I don’t doubt this will be followed up by a declaration from Belinda that this is not a genuine review, or a host of reasons why my opinion is invalid or incorrect. The fact is they’re not nice people to deal with. A slapdash handover from poor communication leaving me feeling a little underwhelmed by the professionalism and a distinct sense of dismissiveness from Stephen at the start as if he had far better things to be doing. Followed by initially pleasant communication with the sister, Belinda, who is fine, unless you ask anything about money, then you have to chase her endlessly when she will excuse her silence from being busy working hard selling your vehicle but she actually has another business that clearly takes up most of her time and priority. My van was reluctantly sold for difficult personal reasons and I spent a lot of time and money making it in the best condition for sale. I provided the photographs also because the ones they used were terrible and had clearly been rushed. It sold within a week from just two viewings and for that they took over £6,000 and still expected me to wait another week to 10 days for the payment because the new owners wanted to add a reverse camera. They even justified a reduction in my payment because it was supposedly a part-exchange buyer where they would have made a pretty hefty killing out of that trade too. As you can imagine, I won’t be recommending them to anybody.

Our team strives to provide an excellent service, and we believe our track record reflects this. It is concerning to hear your claims of poor communication and dismissiveness, especially as we strive to ensure all clients feel valued and supported throughout their experience. You had to cancel our first appointment, which was rearranged to Wednesday. I had arranged this, but I had forgotten to update Stephen with the time once you had confirmed. I apologised to you at the time for the error and if that had made you, or your vehicle feel undervalued in any way. After the handover of your vehicle, Stephen dropped you back home as this was your primary vehicle. You had also booked it into the garage for some new tyres and we offered to take it to the garage for you, to save you the inconvenience, in addition you had left some items in the vehicle which you wanted returned, and again we gladly dropped them to your house and put them into the porch for you. Regarding the sale of your van, we were really pleased that we were able to sell it quickly for you. The vehicle was given a thorough valet and photographed, the pictures were added to the website in time for the weekend and specifically for a customer in Scotland to view. When you brought your campervan into us, the canvas roof was badly stained along with a cracked and damaged pop top roof, which all had to be repaired by us. In addition, the gas bottle, which was loose and dangerous, so we had to fit a new metal locker to house it safely and adapt accordingly, to bring it in line with gas safety regulations. The vehicle was sold, and the customer requested a rear-view camera which we agreed to do as part of the sale, which all is perfectly normal, and this had to be fitted the following week. Due to the purchaser's work commitments, it was handed over the following week. I would like to clarify that you had agreed to a brokerage figure before you had brought the vehicle into us to sell. During the handover meeting you asked if we would be able to get you a little more if possible, and Stephen agreed to try that for you, in fact we returned you more than the agreed amount. We note your history of predominantly negative reviews across various businesses.
