Have to agree with all of the bad feedback on Medway Autos. Bought a car off here and it leaked really badly in the boot. Contacted the guy who traded it and he made them fully aware that it needed work but they failed to fix. Tried to get it fixed but they didn't want to know about it. Stay clear of these.
Bought a car for mum, had the worst experience ever in life at Medway Autos. The car was good the day we drove it but after these guys serviced it, and handed over to us there were terrible issues with the car. They repaired it and later said that the repaired part is not the original part. Also their salesman who we had dealt with , was no longer in the company a few days later when we went to complain about issues. In short terrible experience and never recommended.

Asked to test drive a car- was asked if I was considering buying it. I said I'm not sure- hence why I'd like to test drive. Response? 'If you're not 100% committed to buying the car then don't bother taking out for a test drive. Great sales technique guys!

why should you test drive it if your not sure most modern cars drive alike unless your a formula 1 driver
DON’T GO NEAR THIS DEALER. The clutch felt weird and wobbly underfoot on the test drive and I also asked for wheels to be balanced. 11th Nov '16. (I found out £669 later that the 'Dual Mass Flywheel' was seizing up). Promises to fix these by collection date on the 18th were unfulfilled. Returned car for inspection on 21st Nov. The mechanic test drove car and confirmed something was definitely wrong with the clutch system and 'leave it with us over the weekend'. I Collected car 25th. Nothing was done and told it was 'Just a sheen' on the clutch plate it would be alright. It was not. Took car to a clutch specialist on 27th who confirmed fault in writing ("there is a problem with the dual mass flywheel"). I Wrote asking for refund on 28th with request for refund within 14 days. I actually visited M.A. to ask if they would change the clutch. Then I received a Solicitors letter saying 'don't visit the branch again and refused my request for refund, citing it was just 'wear and tear'. I took car to tire dealers for wheel balancing on 16th (the other promise not kept, after I had covered just 500 MILES!) I was mortified to be informed that all tires had bald patches (on inside tread). To be able to legally drive the car I had to change all four tires! I then Wrote another letter before my right to claim refund expired on the 18th Oct again giving 14 days to respond adding tire dealers assessment. Phoned dealers solicitor 30th and requested refund. He said a flat NO. It was just acceptable wear and tear. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED - DON'T GO NEAR THIS DEALER!

Hi, Did you go any further with this? I have just had an extremely similar experience and am just commencing court proceedings. Be good to hear the rest of your story.
I recently purchased a Volvo estate and opted for there extra cover pack. Some weeks after collection it developed a leak around the windscreen so I returned the car for investigation. They informed me that although leaks weren't givers due to perished rubber as a gesture of goodwill they would replace the screen free of chatge to be sure the leak was fixed long term Thank you Medway Autos
Bought Astra, paid 400 for service and warrantee. A week in and started loosing power. Took back to be told was a sensor and they took in while my son watched there CCTV to see them filling it with oil! They said sensor was replaced but next 4 months constantly topping up with oil and using lots of diesel. Finally broke down and just cost me 300 hundred for the device that was never done ! These people are liars, please please avoid! On checking the warrantee it was not worth the paper it was written on
Steer clear !!!!! Bought a car from here in January (£6,500). After 3 times of not starting managed to swap it for a similar model. In the 22 days that I had the car, 9 days were in working order. I had no courtesy car in that time. When I asked for a refund on my remaining 5 months tax they said I should have done it monthly so I could of cancelled it and they were unwilling to refund me. It is now July and the car I swapped it with is due for tax renewal and Medway Autos haven't even sent the log book to DVLA. Shocking aftercare !!!!

DON'T BUY FROM HERE! Put a deposit down on a car from this place, they said they would get it fully MOT'd with no advisories. I get the car back with an MOT saying no advisories, check an old MOT which said there was an advisory and nothing had actually been done to fix it in the recent one. So I complain and they do get this fixed, however at this point I'm already concerned with what else has been let through the MOT without proper checks. Next thing I know 2 days later a dashboard light flicks on and I have to take it into the garage once again, over a week goes by and nothing has been done on my car, they have had to send it externally which has taken them a week to figure out. So I've paid 4k for a car and within the first 2 weeks of owning it I've driven it a grand total of 2 days out of the 14 and it's already had 2 problems. I'd advise to look elsewhere for a car.
Medway autos are a disgrace. I did a part exchange and they gave me a pathetic price for mine. However the sales rep was convincing enough so I trusted him. Big mistake. The car I bought was given new mot and a basic service. Since January when I punched the car I've had to have all new disk brakes and pads all round new tyres and now the final stra a new drive shaft total spend around £1,400 and after calling them they virtually said tough!!!!!

I am looking for a car for work, found a great looking car then read these reviews, boy was i shocked by the bad servce people get here, so i wont even go to see it, its cost them a £6k sale.
Spent £5000 on a car and warranty. 8 days later loads of problems with the car and guess what the £400 pound warranty doesnt cover it. They still havent fixed the faults, wont reply to me and now Ive got a £5000 paperweight sitting on the drive. I have had to pay to take legal advice and still no reply.........I will leave you to make up your minds about this place....
