WARNING STAY AWAY FROM OAKWOOD MOTOR GROUP. Some cars sold here are not fit for road use and I think that they have a dodgy mot place aswell.

Worst place ive puchased a car. Ignorant,immature, people listen to me stay away from oakwood motor group.

Please don't buy a car from Oakwood Motor Group they are by far the worst car dealership. Dealt with I bought a car over a month ago and I have still not received the log book I had to apply for it myself, I travelled over a hundred and fifty miles to purchase a car and they were as slippery as they come everything the told me was lies don't leave without the log book don't leave without the mot, check online to see if the car has advisory's.get your own finance as the make £800 per customer. Enquired about a white Audi A1 - for viewing, with the intention of buying, on the morning of viewing we were told not to come in as it's not ready yet. Since we live pretty far away we thought 'ok fair enough, let us know when it's ready.' Waited a week, we rang back only to be told it had been sold. A few weeks later, we see it on autotrader again, being sold by the same company, for just over a GRAND more than what we previously saw it for. Pretty disappointing.

Enquired about a car over the phone as i am 150 miles away to be told the car was still for sale so i asked a few questions about the history of the car and what paperwork/receipts they had. He said he will give me a call back once he checks to which he didn't bother calling back. I then emailed my enquiry across via there website, fairly detailed explaining i would need to travel far to view the car (and potentially buy and drive back) so what kind of history they have. To their credit they did email back with the following... "This car was sold just before Xmas." That is all i got, 7 words. Email wasn't addressed to anyone or signed off. Think i may have asked to many questions and they didn't like it. Happy New Year nonetheless..

Do not do business with these people. I deposited 500 quid on an Audi S5 to take it off the market until an RAC inspector could check it out. The inspection on the car came back telling me the car had money owed on it. It was agreed at the beginning that if the inspection was negative, I could pull out of the deal and get my deposit back. I received an email from Carl saying he would get on to the refund with accounts. I then got a call from the owner of Oakwood Motor Group, Liam from memory, a typical second hand car salesman, quite aggressive, telling me the money owed on the car was a mortgage that the company takes out on the vehicle, apparently a standard practise......I told him I wasn't comfortable with that and requested my deposit back. That was in April 2017, The automotive ombudsman have received the complaints to take further, I have a full email history of 'promises' to prove it.....be warned these guys are liars.

I bought a SLK 200 car from oakwood Mansfield, 3 weeks ago...On inspecting the car we found the heater blower did not work,and as i wanted to take it that day,I was told by salesman, Gary to get the repair done and send them the bill,saving me a long journey back to them,for them to repair at a later date. On phoning them numerous times since then and speaking to the owner LIAM who also said he would sort the problem ,nothing has transpired and i am now left with a £300 bill for a new heater blower. I was hoping that oakwood motors would reinstall my faith into buying from a used car dealer, as i only ever bought private in the past..,but it seems even with there 5 star reviews, they are still not to be trusted. This is my first and last experience with a used car dealer, as i will be returning to buying private in the future. Oakwood motor group really need to up there game
