I found a Chevrolet Spark 1.0litre engine and good tax for £30 a year , so o arranged a viewing not a problem , everything seemed to be going ok, when viewing the car I noticed the air con didn’t work , the water coolant pipe needed fixing and the oil and water needed filling so we made a deal we would take the car for asking price £1995 if these problems were fixed or have it for £1500 and we correct the problems so we stuck with the £1995 as they wouldn’t give us the full mot service on it and they said they would rectify the problems , and do a part service on it to fill oil and water up. When reviewing the car non of it was fixing the car was along a screeching noise and the airbag light was on and wouldn’t go off , I rang up and they said they would fix it, took the car to the garage and when I picked it up all they did was the tracking nothing else the first time I was told it was ready they wasn’t even at the garage waste of a journey , second time they lied to my Face and didn’t rectify all there’s problems at all , when I ask to rectify it again they said it would take a week so I got my money back and returned the car , very disappointed , and dishearten with how poorly I was treated , and my little girl who is one has been lifted here their and everywhere with all this hassle

Having bought a car after dealing with Dave,mainly through text as seems he don’t like talking on the phone after sales expecially,a week later ENGINE FAILURE HAZARD,STOP IMMEDIATELY flashed up,so I rang office spoke to Scott,whose phone skills way out way Dave’s,and he sent a pick up truck and said he’d sort problem,10 days later car is returned and after multiple texts from Dave saying it’s fine now and no problem could be found on diagnostics,a week later same thing flashed up on screen ENGINE FAILURE HAZARD,so then after over 20 attempts to ring office and Dave’s mobile with no answer I go through warranty company as Dave said previously it was a *good will gesture* to take the car back the first time to be looked at!! the cars now at a Renault specialist via the warranty and apparently needs £570+ worth of work on it after diagnosing the problem which Dave said didn’t exist,again no reply to phone calls to Dave or his office regarding this...I thought Sofology would take some beating as regards customer service but Dave and his team manage to top them comfortably,AVOID THIS GARAGE AT ALL COST ESPECIALLY DAVE whose phone skills elude him,whose skills in general seem very limited,worst car company ever and I’ve dealt with many in the last 33 years!
I Live in a small town just North of Glasgow. I had been looking for a while, for an MG tf sports car in decent condition for a while and spotted one online, at Motor Wise in Lincoln. Despite being 300 miles away, purchase process on phone, smooth and car delivered within a few days by transporter when my car uplifted, as taken in part exchange. Had a car now for the past 4 years. My wife also drives a car from Motorwise and received fantastic service. I told Dave what is was we needed the car for and he recommended 2 options and clearly identified the benefits and drawbacks of each. When we had decided, he explained the process simply and clearly. The sales process was very good, but unfortunately that's where it ends in terms of my experience. I bought an 04 plate Golf just under a year ago. Within three months, the exhaust started to blow and diagnostics showed that there was a problem with the catalytic converter. This needed replacing at a cost of over £500. I contacted the warranty company and they explained that it wasn't covered. I then contacted Motor Wise, explaining how disappointed I was that this major fault had transpired within such a short space of time after purchase. I had paid a decent price for the car and expected it to run without major fault for at least a year. Motor Wise didn't want to know, they even suggested that the fault may be attributable to my driving in some way. Nearly a year after purchase I have had to replace the battery, traction needs sorting and the bonnet clasp went and I couldn't shut the bonnet. I regret purchasing the car from Motor Wise.
The staff at Motor Wise have been really helpful and friendly. I bought a Ford focus from them in February. It was clean and as described and they gave me a very good price for my old car! I have had no problems and I would recommend this dealership.
