I had an intermittent issue with the ventilation system in my 2 year old Kia Xceed. Such issues are really difficult for dealerships to fix because they need to experience the issue in order to leverage the manufacturers repair under warranty. In this case, Angela and Nick at the service department went above and beyond to help me out. They arranged a hire car which I had for over a week, they tried everything to recreate the problem, often trying to recreate it themselves. In an incredibly busy dealership, it felt to me like they were really working hard to find ways to somehow help get the issue fixed. Intermittent issues are hard. Technicians can spend hours trying to recreate issues to no avail, meaning the dealership doesn't get paid - they try to avoid charging customers when the car is under warranty! Anyways, I witnessed really good customer service, empathy and caring. Alec the master technician also found ways to somehow recreate the problem and he did manage to fix it himself yesterday. I felt it was Important to leave this review as a mark of recognition for great service in difficult circumstances. The staff I named deserve credit (thank you) but generally I found all the staff to be excellent. It's never possible to be smooth sailing in all situations I'm sure, but great service is important to recognise!! Thanks folks!

Went for a nosey and ended up trading in for a newer used car. Helped by Alan who was extremely helpful and thankfully was not pushy or precious about getting a deal done. Alan answered all questions and as far as I could tell, found the best options and deals available. All very straightforward and easy. This is our 5th Kia and 4 have come from Parks Bathgate. Would I go back there when it's time to change cars? Probably

Having just picked up my (I think) fifth Sorento from parks in Bathgate I give them 10 out of 10 for a pleasant car purchase and understanding when things didn't go quite right! Being a female car buyer, believe me, I have been to garages where the salesmen think a female comes into the showroom to check her hairstyle in car mirrors but I have never had that experience at Parks. I wouldn't go back if I did. Alan Taylor has sold me the last 3 Sorentos and it is always a pleasure to deal with him.

I travelled about many miles to get to this dealership to look a car. Well done Lee in sales for being such a positive friendly and helpful salesman to deal with. I did not end up buying the car I came to see purely because the specific car (a Honda) didn't tick all of the boxes I required. I had a test drive in this car and two further cars which were a possibility seen on the site. Lee was very straight forward, and did not pressure me at all to purchase with the usual car sales patter (this was wonderful) Even in this day and age it is a rare car salesman who can speak to and converse with a female customer without being mechanically patronising or chauvinistic - using phrases similar to 'these are wheels' and 'they go round' Excellent and a very refreshing cordial discussion about cars with Lee. Ladies when you want a Kia your first showroom should be Parks Kia Bathgate. Ask for Lee. Thank you Lee for being so professional and extremely knowledgable on the cars you are selling, and talking to women as equals in the motoring world.

I recently purchased my second Kia Sportage from this dealership and would certainly use them again. The salesman Sandy was just amazing, very informative, helpful, and extremely patient with myself who I would describe as very challenging and indecisive. Terrible attitude from this dealership - not interested in sorting small issue even under warranty. Trying to charge diagnostic fee before checking out problem and car is 4 months old. Stay away from this dealer - you have been warned!

Terrible attitude and manner when trying to get a small warranty issue sorted. No assistance whatsoever and themselves advised a different dealer which speaks volumes. STEER CLEAR OF THIS DEALER!
