I purchased a used Vauxhall Astra GTC from the Parks East Kilbride branch and just 3 days later the tyre exploded on the motorway. When I called to report it to them they advised me it was "wear and tear" and it was nothing to do with them. Appalling customer service, it was lucky we didn't end up in a serious accident then it would have been a more serious claim! Then a couple of weeks later I could hear a high pitched noise coming from the back end of the car so I took it to a local garage to check out to be told the rear brake pads had seized and welded together and were literally just hanging on. I paid to have this fixed privatly given the severity of it. When I spoke to the garage to tell them of the further problems, they agreed to do a full health check on it. Which was carried out and nothing came back from it . Another few days had passed and yet another noise could be heard from the back end of the car, like a rattling/clunking noise. My confidence had completely gone in this car so I called the garage again and asked for our money back. They refused and told me it would need to go through trading standards etc. They're quick enough to take your money and sell you the car but as soon as something goes wrong its nothing to do with them. All in all, this car was not fit for purpose and certainly not road worthy.
Have dealt with Parks East Kilbride a few times through the Mobility scheme, and i have nothing good to say about this dealership. The telephone reception is awful, they never ring you back, staff can be rude, there administration is a joke, and finally the car valet service is a waste of time , if i was purchasing a car it would certainly not be from this mob.
Parks East Kilbride have caused me problems two years in a row and I will now never use them again. I recently had work done on my car elsewhere to replace a seat belt mount. I checked this mount quite literally the moment before I handed it over as I put the seats up and it was in perfect condition. I was shown a photo an hour later of a cracked unit and informed that the replacement bill would be £169. For a part that was in perfect working order at handover and which is available for less than £25 and which takes literally 5 mins to fit. I’m absolutely furious and am making a formal complaint which unfortunately I don’t have time for but absolutely must be done. Every time I have bought my car here I’ve had trouble. Every time my (male) partner has brought it, it has passed fine. It’s 2019 and this is totally unacceptable. Please avoid at all costs.

If you can get Parks East Kilbridge to answer the telephone then you are doing well. Expect to be kept waiting to get through to the correct department, who sometimes don't even answer when you call it is transferred. 1st year car service was booked online at a discounted price. When I arrived to collect my car I was given an invoice for £100 more and had to find and provide evidence of the discounted deal in my emails. Courtesy car is a Kia Picanto - even though my car is a 7 seater. I thought it was a joke when I they gave me the keys to the car. Other manufacturers offer like for like courtesy cars. Satnav update as at April 2019 is supposedly 2018 data, at a £25 fee and doesn't have the latest version of road data on it. When I questioned this, I was told this was all the information they had available. It doesn't include the main Edinburgh to Glasgow new roads or the Raith interchange both opened in spring 2017. Avoid at all costs.

Hung about for 90 minutes waiting on a salesperson to speak to but too busy for any sale to happen! Visited next day in hope of securing a new car but alas still too busy to sell me one. Gave up went to Coatbridge where we were treated like royalty and even got a car! Stephen Stevenson Top Guy would so NOT recommend Parks East Kilbridge but will try Coatbridge.

Bought today a Peugeot GTI from Parks East Kilbride. I came all the way from Cornwall to Scotland. (Well worth it)I got served by Keith and Kyle. Both absolutely professional and costumer orientated. What a pleasure. Thank you...Frank
Would like to thank nicola at Parks East Kilbride for her help with our new car id give 10 stars if i could customer service is amazing from application to getting car.
Misled iby Parks East Kilbride into buying an ex-rental car with the promise it wasn't one. Then they failed to send off the V5 of the traded-in car resulting in an £80 fine from DVLA. We even have a signed letter from them stating they would deal with the form. Called them dozens, litterally dozens of times plus emails and nothing apart from some cocky salesman telling us its our problem! I'm so happy we didn't buy a service plan and can quite simply say never again when it comes to Parks (Kia, East Kilbride)
we took delivery of a Citreon Cactus on Sat 17th March with 4 miles on it. Within 10 minutes the Engine Failure light came on and we returned to Parks for advice - none given . Told to take car home as no technician available to look at car. Service area refused to accept car and told us to go home . By time we reached the town cetre the car stopped working completly and left stranded at Civic centre (narrowly missing a car crash as no power) We finally got RAC to respond and with 13 miles now on clock we were told 4 faults found in engine. Parks were absolutely useless and communication stopped. reluctantly we were given a courtesy car to use over weekend. Turns out the wrong fuel had been put in car (by dealership) so whole engine is blown. We only got help once we contacted Motobility . Will never use this this dealership again and hope people heed our warning - they will sell you a vehicle with smiles and promises but once you take possession you are on your OWN. No apology offered by Parks as of today 22/3/18

@parksmotorgroup seem to be overcharging for some of their work. Quoted me £472 to supply and fit 4 glowplugs. They have said to me their quote was competitive . Clearly i disagree. Having sought a second opinion i was able to get the job done for £152..If you take into account the £102 diagnostic charge there is a £320 difference. Please seek a second opinion before asking Parks motor group to do your work. We were extremely loyal customers buying our last 5 cars from @parksmotorgroup as well as all our servicing was done as well. We will take all our business elsewhere in future..
