My wife bought a Audi from here. After 2 weeks it needed 3 litres of oil. After putting in the oil 2 weeks later it need another 3 litres!!!!! They said this was normal for this vehicle!!!!!!!!!!!!! The vehicle had warranty but they didnt want to know. Said we could return the vehicle at £2 a mile. 800 miles done would be £1600!!!!!!!!!
Spent a lot of money on a car from them. Customer service lacklustre. Said they’d pick me up from station as was travelling far but then didnt and later claimed I wasnt there. I requested for vehicle to be taxed and serviced before delivery. After car delivered experienced very poor running. Looked under bonnet to find oil cap off as well as engine protector on side of engine itself. Obviously hadt been inspected prior to delivery, though they said it had been. Then had letter from DVLA to say it hadnt been taxed so another £160 down. If I had a choice I would avoid these guys. The owner doesn't exactly inspire confidence.
WOW, Reading the other reviews it seems I am not the only one who agrees how anxious, rude and arrogant Charles the owner is!! Literally bought a car, and within a week it broke down, with so many faults. I was willing to allow them to fix it, until the arrogant owner spoke to me in the most rudest manner telling me I could have a refund because I had put the problems in writing and expected some reassurance and guarantees before I took the vehicle again. He told me I had to retract my complaint e-mail within 12 hours, and only then I could take the vehicle back. After the manner in which he spoke to me, and his disgusting behaviour and arrogant nature I decided I'd take the refund and so glad I did. Untrustworthy car, horrible owner. Surprised he has any business at all with that attitude. Literally was shouting at me down the phone. A questionable looking man with a huge ego and disgraceful manners. I feel sorry for his staff, some of who were actually polite but totally governed by their rude boss.
Bought a Mercedes GLA 220d from this company for £15,991 and where to start, the car was clearly in an accident which wasn’t mentioned when I came and viewed, upon viewing maybe I was naive and too trusting but after having the car a week I discovered panel after panel had had major work done, the car looks lovely and shiny but, I’ll list a few of the issues: Bonnet was out of alignment, passenger side doors were buckled, headlights were out of alignment, boot was out of alignment, underneath the car was held in by tap in screws in the wrong positions, the front grill was held up by tap in screws which later dropped out to show a crack, a number of poor re-sprays with loads of overspray which was covered up, poorly filled panels and tape lines from re-spray, the list goes on, also as stated in the advert that the car had Apple Car-play which it didn’t (confirmed to have never had this nor could it now be added with Mercedes). After all these issues, I opted for my mum to deal with the returning of the car as it was clearly mis-sold under the consumer rights act and simply put she would present herself more professionally than me, after addressing the issues the person we spoke with, who addressed himself as Charles, was aggressive, we felt he was trying bullying tactics to scare us away on multiple occasions. The stress this put on myself and my mum for around 2 weeks while this was getting dealt with was beyond words, but eventually he agreed that I could drive the car 1.5 hours to them for them to keep the car for 3/4 days+ to inspect it, which we reluctantly did and so drove to Nottingham to do this and speak with the director about the issues in person to try and rectify this, however he was coincidently at a doctors appointment at the time he gave me to return the car so I was only able to speak to a salesman in relation to the issues which were obviously not for him to give an answer on. We did proceed to leave the car with them and upon returning home we received a call to offer a refund minus £1 per mile, although I do believe I did at least 200 miles less than was calculated but as I had no proof I decided to take that on the chin, as a total I lost around £1000 on this car which by the end was actually a victory. I can’t stress BUYERS BEWARE enough with this company!!!
Nothing but problems costing an absolute fortune since buying the car. I've spent close to £11k having it fixed within 6 months of buying. Dont reply to emails or phone calls about my complaint. Cocky af staff. Will say anything to get a sale
Just phoned to get some reassurance before purchasing a car that if it wasn't as expected I would be able to return - I really liked the vehicle had the money transferred into my account to make the purchase but was met with a tirade of defensive ramblings from someone who presented themselves as the Director of the company!!! Basically telling me its an 11 year old car and obviously would have problems with it and if I wasn't sure not to bother- so guess what - I didn't. Then I decided to check out reviews on the company and there's so so many complaints about the Director. So glad I didn't do business with them which is a shame because I really liked the vehicle but can't imagine what I'd come up against if I did have a problem!!! Directors like that dont deserve to have successful companies especially with whats going on in the world I hope the Director reads this review as i would like to thank him for stopping me making a massive mistake by spending my hard earned money at his business
Poor service overall, multiple problems with the car just months after purchasing. The owner himself rushed the sale as he “had 10 other customers to deal with” that day. Very arrogant. Under full warranty and still had to pay £100 myself towards fixing a problem which should not have occurred.
I don't really know where to start with this company, and like someone else mentioned the Director. The car i bought couldn't of been more falsely advertised if they had tried. There was no spare wheel, the window in the back didn't work, one of the back doors wouldn't open, and the rubbers around the drivers door was practically gone! With all that said, I decided to buy anyway as I believed I could rectify the problems myself. After 800 miles, the clutch completely failed and collapsed. I contacted Nottingham car sales to be told I had burnt it out myself, 800 miles and I had done this amount of damage! I was told that there was nothing they could do. After seeking advice from a clutch specialist I was reassured that this was a problem that had occurred way before I bought it, no possible way that 800 miles had caused it. I went back to nottingham (100 miles later) to speak to the director personally and try to come to some sort of agreement. What a waste of time, his response was "I wouldn't have a million pound company if I fixed every car i sold". Arrogant doesn't even come close to how I would describe this individual, he is an absolute disgrace. STAY AWAY an please dont buy from him.
Jodie in response to Absolute DISGRACE of a company!!!
Did you have any joy with the company? Did you send formal letter? I’m in a position myself and would like as much information before I speak to them directly.
Travelled quite a distance today to buy a vehicle that was falsely described as immaculate, when the exterior clearly was not! We were most shocked to be addressed by the Director in such an arrogant and rude manner when enquiring if the price could be adjusted to reflect the obvious damages to the vehicle. Buyers be aware that this place should be approached with caution at all times.
Avoid avoid avoid. Used misleading and aggressive tactics to sell cars. Claimed they knew all the history of car they were selling. Found out days after purchase that car had significant accident damage and had also been repaired in places by the dealer. Attempted to return the vehicle and owner became aggressive, refused to uphold consumer rights and said would only speak to our lawyers. Luckily we had bought with finance so had protection, Finance company ordered an independent inspection which found significant/major previous accident damage and poor repairs. Dealer still refused to accept rejection and was obstructive. Finance company ultimately accepted rejection and took the car away themselves. Refunded in full and paid additional compensation by finance company. Others may not be so lucky, AVOID. Wish we had read other reviews on this site before purchasing,
