The initial part of the journey was good even though we had found similar cars elsewhere online cheaper, but this was the exact car we were looking for. We were advised to come and collect the car over having it delivered to “receive a better experience”. At the time of this agreement we were told that everything (the servicing, camera etc.) would be carried out by Audi. 2 days prior to our agreed collection date we received an email stating this work wouldn’t be carried out by Audi but someone local to yourselves, as this was cheaper. On the evening of Friday 20th October, we received a phone call saying we needed to make payment of the car minus the part exchange value immediately. By this time we had travelled 6.5 hours to get here. Once we arrived at the hotel we transferred majority of the payment and the rest first thing Saturday morning (due to being capped by our bank). On arrival at Marshalls dealership, we were sat us down and gave us the bad news that none of our payments had cleared into Marshalls accounts. But the payments had left my account and we had proof of this. We were told that until payments are cleared we wouldn’t be able to take the car. As you can expect after travelling 6.5 hours for our new car to come back home without it felt so disappointing and a complete waste of our time. Worst thing is we had the funds ready and could have sent the payments way before collection but due to your branches lack of organisation and management skills this failed. We tried to come to an agreement within the branch, however we were immediately turned down. Marshalls offered to drive it down to us, but we were not happy for them to this because we noticed a stone chip on one of its journeys as this was not visible on the videos received and we were told it was completely unmarked. At no point did the sales manager come out to have a conversation with us or apologise. This is normal standard practice in a branch. In conclusion, we loved the car but feel extremely let down by Marshalls Scunthorpe.
I bought a kia sortarge from scunthorpe bmw it has a serious problem with oil dilution they did send it to kia who haven't sorted the problem just fobed us of my next step is to go to trading standards to try and reject the car as not fit for purpose

A great service from a switched on experienced salesman. Helpful and knowledgeable, I found it easy to get the deal I wanted and I’m very satisfied with my Approved used 5 series. As with all things in life, you get what you pay for.

2 minutes agoExcellent purchase of Jaguar iPace July 2023Excellent experience. The car was well priced and the part exchange fair. Smooth process and very friendly and helpful. The salesmen (Russ and Dan) made arrangements easy and all documentation was done electronically online as per the DVLA digital process before I left the premises. The car is only 9 months old so obviously I did not need the other services that they provide. I would be very happy to purchase from them again even though the 260 mile journey is a bit further than I normally travel to buy a car.

Hi Michael, I am very happy with the Jaguar iPace and the dealer. I had been driven in iPace about two years ago and was amazed at its performance versus my BMW 5 series which was about a year old then. I spent six months test driving the majority of £40-60k EV's after that and chose the Kia EV6 AWS GT-line based on its price, driving and features. However, when this deal came up on the iPace HSE Black it was a no brainer to go with it and part exchange my six month old Kia EV6. Its in a different league to the Teslas, Ford's, Nissan, Audi, VW etc. The nearest driving equivalent was the BMW i4 but it was a bit too small and cramped for me. So it's my third EV and I've driven most of them up to £80k and I am very happy with Jaguar iPace and at the price it was a steal 😀. The higher spec HSE/ black have a good range of features and beautiful quality but it's the fun driving it that really sells it especially, with air suspension which I love.
Just bought a car from this dealer howard the main person we dealt with was very profesional when we decided thier car wasnt quiet right for us he sourced another car for us nothing was to much trouble for him and Justin

Ian Stacey at Marshall Scunthorpe is the best salesman we have dealt with. Ian is extremely competent and knowledgeable in his area of work. We have dealt with Ian on a number of occasions and he is always a pleasure….nothing is too much trouble for Ian. He delivers excellent customer service and makes the car buying and selling process very simple and organised. He always listens to our car requests and goes above and beyond to ensure we get the exact car we are looking for. Thank you once again Ian, for your hard work and dedication in finding us yet another superb BMW!
We would like to a big thankyou to Ian Stacey at marshall s Scunthorpe for finding us our latest purchase. This is now the third car we have bought fro Ian,he is proffessional and attentive to detail and your requirements and has always done us a great deal. So a big thankyou to Ian and will look forward to when the time comes to purchase another car . Thanks also to Scunthorpe Marshalls Mr & Mrs T&V Duke
I purchased my mini remotely and was totally dependent on accurate description and video from Marshalls. I was initially pleased with the service and the price we agreed on and was looking forward to collect my car. Unfortunately the person I had dealt with was away and had delegated the task to colleagues . We were left for almost 90 mins despite having an agreed time for collection having travelled 140miles to collect the car. What was frustrating was that there were staff not serving any customers ; they were eating their lunch and it was not until I had complained that eventually we were served by a 3rd delegated representative. Again there were additional delays as the car was not charged, they had to take it out to put in fuel and also to pump up the tyres. Once we eventually left to drive home I noticed a chip in the windscreen . I called the garage immediately and was told that I would be called back the following day. When reaching home I also noticed that there was only one charging cable not the 2 that I had expected and had been told were with the car. I called the garage the following day and explained what my concerns were and was told that this would be looked into and I would be called back. I have now had the car 3 weeks and still have not been called back . Sadly not the level of service I would expect from a large national chain. I purchased my car from a dealer expecting the same level of service I had received from other mini and bmw dealers. Unfortunately they have fallen considerably short of the standard I would expect. Be aware .

The service and care that Mark Biela provided with our new BMW at Marshall Scunthorpe BMW went above and beyond. We ordered the car pre Covid lockdown and were expected to receive the vehicle around middle of May 2020. But due to the lockdown and reduce workforce in the factories in Germany there was a delay in getting our car manufactured. Mark called to advise that there was a delay and kept us up to date with progress. I was able to contact him directly to get progress updates and he was very reassuring that the car would be delivered by the revised date. When the car did finally arrive it was delivered to the Grimsby branch, upon returning from furlough he managed to get the car transferred to Scunthorpe, taxed and complete the paperwork so that we could collect within 2 days. Marshalls is not my local BMW dealer and I believe I made the right choice to trust them with my new car. I didn't use my local dealer (Sytner) as the service I get from them is very poor, even though Marshalls is a 3 hour round trip for me I will be getting my car serviced here as they value their customers. Thanks once again Mark, look forward to dealing with you again.
