Quite surprised by other reviews as I was over the moon with the service from Matthew MH Car Sales in Oxford. A Man of his word from start to finish and a lovely car bought for the Mrs with 0 problems at all. And will use again. Steve.

Bought a car here two months ago. Seemed OK on test drive, so purchased car. Two months and £700 later, I am still having problems. The brakes failed on me within the first week of purchase. Although the car had a warranty, I was advised by a few people that the dealer wasn't the most trustworthy; so, because the problem could cost me my life (dramatic, but true), I took it to my own mechanic. There, I was advised that despite the fact I had been told it had a full service history, it hadn't been serviced for years. I hadn't thought to check the book, just took his word for it. There was a problem with the suspension that they rectified, they fixed the brakes, I had a light out despite it "passing" the MOT when I bought it... Not possible so was obviously a dodgy MOT. Took it away a bit annoyed that it had already cost me money only for the engine management light to come on within a week of this. So within two weeks, I had spent a small fortune on the car. A further two weeks later, the other side of the suspension is playing up and now the front brakes are squeaking. In addition to this, water is getting into the car and making a horrific smell. Angry at the amount I'd already spent, I took it back to the dealer. He said it wasn't a problem and he would fix it within a day and asked when I was free. I told him I needed the car for work but was off the next week so it needed to be then. He said that was fine and to text him when I got home with a date. I did this only to be ignored. Sent a follow up and was told he was away. He knew when I wanted to come in and omitted to tell me he was away... I was then told he would come back to me but he hasn't. Please take my advice- I wish I had listened to what I was told about him as it has cost me massively!

I bought my first car from MH Car Sales Oxford. Not knowing a huge amount, I thought I'd be safe as the garage offered 3 month warranty. I spent £980 to buy the car but have since spent over £700 fixing it after it needing all 4 tyres replacing (they'd been painted to look new) it failed it's mot in Feb needing the front and back suspension replacing. it has broke down on several occasions each time returning it to the garage in which they said there was nothing wrong with it "it's just wear and tear" less than 24hrs later the front anti roll bar snapped at which point I was sick of them wasting my time as I need my car for work so gave in and just paid to fix the problems. Absolutely do not trust MH Car Sales Oxford.
