Brought a nissan qashqai +2 in august, car was in a ok condition for age 12 plate. Cracked bumper and poor spray on the bumper lead to a £200 back from nick king which was accepted . A week later we noticed that the gear leaver started sticking and struggling to get into 1,2 gear took it to a garage and they confirmed a gear box fault and gear box oil leak, contacted nick king and they said they’d take the car back to have a look at and repair, courtesy car came which was AWFUL, 2x seat belt plugs broken in the back and ex ambulance documents left in the glove box which horrifying images - A week later after repairs being done, we drove back 2 hours to collect the car, once seeing the car we noticed a HUGE scrape down the left bumper and wheel arch, spoke to Jeff and he denied that it had happened in their care and that it was there when we brought, after showing them photos of the car the day it left us he apologised and offered £150 to repair!!!!! £150 wouldn’t have even touched it, we returned with the car as it was getting late. After seeking for quotes from companies the repairs where around 600-800 , gear box leak still there and gear stick still sticking !!! 2 days later drove the car back to Gloucester and left it on their forecourt, the only good thing from the company was that the hand over back to them was smooth and money returned into bank within 2-3days.
What can I say these guys go the extra mile brought a kuga from them good price spotless when I picked it up super helpful even though I turned up about 2 hours early to pick car up . Thank you

The head sales man was rude, immature and arrogant. We wouldn’t visit this dealership again unfortunately. Really unprofessional behaviour which is a shame because there was a lot of cars to look at on site.

Bought a Audi TT cost over £8000, bought in lock down, so not able to view so you have to trust the salesman, asked him on condition of the car, age related marks he said, passenger side alloy wheel curved, also scratches on rear wheel arch, also car vibrates badly at higher speed (65) and up taken to 2 garaged but no definite answer but both agree there is a fault, stay well clear 😡😡

Asked questions regarding the purchase of a vehicle online and what refund policy there was which wasn’t clearly explained – they are just looking for a quick sale. I really liked the car and its pretty rare to find but I wanted my deposit back. So, if you see a vehicle you really like I’m sorry but turn away and find another dealer. I spoke to Tom, who seemed happy to take the deposit but when I asked some questions, he was rude and said “I was a fussy customer”. There are some good reviews on here which I took in accounts and tried to ignore the bad ones but they are just shocking. “Car comes with 12 MOT” that’s great I thought, but they do it themselves and it seems like they overlook some issues. Asked for a copy of the service history and Tom said its “just a book with stickers in it” and seemed reluctant to send it. If the customer service is bad now what will it be like if there was a problem after 2 weeks with the car.

New car immediately proved faulty within ten days of ownership. Fault was never really understood as so many different stories. Nobody ever called me back, excuse being the calls never went through, strange as my phone is with me always for work. Eventually with the help of the finance company got my deposit and part ex value back. Dreadful !!

Purchased a Nissan on December 29th 2020 at the Gloucester site and wanted to comment on the service my wife and i received when we met with Thomas who was extremely friendly polite knowledgeable and accommodating to our needs ,Initially we were apprehensive given some of the reviews we read prior to visiting however they were soon removed and wanted to say a huge thank you Just one point i would make the 12 months AA cover that comes as standard should be elaborated on as it is just for one call out a year
For the last ten years or so I've been buying used cars at one of those car supermarket places and I'd read lots of 'iffy' reviews about local used car dealers, Nick King included. But I went along anyway and I was really surprised. I ended up buying exactly the car I wanted/needed. I didn't feel pressured, I felt listened to (and as a woman I find that's rare in the motor trade as I usually feel that they see me coming and book their foreign holidays)! The car was prepared over a few days and if I have one tiny gripe, it was that although the car was valeted, MOT'd and serviced, there were still two quite large cobwebs that hadn't been removed. I could have understood if the car had been parked by a tree or bush (that's what happens often to my cars at home). Anyway, the car looked brand new when they finished with it (even with the cobwebs still in place). Staff were lovely, Tom (little Phil) and Rob (little feet) in particular. They were polite and attentive. In that respect - no issues! Tom managed all of the paperwork really efficiently, and I left happy. Thank you Nick King Car Sales!

The salesman seemed to be in a rush and busy with other more important things. He was distracted, flippant, disinterested and almost annoyed to answer any questions so they were dismissed with one word answers. Seemed he could not wait for us to just buy the car and leave. The car had not been professionally valeted. He said it had a new MOT which apparently had passed with rotten windscreen wipers. From day one, I was already spending £30 on new wiper blades and screen wash neither of which were included. The cheap, used mats were tossed into the boot, didnt fit and were clearly not the mats for the vehicle. He seemed ambivalent whether we bought the car or not and probably just wanted to get off to the pub on a Friday evening...if it wasn't the fact we wanted the car, we'd have walked away within minutes of arriving.

We were a little sceptical buying our car as we lived a very long way away and could not inspect the car (hands on) After a asking for a video of the car, we decided to make a deal, a very fair part exchange was agreed and all the arrangments made . From start to finish we were very pleased with the service we received and there was worries at all. The car arrived and we were over the moon with it. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.
