I purchased a Ford from NT Traders LTD T/A The Car Traders and unfortunately my experience has been very disappointing. Soon after the purchase, the car began showing multiple issues that were not disclosed at the time of sale. What was presented as a reliable vehicle has turned into a source of ongoing problems and stress. I expected a car that was roadworthy and accurately described, but instead I was left dealing with faults that should have been identified and addressed before the sale. This has caused me extra expense and inconvenience. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend NT Traders LTD T/A The Car Traders. I strongly advise anyone considering buying from them to proceed with caution, ensure a full independent inspection is carried out, and be wary of what is promised versus the reality.

We paid a deposit and delivery charge for a VW Up for my daughter. On the agreed delivery day I messaged to check what time to expect the car and was told they’d sold it! And for the last week I’ve been trying to get my deposit back. Calls unanswered. Messages ignored. Deposit missing! Based on the business ethics on display I’d recommend looking elsewhere for your next car.

I purchased a Mercedes C-Class (Reg: LM17 ***) from this dealership on 12 August 2025. Within just a few short drives the car developed serious problems: smoke and burning smell from the engine, oil leaks, jerking, overheating, dashboard warning lights, and gear shift issues. Despite returning the car multiple times and being told it was “fine” or “just a small fix,” the same faults kept coming back. Even during a test drive with their own staff, the car produced heavy smoke. Eventually, they admitted it may need a gasket/turbo repair. I formally rejected the car under my legal rights within 14 days, but instead of handling the matter professionally, the staff (including Mr Ali) made me wait around, dismissed my concerns, and showed no real interest in resolving the issue. Their customer service was extremely poor, and I was left feeling stressed, anxious, and without the car I paid for. They provided me with a courtesy car, which drove smoothly with no issues, clearly proving that the vehicle I purchased was defective from the start. I returned the courtesy car and all documents for LM17 *** on 27 August 2025 and am still waiting for my refund. Buying a car is stressful enough – dealing with this dealership has been a nightmare. They advertise “clear MOT, no faults,” but my experience has been the opposite. I would strongly warn anyone considering purchasing from NT/NZ Car Traders to think very carefully before trusting their claims.

Total scam artist. Sells dodgy cars that are very unsafe. Not fit to be on the road. Very helpful until you collect car and then take your money and run. Do not trust this dealership

A friend bought a car from them and it's been nothing but trouble. The company seems to prioritize profits over customer satisfaction and safety. No after-sales support, no care for the issues my friend is facing. It's clear they only care about making money and don't value their customers' lives. 0 stars

I bought a Nissan Note. Car is very good and staff is very cooperative. Price is comperatively low from others and sevrive is very good. Also provide a 12 month MOT with all changes needed. Thanks to Bilal!!!
