I've just completed a 700 mile round trip to purchase a car from MP Motor Co. I first saw the car on their webiste and rang to talk about it. I dealt with Lee Potterton and was immediately impressed with his courtesy and professionalism. Nothing was too much trouble and we basically completed the deal over the phone, to my complete satisfaction and subject to me actually viewing and testing the car. Because of holidays, both mine and Lee's, I paid a small retaining deposit and was guaranteed that the car would be held for me, as it was for some 2-3 weeks. When I finally got to the garage, I was really impressed. A huge choice of very well presented, well priced cars and, again, nothing was too much trouble for Lee or any of the others at the garage. The car was exactly as described and in fantastic condition. None of the "missing" bits of paperwork as with other dealers, no pressure, no problems. Just excellent customer service, as you would hope for but don't very often experience. Drove away a very happy bunny, and would readily recommend both MP Motor Co and Lee Potterton to anybody looking to buy a good car. Excellent to deal with. Thank you.

What a refreshing change, no pressure to buy at all, we were even able to test drive the car on our own, never had that before!!!!! When we got back there was no going in the back to get a price for my car, the owner was there and he gave me a reasonable price straight away for my car, no messing. Pleased to deal with, will recommend anyone i know to buy from MP Motor Company, and by the way i love my new Vauxhall Astra.

I bought a Vauxhall Vectra at the beginning of September with extended 12 month warranty for £299. MP Motor Company were absolutely brilliant, customer service and very good sales persons. I also got free delivery to my house, will recommend to friends too.

I was looking for something a little bigger than my previous car and MP Motor Company helped me find what I was looking for, which I appreciated as they have a massive range of cars. Although they were busy I was able to test drive a few cars and take my time. I'm was very grateful for all their help.

What a major disappointment this company is. We called them on Monday, several times in fact and said we was definitely interested in a particular car. We then called the next day to say we was on our way, however it is a 2 hours drive, so we set off, only to get there for them to tell us they had just sold the car. Firstly I though it was common courtesy within the car industry that if someone was coming to look at a car and someone came in the mean time they would be told that someone is coming to look at it and they would let them know asap if I'd didn't sell. Well this obviously isn't their way and I am absolutely disgusted that they could do this. I honestly think this was a plan to get us into the dealership and the car wasn't really for sale, just to get us in their sales room. Do not trust MP Motor Company Ltd.

Appologies for your wasted journey Hayley, but we can only reserve vehicles once we have a holding deposit of £100, which is refundable if the vehicle is not suitable for the customer, the reason behind this is we have removed vehicles from sale for customers who decide not to come and view the vehicle and have lost sales due to this. This facillity was offered to yourself, but you declined the offer to reserve the vehicle that you were interested in and was sold as you were travelling to the showroom to view the vehicle. the vehicle your were interested in was actually on site when you arrived, as we do not advertise vehicles for sale that do not exist as we are busy with enquiries on the 220+ vehicles on site.
MP Motor Company are definitely one of the good car dealerships around. There was originally a fault with the car that they couldn't work out at the time but they arranged to have it fixed at a Vauxhall garage and everything has been fine since, they also gave me a courtesy car in the meantime to check how the car is. I would be more than happy to recommend this used car dealership to anyone who is looking for a car right now.

We lost our £100 deposit after being mis sold a car that we purchased from MP Motor Company Ltd. Firstly we was not told the free tax and warranty was added to the finance. We was then told another car would tow our caravan and it was under the legal limit. So we didn't want the car. The salesman and manager at MP Motor Company were very rude and angry.

You left a £100 reserve on a vehicle which you then travelled to view at our site. After test driving and never even mentioning towing weights or caravans you decided you wanted to buy the car. You then phoned up the next day to say you didn't want the car as it wasn't suitable for towing, so I went to the effort of helping you find a different car that was suitable for towing. You decided on a different vehicle, suitable for towing, and transferred your deposit to that one. I took that car off sale as well because you had checked everything. Once again you phoned to say you wanted to cancel that car as your wife didn't like it (you said the day before you'd checked everything was ok). You had another look at our website and after much checking of towing weights and you checking that your wife liked it this time, you said that this time everything is great for what you need. So I took a third car in as many days off sale for you. Three days later, the day you was due to pick up the car, you phoned me to say that actually you don't want a car now and you wanted your deposit back. As i explained to you when you left a reserve on the first car, we refund if you decide (after checking everything over) not to go ahead at that moment in time. You confirmed three different vehicles, and the third one was only cancelled a few days after agreeing you definitely wanted it! (we had other people asking about that car at the time and turned away business because you confirmed you wanted it). Had I sold the car to some one whilst you had a deposit on it, you would have said it was breach of contract and demanded answers. So this is the only reason we kept your deposit (not reserve) because you confirmed the deal.
Only a few months ago we was on the lookout for a new car and actually needed a specific car. This is when we found it here at the MP Motor Company, we found that the dealership made the purchase and process really easy for us and there was no issues that came with the purchase before or after which is why I have scored them the highest possible scores
