🌟Would highly recommend🌟 without a doubt best garage we’ve ever dealt with. Purchased a car without viewing, Paul arranged delivery, tax, number plates without extra charge & couldnt of been more helpful. Couple of minor problems & Paul sorted these out immediately from over 200 miles away!! Liaising with a local garage to get these fixed straight away. Would not hesitate to buy a car from Paul at Open Road Cars again - no hassle, no worries - just great customer service & peace of mind.
Bought a car some 5/6 months ago seemed fine then few weeks back car started to make the odd clunk and squeak when slowing down,took to the garage who informed us rear brakes were down to the metal,discs were badly corroded and warped,needs new callipers as they were seized and brake pipes badly corroded total cost £645.00. The car came with 12 month which was done 5 months ago with no advisories (really), Paul told me put 12 month mot on because he knew it would pass, but it didn’t it failed on 2 items which he didn’t mention. The garage where we had the repairs done as the car was a (death trap) said there was no way in 5 months and 3k miles all this could happen I have the parts and provided pictures to Paul and his response was there serviceable parts and car was fine when he sold,then accused the garage of ripping us off as he could’ve had it all done at trade price absolute vermin

We supplied the Audi TT with a full mot and no advisories as requested. We unfortunately cannot warranty brakes on a vehicles that were purchased over 6 months ago and done a few thousand miles. If the customer would have rang us before getting the brakes done at we could have saved then a few hundred pounds, ie: 2 x Callipers - £100.80 Rear Disc & Pads - £61.08 Labour £70 Total £231.88 a saving of £413.62 on their brake bill of £645.50 Customers please note that garages should be given the opportunity to recitfy or help out customers before they undertaken work without informing the suppling garage. Went to view a Nissan Juke on Saturday and picked it up Monday! Paul was really helpful and friendly, answered any questions we needed, wasn’t pushy but was there if we needed anything. He managed to get a service done at short notice and had it ready to pick up on the Monday afternoon. Not only are they recommended by us but by our 9 year old car mad son was more than impressed and his dream came true when he was allowed to sit in the ‘Bentley’ - a car of his dreams!

Paid for a polo 1.4, good little car. 3 month warranty with it saw me get a couple of things checked. All good.

Brought a peugeot 208 from here a few months ago. I’ve since had to pay over £500 for repairs and have had constant issues with it. Tried to liaise with open road and they’re not interested in the slightest in helping. The car is only 7 years old, faulty and completely not ‘fit for purpose’ whatsoever. No offer of a replacement or refund. Shambolic service. Do not buy from here.

Both Paul & Sean were helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Nothing was too much trouble they allowed me me to take a couple of different car for a couple of days. so I could decide properly which car I wanted to buy, they even gave me a courtesy car while mine was ready.. They MOT‘d, serviced, valeted and rectified a couple of issues with car at no cost to me, so it was perfect when I collected it. I cannot recommend Open Road Cars enough, great people to buy a car from.
