don't go near these people. The managers a Shark, this is the reason why all his staff treat everyone so bad. because the owner Mark Andrews don't care about the business he just wants the money. I was pushed in to finance and lied to about many small but important details. so upsetting reading all these reviews and how so many people was treated the same as me. lied to, put on the spot to the finance company and told to lie about having a test drive. I was told I had one year warrantee when i signed the papers it went to 6 months and now its three months. The way the manager spoken to me was violent and insulting. i found out i was having to have a tracker fitted to my car after i brought it. i called to check this was right because id not been told that before. the manager said 'of course your having a tracker you don't pay your bills! i was so insulted as he don't know me and i do pay my bills. they lied about my credit score put me on speaker in front of everyone while the sales man was pulling a pen with my 4 year old. the pen broke an cut his finger open. When i called with problems the next day they wasn't interested and was so verbally abusive i was in tears and knew i has made a massive mistake, I had been told they wouldn't go over 29.9 APR yet they did. i wasn't asked if that was ok before they put me on the phone to the finance company and iv never had finance before so wasn't sure what was going on. Please don't go down there alone if your a lady, The manager/owner is violent and made a point of telling me he knows where i live. all his staff are friends or family so don't expect any of them to care, Id never work for a robbing company like that. You can refuse the car within the first 6 months I'm in this process. call and get advice of the ombudsman He needs shutting down

I took the car to have some repairs done that they said they would do for me a week after having the car such as the speakers not working on the drivers side at all, glove box I have to use a screw driver to pull the things back out so it will shut, handles put on the seats so they could be lifted and lowered safely and a couple of other things....they had the car for 8 hours and only managed to screw two handles on to the back seats in 8 hours no other repairs were done and no explanation was given as to what they had done in that time or anything. Even the back tail light on the drivers side was missing the cover and still is now! I've had to replace the battery on it myself as it must of been changed for a second hand one, but I don't think any of the cars are actually checked over by their "qualified technicians" which FYI I only saw one guy doing anything with the cars and the only thing he seemed to do was wash the cars.

Took out finance 16 months ago and need to terminate my contract early due to financial situation. Dave at Walsal spoke to me on phone and advised he had spoken to his manager and it has been agreed that i can voluntary terminate my agreement and take another agreement for cheaper come in and c us. I went in 18/11 spoke with syed. Syed confirmed everything has been sorted with my previous car finance company and that i had nothing to pay and Syed confirmed all i needed to do was arrange collection of the car. I drove away with another HP agreement with a different vehicle. I called finance company to arrange collection of the old car and they knew nothing about it. Told me if i wish to VT i need to pay £1062. I called Mark Andrew back and explained and syed said on the phone don't worry he will sort it and call me bk. I'm still waiting for that call bk, despite chasing them numerous times and each time the manager is in a meeting. Stay clear of them they lie and deceive people. I now have 2 HP agreements and 1 car. the finance company for original car still want the full balance 7k and the new Hp company wont terminate my new agreement as over 14 days

I’ve had nothing but greif with this car since the day I collected it. The car was late every time they said it would be ready and I must have heard 100 different excuses during that time always very sorry and doing everything we can etc but once you finally pick the car up you get zero customer service from them and when you start noticing problems with the car the staff at MA Car Group are no longer friendly or professional but take a far more rude and obnoxious argumentative tone with you in contrast to the false pleasantries before you get the car. There are several problems that should have been sorted before they put the car up for sale but they refuse to do anything about it. I wish I had seen all the reviews before I signed up for anything theres thousands of them all saying they got ripped off it would literally take you a month to read through them all. I’m embarrassed with myself that I entered into any kind of finance agreement through this company without checking them out online first! All the patter the salesmen gave me about market leading warranty and this and that for extra peace of mind was just complete and utter rubbish to get me into a false sense of security so I’d sign the paperwork. The warranty they provide is a complete waste of time they just tell you so you sign there and then without going away to think about it first. I’ve never known any company that treats customers so badly as how MA Car Group have treated me. I’ve tried to complain but its impossible to get a manager on the phone they just fob me off and say someone will call back but this is just more lies. Stay away from MA Car Group altogether unless you want to get swindled the whole situation has left me feeling very disappointed. I put my faith in them when I came to them for a new car they knew how much I needed it for work and they have let me down so badly and they just couldn't care less now they've got my money. I shouldn't be needing to pay anything to get it fixed for problems that were caused by the previous owner but they just do not care. I would never recommend this company to anyone stay well away

We have had nothing but problems with this company since we purchased a car off them 3 weeks ago. The sales guys were all smiles and polite when we first walked in but after we signed the contract and realised the car. we wanted to cancel the contract within the 2 week cooling off period and their attitude soon changed. I would advise people who are thinking of going to this company to read the reviews before they make a mistake. Their customer service is absolutely shocking, we’ve had the phone put down on us several times, sales guys arguing with customers in front of other customers and not to mention the dodgy car they sold us. Please think wisely before entering into a contract with these jokers. The sales guy we dealt with asked us to say yes if we were asked whether we’d taken the car on a test drive when we hadn’t! The car we purchased is barely worth £1500 and yet the total cost is £7000. It seems this company thinks that because people have a bad credit rating that we are beneath them and can be treated badly. Avoid at all costs!!

We travelled on the train to get a Focus Zetec from Mark Andrews Used Centre. They seemed great up until finding out we had been been misled then when my partner called and complained about the state of the car and how much we had been quoted to get everything fixed they left her in tears she was terrible name over the phone and told her if she couldn’t afford to repair the car she shouldn’t have bought it in the first place and not to phone again as its not their problem any more!? They are horrible people who claim they want to help people with a second chance if they have bad credit history but they have no qualms about taking every last penny from those less fortunate in life for a dud motor and expecting us to pay for all the repairs what they should have done themselves, the government or trading standards or the finance authoritys should do something about this disgusting company. How and why are they able to get away with this to so many people and nothing gets done about it!? Please do not buy a car from this company people even if your credit is not the best it’s the worst thing you could do based off of our experience.

Adding my review on here and anywhere else I can to get the word out because I heard there advert on the radio earlier and realised who it was, Mark Andrews Car Centre have changed there name now and more than likely its to stop people finding out from there customers about there ABSOLUTELY DISMAL CUSTOMER SERVICE, they have now changed there name to M A CAR GROUP and are advertising on Capitol FM Radio station as M A CAR GROUP but it’s actually Mark Andrews Car Centre using a different name, If you go on the link to there website on here it takes you to a differnt company called MA CAR GROUP but all the cars in stock on there website are in front of a big black sign that says Welcome to Mark Andrews Car Centre so its obviously the same company. Everything online about Mark Andrews or MA CAR GROUP as they are now calling themselves is from people saying they have been ripped off with a faulty car or people saying they got forced into buying a car they didn’t want or people saying they wish they had never even set foot in there or terrible aftersales etc. People need to know what this company are really like If I could pay to put this on a massive advert on the telly just to warn people about these rip off merchants then believe me I would. I had a 2009 Nissan from Mark Andrews Car Centre last year which I literally carnt wait to get rid of and I want people reading these reviews to know exactly what they are letting themselves in for I wish I had bothered to check them out before I signed anything. They will seem genuine and really professional at first when you apply for credit with them and come across very friendly and helpful. DON’T LET THIS FOOL YOU because its all just to get all the people with bad credit who don’t expect to get approved through the door. When you actually get there that’s when you find out what they really like. None of the cars I liked on there website or on facebook were there when I got there and I felt very pressureised into signing for the Nissan I felt uneasy about it mainly because it wasn’t one of the cars that I actually wanted but they told me I couldn’t afford a better one anyway because of my credit score which later on turned out to be lies so it was either that or one I liked even less but I needed a car desperately so I foolishly went along with it and really cant tell you how much I regretted it ever since. They must have wanted to get rid of this car badly because of all the issues it had when I bought it so I think that’s why they pressured me to sign for it. As soon as I was driving it home a load of lights popped up on the dashboard so I called them the following morning and was promised a manager would call me back but this call never happened so I called back the following day but same thing again no call back all day so I contacted them through their Facebook page and within a matter of minutes they had deleted my comments and banned me from commenting or contacting the page again I had to phisicly drive over there to get them to acknowledge the problems with the car but all they did was reset the lights on the dashboard but they came back on straight away all they would tell me is there was nothing wrong with the car but it would be another week before they had time to look at it again but same thing again next week the lights came back on until I ended up taking the car to a proper garage in the end and paying them myself which did fix the problem but I just don’t see why I should have to pay myself when I SUPPOSEDLY had 12 months warranty its just not good enough when you’ve just bought a car to get fobbed off and passed from pillar to post when you try to make a claim with the warranty all they say is they no longer work with Mark Andrews anymore and you will have to take the car back to them for any repairs but when you try to do that they don’t want to know and just say theres nothing wrong. I have got to say to anyone thinking of getting a car from them they are probably the worst company I have ever known THEIR ATTITUDE TOWARDS CUSTOMERS ONCE THEY HAVE TAKEN THEIR MONEY STINKS I would never recommend them to anyone if anyone wants proof that I bought my car from there to show this is a genuine review email me and let me know as long as my name and address does not go online I can provide copy of any paperwork that I had with the car they pressured me into buying AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS AVOID AVOID AVOID.

This is exacly what im goimg through now. To a T. Iv got a nissan thats all teped up in the engine. And they wont take the car back. All tho im in my 30 day return period. Thay rushed me, the sales man didnt explain anything about my APR rates and the price of the car. Just said i had bad credit an my scores 800. We agreed a momtly budget and he found a car jist over that. All tho he said i could afford a lot more. Which i knew wasn't possible. Iv been offered a car a lot cheaper or a professional company. I was lied to about free one year tax an warranty. No one calls me back an they hang up on me. Im not letting them fix it. Shouldn't have been sold like this its a fire hazard. And yes face book replyes within seconds. If it has been taken over by another company etc why not be fair to the existing customers and get a better reputation for them selves. The manager finally spoke to me but ended up hanging up on me when i explained that while i was shoved on the phone on loud speaker without warning the sales man started waving a pen in front of my 4 year olds face. All while i'm on the phone trying to hear what this woman was asking me. I didn't even know who the lady was.

Same problem worst company ive ever dealt with they sold me a dangerous car then refused to accept it back when I tried to cancel the finance it loses power without any warning and it has cut out on me completely when I was driving on the motorway and had to push it onto the hard shoulder and wait to be recovered but they say theres nothing wrong with it even though there clearly is a serious fault that makes it dangerous to drive the warranty is a joke they are a separate company who dont work for Mark Andrews anymore its been a nightmare not to mention the stress they have put me through I came very close to losing my job through being late for my shift every time the car starts playing up theres only so many times you can phone in to say your late because your having car trouble before it starts to wear a bit thin, the staff are extremely rude when you call to complain Ive been shoted at and swore at then had the phone hung up on me by a manager at the head office the way they treat customers is absolutely disgusting

I got a car last year in the Dumfries shop. For what am paying nearly 7 grand for on finance for a Peugeot that I have had evaluated twice 1 for 600 pounds and 1 for 565 pounds. I can't understand what am paying 7 grand for the car has faults already I don't even think it will last 3 years. Try to call the shop it's shut down now called a shop in England they said they would get someone to phone me back but haven't. In the shop at the time the didn't fully explain the finance and pushed for me to sign it which I did stupidly, which he also stated I could change cars after so many months and renew finance again once I have built up more credit, but as I said the shop shut never heard anything since. I'm just stuck now in 7 grand debt over 3 years for a car that won't even last 3 years in my eyes I've already had to pay 300 for work on it

I agree they were also extremely pushy with me i felt that i was pressured into buying a Nissan that i didnt even want they were trying to tell me i couldnt afford the cars i wanted but they just lie to you about how much your approved for to try and make you go back to get the car you actually want next time i had mine last year as well it doesnt matter if they closed the shop by your area the finance is actually with a seperare company mine was with the car finance company also for 3 years but when you have had it for for longer than half the length of the contract you can just give the car back to the car finance company and stop the payments or you can get finanvce with them directly for a better car or you can go to another garage and get a car from them you dont need to go back through Mark Andrews or M A Car Group as they have started calling themselves look up on google "hire purchase voluntary termination" and they have some sites that can explain it better than i can of what your rights are on there but i completely agree these are a total rip off and i wont ever be going near them again thats for sure i have kept up my payments and can get my next car anywhere it doesnt have to be them again like they tried to con me with hope that helps best of luck to you

small claims court can help, I know someone that did and they didn't defend it and the woman got all her money back

I bought a car from them 3rd July. I didn't receive the tear off section of the log sheet. I was told that the car was mot and taxed until April 18. Apparently when a car is sold the road tax is cancelled. I had the car 5 weeks, just days before the 1st payment and it broke down. I contacted the warranty people who said they wouldn't fix it as it's 'an oil issue'. The garage I took it too told me this issue had started long before I got the car. Mark andrews dealership told me to take the car back for inspection by breakdown truck. I told them I live in Scotland and there the conversation ended. Eventually after a couple of months I got a phone call to say they would pick up from the garage to take back to be fixed and return it to me. They haven't picked it up yet. So no road tax , no car. I do like the car, ideal for my needs. I suffer depression and this mess isn't good.

I purchased a car on rent to buy until I can get finance. 1st of all the guy that we met was ok but pushed us into taking a car that we didn't want and it's a shed loads of dents bits hanging off door full of water heaters blowing cold until I bought a fuse bald tyre which they changed and when you call up to speak to some one from that department they fob you off and say he is off or he is with a client or he is in a meeting. I would advise anyone to go elsewhere and never get a car from these. Bad way they treat customers and they say treat customers right. I'm putting this on as Ive made over 40 phone calls and drove 37 miles there and 37 miles back and still nothing done.

Same thing with me very pushy sales MA Car Group forced me into buying a car i didn't want that had loads of faults then tried to get out of fixing anything took the car back to them in Walsall more than once all they do is reset the fault lights on the dashboard and tell you there'S nothing wrong with the car i had to pay a proper garage to get it fixed so i could know it had been done properly total rip off and very dishonest way to treat customers in my opinion.
