I was looking for a new shape Focus ST. Looked allover the place and couldn't find one locally, due to working full time I wasn't able to go around the country to view/find the vehicle i was after, so i contacted Mawsley Motor Company. Within a couple of weeks Mawsley managed to find me the vehicle i wanted, under my budget and with a high spec than i was originally looking for. I was offered first refusal on the vehicle, came and test drove it and decided i was going to go for it. I had already been approved finance with a 3rd party company but due to my good credit score Reece managed to secure me a lower rate through their own finance company. Nearly 2 months in and i couldn't be happier with the car, it came with 12 months MOT for piece of mind so i could just get on and enjoy driving! Excellent service, excellent prices - wouldn't recommend anyone else.

I travelled quite a long way to get to this dealership but id say it was worth it! I bought a Citeron DS3 from Mawsley Motor Company back in June and up to now I have had no issues at all. They were helpful and friendly and the car was clean and as described. I would recommend this dealership.

In may I purchased a vehicle from this dealership. The initial service was good and they seemed quite nice but when the car needed repairs they didn't want to know. wouldn't recommend this dealership.

We are sorry to hear that you have had minor problems with your car since purchasing it from us. All our vehicles are thoroughly checked over at the time of sale and most come with an independent MOT. Unfortunately things can go wrong, but we always do our very best to overcome any issues within a reasonable time. On this occasion, we do not feel responsible for minor wear or tear items that have occurred after 4 months and over 4000 miles of ownership. Please remember the cars we sell are used vehicles and extended warranties are available. Please also bare in mind, that extended warranties will only cover mechanical failure not general servicing and maintenance.

I wouldnt recommend buying a car from mawleys if you do I strongly recommend you take a mechanic to check it over first. I brought a faulty car of them 4 months ago. First of all the radio and back passenger window was broken they took the car back for a week when we got it back both had been bodged. We finally got them to pay for the radio to be fixed. Our front and back brakes were worn to the legal limit which should of been an advisory onp the mot which had been done on the day we brought the car. We have had to replace the the map sensor as the engine mmanagement light kept coming on, even after this we still have a bad vacuum in the engine which is causing a slight engine blow. We also have had a new air filter, spark plugs and the air box cleaned out. And now the gear box had been leaking oil on to hot components on the engine which could of caused a fire. While they were investigating this they found that the clutch was very worn. They told us the cam belt had been done two mechanics have said the original factory belt and water pump is in the car. Not what expected for a 6 year old car.phoned mawsley and was told I can t call when things go wrong, I have emailed them no reply. Left a review on there Facebook page and they have removed all reviews. Please be carefully when purchasing a car from them.

After getting hold of Ashleys partner (Who was a little more reasonable, may we add), we have finally resolved the issues above. To anyone else buying a vehicle from us, if you have any problems within a short period of time, please call us. Our office is open 7 days and week and we have an office mobile which is on 24/7. The above issues could have been resolved a lot sooner, rather than customer taking things to the extreme and leaving negative feedback over all social media. The problem we had with this particular incident, was the above customer had loads of repairs done to the car in the total region of £1000/£1500 and expected us to pay the costs. What they should have done is return the car for a repair, refund or replacement. The fact they had work done to the vehicle themselves without our acknowledgement meant they invalidated any further warranty from us. As a gesture of goodwill we did pay some compensation to them.

Stay away sold me a unsafe car then denied anything was wrong My advice don't buy a vehicle from Mawsley Motor Company.

The car is question was sold with a 12 month, independent MOT. The car was fit for purpose when sold yet the customer would not return it to us for us to investigate his allegations. We believe he was just trying his luck for us to send him a cheque. To anyone else reading this, if you have any issues with a car which has been bought from us, please call us and will endeavour to try and resolve your issues. Again, Extended warranties are available to 95% of our vehicles to give you drive away assurance that if something does go wrong, you have that piece of mind it will be fixed under guarantee.

Volvo V50 Very happy with the car and the service I got buying from Mawsley Motors. Great choice of cars, from small first cars to family motors and sporty numbers. The chaps were very helpful without being pushy. Overall a great place to buy a car from and will definitely not hesitate to deal with again.

Bought a Citroen DS3 in excellent condition, were very helpful and polite. I didnt feel pushed or hassled whilst there and was given time to look around on my own unlike some other garages with pushy salesmen. Will definitely return to buy my next car and will recommend to friends/family

I've now had 2 cars from Mawsley (Fiesta Zetec S and Focus ST) couldn't be happier with the vehicles and service received, more than helpful and kept me informed during the process, from placing a deposit, getting finance and collecting the vehicle. Would recommend to anyone after a car!

This car dealer sold me a car needing extensive work, despite giving me and my mother assurances that the car had been carefully checked by them. I eventually got a refund, but to say it was forthcoming is the understatement of the year. They kept telling me I had no rights to a refund, which was a lie. I reported them to Trading Standards and would strongly advise against using them. Since writing a bad review about my experience they have been harassing me via facebook and email. If it continues I am going to be contacting the police.

The above customer bought a 12 year old car from us. He took it somewhere and had it checked over. He then sends us a report with a bill of up to £2500 worth of repairs that would be required to make it new (eg. slight condensation in front lamp £350, minor corrosion on coil springs £400). After the customer would not return the car for us to have it inspected, we asked for a report to be carried out by a main dealer as the original report had to no name on it and did not look genuine. The main dealer found a few minor faults but said the car was fully road legal and fit for purpose. After the customer became very rude, we decided to have the vehicle back and refund him fully. If there was any major problem found, we would have rectified it free of charge, but on this occasion, the customer was very hard to deal with and even after refunding him fully he is still posting negative reviews about us. Completely unrealistic customer. Next time, please buy a NEW car!

We buy Saab from Mawsley Motor Company. We exchange Citroen Xantia, he said we need to put this car to scrap. He want sold this car for £490 he lied to us. We came to buy a car 100 miles from our house.

We took the Xantia in at scrap money as the car was not fit for the road. We paid the above customer £100 as p/x. We then spent another £300 on it just to get it into a roadworthy condition, and yes we put it up for £490. We eventually took £400, So actually didn't make anything, just got our money back. We are family run business who pride ourselves in providing good quality vehicles. All our cars are checked thoroughly and most will come with a independent 12 months MOT as standard.
