I had a very bad experience with this dealer. I decided not to leave review after my purchase, but i have now decided to share my experience. I bought a 2017 Range Rover Velar in November 2023. I was very happy when i saw the advert online and decided to speak to someone called Jordan. I trusted this dealer because of the range of cars i saw on their forecourt, and I didn’t bother test driving the car or checking it out properly. I went to pick up the car very late, towards their closing hour and only just view the car under the bright light at their forecourt. I came to pick up car next working day because of delay finance paperwork and that was when the problem started. First was condensation all inside the car while driving and 4 days later, the car wouldn’t start. I called a mechanic and was told i need to change the battery 🔋. This was 4 days after the car was picked up. I had to buy a Brand New battery from Land rover for £350. I emailed Jordan regarding this and the condensation issue, and he told me there was nothing wrong with the car. I kept experiencing this issue until i took the car to my local garage for inspection. The car was inspected thoroughly and they found out this dealer had sold me an accident car. The paint work on the car doesn’t match the rest of the car, there were paint residues all over the car handles and bumper, which shows signs of poor bodywork repair. This was now very visible to me at this time. I was also told the reason for the condensation was because of Water Flood Damage to the Car. I decided to email Jordan who sold me the car and he wouldn’t agree with the findings. I had to go through financial ombudsman, in other to get this dealer to Co-operate. Now I’m left with no car for the past 4 weeks and they wouldn’t give me updates on the repairs. Avoid this dealer at all costs!!!!!! Very worst customer service, they denied all mechanical and paintwork findings on the car.
Foolishly bought a car from Oakdene collection, there were a few red flags such as what looked like a doctored service history and overdue service, but the car was the spec I wanted and presented well in the pictures, I collected the car and on first inspection I discovered the interior of the car was still masked up having undergone an interior smart repair, also on the drive home I had to pull into the hard shoulder of the motorway after a van driver alongside me got my attention and told me my bonnet was open, which it was, when I got the car home I booked it in for the required service at a local specialist and just 3 weeks and few hundred miles after collection from Oakdene I needed to spend almost £3'000 to get the car up to scratch, the majority of the cost was a new serpentine belt that was almost 5yrs overdue and 90% worn out brakes, I approached Oakdene for a small contribution towards the cost incurred but they weren't at all interested.
I recently collected my new BMW from the team at Oakdene Collection, everything was great and Jonathan guided me through every step of the way. Thanks again!

Dealt with Eddy Hoque through autotrader when I was selling a car - he made up a story about his sick wife needing a car. Said he wasn’t a dealer (but left his name and company in the tagline…oops). Loads of back and forth. Wasted my time and kept trying to convince me it was listed too high - I sold it at the listed price to someone else who was easy to deal with and not a liar.

From initially finding my oil leak on my Audi RS 3 spoke to the Oakdene team and they arranged pick up from Southampton back to their premises. Throughout the repair I was regularly updated with the progress and on completion they returned the car on a trailer, all works completed and very pleased with excellent care throughout by the whole team.
My experience at Oakdene was exceptional. From the moment I met Tom to the time I said goodbye he couldn't have done anything more to make the purchase run smoother. I would recommend Tom and Oakdene to anyone.
