Absolutely delighted with the helpful, friendly, non-pushy style of Jim and Alan. Car was exactly what I wanted, just in and they pulled out all the stops to get it ready and MOT'd for me. The guys are knowledgable and up front, I wouldn't hesitate to receommend them to anyone. The fact they've been at that location for years speaks for itself. Car very well presented and exactly as described. These guys are no fly-by-nights. Would happily return the next time I need a car.

Please avoid! Bought a van from here and had nothing but problems. Purchased it in 20th of December last year. When I bought the van I was told it would go through the workshop for a full inspection. I had it on the road a week and it cut out on me. Took it to the nearest garage and they diagnosed the problem with another 6 problems deeming it not fit for road use. Some of the problems were ; LEAKING ENGINE OIL. BURST CV BOOT SPRAYING GREASE ALL OVER ONE SIDE OF WHEEL WELL. LEAKING POWER STEERING PUMP FUEL PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE KNACKERED. VERY BADLY CORRODED BRAKE PIPES FRONT AND BACK. Phoned Alan up to tell him about the problems as I had a 6 month warranty and the reply I got was (WELL IT IS AN OLD VAN!!!) the words from a so professional salesman! sorry but that’s not good enough considering my kids are in the van 4 times a week! Yes it might be an older van but I still paid nearly £4000 for it so I do expect it be be Road worthy anyway he took it back to get sorted and sorted the badly corroded brake pipes and the fuel pressure relief valve and also the fuel metering valve. Flooded the power steering fluid hoping it would fix but it didn’t. Got the van back and noticed drips of oil on my driveway. Took it to a garage and they told me it was the injector seals which was causing it to (back pressure) very bad for the engine! The seals were away and it was shoving oil out the dipstick. You can also hear if the injector seals are away if you take the oil cap off and it makes a chuffing noise and blows out lots of smoke front the engine!. I was advised not to drive the van because it would cause damage to the turbo and other engine parts. Foned Alan and he said bring it over. Alans mechanic said it was absolutely fine and they couldn’t find any oil and the pressure was absolutely fine. Had to go to an independent garage and get a full report done on the van for them to diagnose back pressure. I asked Alan if he would take the van back as I only done 100 miles on it. His reply was, I’m definitely not taking the van back. I contacted my finance company and sent them the reports and they offered to pay for the repair to a independent garage which has been done and was a success. So after nearly 2 months of borrowing vans to get to work I can get the van on the road. I also have video footage of the engine ticking over with the smoke blowing heavily out the oil cap. I also have pictures of reports and picture of the copper compressed seals which when removed from my engine were totally wrecked. I also didn’t modify the van in any way for Alan not to take it back, all I did was take the wood lining out the back as I’m a joiner and was going to renew it all. Never again will I buy from Netherton Cars.

Like the majority of the previous reviews we contacted this car dealership today and was addressed by an incredibly rude member of staff! my husband had to eventually hang up on the the salesman due to his aggressive attitude towards our questions on trading in one vehicle for another. This dealership does not specialise in trades only wants sales so don't waste your time on them go to a reputable dealership elsewhere.
