Avoid at all costs — utterly shambolic experience I bought a 2020 car with 29,000 miles from this dealership. Within 20 miles of leaving, the engine lost power, a warning light appeared, and it went into limp mode. I called the dealership straight away — they told me to “get it sorted through the warranty.” I took the car to Eden Vauxhall, where diagnostics revealed a severe engine fault. Their team warned me that driving it any further could cause irreversible damage, requiring a full engine replacement. I phoned the dealership again. They said I should return the car but refused to cover transport costs. I asked if they’d take responsibility if the car broke down en route — they said, “if it breaks down, it’s on you.” I asked them to collect the car. They refused, saying “the customer has to return it.” They wouldn’t reimburse a transporter either, so I paid out of pocket to get it back to them. Three days passed with no contact. When I chased for an update, they said “it’s with accounts.” No follow-up, no explanation. Two weeks later, I got an email asking me to return “documents,” with no clarification. I assumed they meant the service log and V5. On day 21, I finally got a call saying they’d refund the car price — but not the cost of the warranty i also bought. They told me I had to chase the warranty company, despite the fact that I'd paid both car and warranty costs directly to them (Motorplus). It then took four more days while they supposedly “checked with a boss.” Eventually, they agreed to refund the full amount and asked for my bank details, promising the money by the end of the day. Three days later — still nothing. I chased again, and was told the payment had been returned by the bank. What action did they take when they received it back? Nothing. Only after my call did they reprocess it, and it landed in my account an hour later. The fault wasn’t “new” — Eden Vauxhall said Motor Plus would have known about the fault and flagged before the sale. I followed advice from Citizens Advice and the Consumer Rights Act, but the dealership took liberties at every turn. Without question, the worst customer service I’ve experienced in all my years. Stay well away.

Salesperson great go all out to help you not pushy.just walk around at your leisure to look at cars
We have bought 2 cars at Motorplus and would highly recommend. Salesmen were supportive but did not pester us. Good choice of varied price cars. Both Craig’s very professional and helpful
The boys there were great. Helped me get pretty much what I wanted for the right price. And didn't take long at all.
Bought a 2017 Peugeot 208 Black Edition from Motorplus South Wales via Oodle Car Finance. The car drives like new. It's been 2 months and I still haven't received the V5C logbook and no assurances from Motorplus that it's actually been sent off to the DVLA. On the day of the car handover, Motorplus said I should receive the V5C within 14 days., therefore I've reduced this review rating from 5 stars to 1. Very dodgy! I had to pay £25 to get a new log book. I'm extremely unhappy and do not recommend Motorplus to anyone. I have reported Motorplus to Trading Standards. Motorplus and Oodle Car Finance agreed to share the cost of £150 for the car delivery to my home address. I paid £150 in cash to Mo, the Motorplus car salesman after successful delivery. I even dropped him off 5 miles away at Victoria Station. Little did I know, they were going to fob me off for weeks on end. I expected a cheque within a week for £75. Then it became 2 weeks, then 3 weeks, until I got very frustrated and submitted a 1-star review on Google, finally they sent me £75 straight to my bank account. Whereas, the car finance reimbursed me the next working day after the car delivery. I definitely won't make use of their 'free MOT for life' offer. There's no way in hell I will get reimbursed even if I left them 5 star reviews everywhere.

I bought a car off of Motorplus South Walsa and had it for a week before it started to break down on me. They had it back and so say fixed it and if anything it's made it worse and now I've been car less for 5 weeks and they have been fobbing me off from the start. Yesterday I had an independent car inspection carried out by the car finance company and they've confirmed what I've told them for months the car was not fit for purpose when they sold it to me. Stay away do not buy from Motorplus.
I did have to replace the brakes and tyres almost as soon as I bought the car but in fairness as I was away from home I didn't contact Motorplus to resolve the problem so I won't be holding that against them at all, although I would have perhaps appreciated them checking over the car before the sale as they would surely have picked up on these issues. Overall I am happy with the car, it gets me from A to B and the dealership during the sale were good.
