 front tyres therefore both tyres were replaced immediately. Then the mot was carried out and passed without any issues. If the vehicle required more tyres to be replaced then the MOT testing station would have advised us and we would have replaced the tyres before this vehicle was sold to the customer. During the MOT the vehicle had a full inspection, the airbag indicator was inspected by the MOT tester and the airbags were full working order, if there was an issue with the airbags the MOT tester would have failed the vehicle untill the issue was rectified. On the day of purchase the customer inspected the vehicle and was happy to buy the vehicle. 4 weeks had passed by and we received a phone call from the customer demanding a return, we reimbursed and fulfilled the customers demand, then the vehicle was collected from their premises. When the vehicle returned we transported this vehicle for an inspection at 2 independent garages, the mechanic working at the first independent garage found a slightly loose connector under the front passenger seat, then the mechanic plugged the loose connector and the airbags were working as normal, the mechanic explained the connector moved out of position whilst someone was valeting the vehicle or whilst moving the seat with force. The issue with the airbags did not take place when we sold the vehicle to the customer, it was reported to us after 4 weeks of the customer owning the vehicle therefore the incident took place whilst in the customers possesion. Furthermore both independent garages inspected the vehicle and did not find the vehicle emmitting any smoke and both garages claimed the vehicle was in full working order. We are a reputable Dealership based in bedford and have never had a negative experience with our customers. We did not pressure the customer into purchasing this vehicle and also the customer would have rejected the vehicle if the vehicle was not of satisfactory quality before making the purchase.
