Having purchased the car from the Midlands Trade Centre, driving it home I noticed that the car was pulling to the driver’s side. I rang the number on the back of the booklet, I was then told I could take the car to their preferred garage, Addison Tyres which I was told was only a short distance away from Trade Centre however that was an understatement! The garage had the tracking done but this didn’t resolve the problem. I returned to Trade Centre the following day to the main entrance and spoke to the front desk, I was told I was in the wrong building and needed to go customer care on the other side of the building which is blocked off from the main office and show room, I guess they don’t want potential customers to hear about the problems other users have! As instructed, I went to over to customer care and spoke to someone behind a glass window that they only slid half open. I told them about the fault and they advised that they would arrange for one of the technicians to look at it. I waiting approximately an hour before technician came over. He said that the tracking had not been done correctly and that I would have to take it back to Addison Tyres for the work to be carried out again. So I again took the vehicle to Addison Tyres and told them what the Trade Centre technician had told me. Once they got the car on the ramp, the mechanic said the tracking was fine and something else was causing the problem! Took it back to Trade Centre telling them that there was something else wrong with the car and that the issue had not been resolved. I was then asked to take a seat and that someone would come over and look at the car. Again waiting for over an hour during. I was eventually seen by a member of staff called Nicky, she advised that a technician had looked over the car and that the front tyres needed replacing and surprise surprise, unfortunately there were none in stock and that she would call us within two days when the stock was due. A week went by without a phone call so I returned to Trade Centre to ask if they have received the tyres, they confirmed they had and apologised for not getting back to me sooner but they had been busy! I was told to take a seat and someone would fit the tyres and take the car for a road test which could take up to an hour. I agreed for the work to be carried out and took a seat along with my wife and six month old child. Two hours went by until we were spoken to again. They confirmed that the tyres and road test have been completed and the problem had been resolved. Driving home, I quickly realised that the problem had not been fixed so then returned to Trade Centre an hour later to go through the whole process again. This time they didn’t allow me drive into the Customer Care office like before, instead telling me that someone would come out to me in the car park which. A member of staff came out saying that the car will now need to go back to Addison for the tracking to be done again! I knew straight away that this wouldn’t fix the problem! I asked to speak to a manager at which point Nicky returned and also dismissed the whole matter in a totally unprofessional manner. As we were not getting anywhere, my wife said that we were going to write a review about the whole ordeal at which point Nicky, the manager became aggressive stating that threatening with a review wouldn’t help the situation! A further two hours later, bearing in mind we had already been there for four hours with no offer of refreshments, the car was returned. I was told to go on a test drive with one of their technicians, Jaz who while driving told me that he could feel the car moving to the right however this wasn’t a problem, all cars have movement in the steering! I told him that it was unsafe but his reply was its not a strong pull and that it shouldn’t affect driving under normal conditions with both hands on the steering wheel in an effort to fob off the problem! He then proceeded to say where in the handbook does it says that the car steering will be level and not to drive without your hand on the steering wheel in a sarcastic tone! I have had enough of this establishment and their totally unprofessional and unfriendly staff.

We are midlands trade centre limited 1198 Coventry road in Birmingham. We strongly believe we are not the company you purchased your car from. There are many companies with names similar to us and one that many confuse with us is "The Trade Centre", we not the "The Trade Centre", we are Midlands Trade Centre limited, two different companies. We do advise you to look at your sales invoice and kindly remove this review and instead put this review to the company you actually purchased your car from. there is no Addison tyres near us, again we are based in Birmingham so please remove this review.

Midlands Trade Centre are nice people and a really good amount of cars,suv,vans etc. Cars are nice and clean
Sold us a car not fit for purpose had been in accident and covered up. Parts cable tied together. Clutch and gearbox broke within 3 weeks. Mechanics told us car was dangerous. My kids and wife use this car. There customer care centre were rude told us they wouldn't of sold us a car like this and told us to pick up car or it would be left on street...wow what an awful place overpriced which we new but thought if we had issue we would be safe and it would get sorted...but no. Avoid at all costs don't make same mistake as 100s of others like us and stay well clear.

Hi Paul, we are advising all people that put reviews for the benefit of transparency and future buyers experience to mention the make, model, sales invoice number and exact name of the company on the sales invoice so we can verify your purchase and reply adequately to all genuine reviews. The reason for this is to not receive the bad reviews for vehicles that have never been sold by us but by similar named companies.
Staff were very helpful (to a certain extent) I waited 6 hours ... nothing offered - no apology etc. Eventually sorted - because of this delay and waiting around for 6 hours my own insurance was closed and I had to buy 24 hr insurance cover !!! because of the waiting around . 6 HOURS !!! I drove my car 35 miles on the motorway. 2 days later had a call to tell me the part they ordered for the vehicle is delivered !!! WHAT I was told NOTHIING ! I bought a safe car as far as I was concerned. I asked for an explaination then had call back saying wrongs car !!!?? I'm no longer confident in driving this vehicle I Ipaid additional funds to get it home. I HAVE EMAILED TWICE AND CALLED AND HAD NO RESPONSE. !!!!!!!!
65 Mile journey andto the Midlands Trade Centre was a total waste of time. Car should be a scrapper, taped up pipes trim missing 2 illegal tyres salesman a total liar only a blind idiot would buy this.

Sorry, we did not have a car for your expectations.
Friendly staff sure, but terrible overall experience due to false advertising a car with a blown head gasket and other issues as "excellent condition". I have tried contacting them, but they don't respond, and their forms don't work, so I will be filing a formal complaint with the Ombudsman and following legal channels if they continue to not respond. I am so gutted as would have been the perfect car without much difficulty to buy. Now it's a nightmare.

We have never advertised any vehicle as "excellent condition" and never do. No vehicle has been sold by us with a head gasket issue and we have never received any call/complaint from anyone with regards to this reviewer.
Bought Toyota 4x4 drives well fair price upon arrival warm welcome great service always recommend.

Seen a vehicle advertised online , phoned up and then they held the car for me till I got there the next day , everything was as described , lovely well mannered staff and great hospitality , will be returning to midlands trade centre and will strongly recommend ;)

Midlands Trade Centre Ltd let me down big time. falsely advertised the car, deceptive pictures not to show scratches. Then offered me a discount if i purchase as a trade buyer via some CAR DEALERS CLUB company, but in return would mean i get no consumer rights!
