I purchased a Golf GTI on the 13th November which was sold to me by Rex. On my opening inspection of the vehicle, I highlighted areas where I believed there to be damages that may have been repaired. However, upon my analysis I was ensured by Rex this was not the case and I am dealing with a highly reputable company. The following day of the purchase warning lights started showing on my dashboard. The car has a front driving assist feature that is supposed to brake during emergencies. However, the car started to malfunction which made this feature activate while no obstacles or objections were in the radius of the car and nearly resulted in a fatal crash while my kids were on board. I immediately notified Rex and he encouraged me to take the car to VW as it is still under the manufactures warranty. Once the car was booked in with VW, they called me a few hours later with increased concern and high levels of safety breach to then inform me my warranty is now void due to the car being in a crash previously and having undergone a poor repair. This was then the result of the warning lights on the dashboard showing and the car malfunctioning. Instantaneously I phoned Motor Class and Rex was not available and was dealt with by Mike. I told Mike about the situation and he said to leave it with him and that he will contact me the next working day. When he phoned me back, he stated, “VW could be lying to get out of warranty” and then goes on to state the vehicle had a health check by VW 2weeks prior to my purchase. I then requested the details of the health check which he refused stating it was a data breach to give me this. I then escalated this matter to my finance company and upon speaking to them within an hour Motor Class phoned me trying to offer me a new car which I declined due to the lack of trust I now have in the company. Due to my decline of the offer I was told I need to pay an excess for mileage usage and tire thread. This is a monstrosity as the car is being returned due to me being mis-sold and my life being put at risk, they also refuse to accept full liability. They are now threatening to deduct costs from my initial deposit which is outrageous. I would advise people to stay away from this company and if you decide to make a purchase take all vehicles to the manufacturer to get a full check. Furthermore, I would not want anybody to go through the traumatic experience, I have been through which could have resulted in a life-threatening injury

Impeccable service, Rex was the most honest salesman i could have ever asked for. Kept me up to date on the status of the car and also had all the chips from the previous owner cleared up. Car was like new!
