Car went in today 27/8/21 for squeaking noise from rear nearside wheel. I suspected brakes. 4 hours later at 11:44 received a video and text saying nearside rear wheel was sticking. Another 4 hours later I received a phone call telling me the same and I needed rear pads and discs immediately. They still couldn't tell me why it was sticking until they had taken the wheels off and investigated. 8 hours to put car on ramp and take handbrake off and turn wheels by hand! When I asked if they would change the pads and discs under warranty as they had replaced them 10 months earlier for the same reason, I was told no. Workshop manager told me he only expected brake pads and discs to last 12K -18K miles. Couldn't explain how the original pads and discs lasted 34K miles. Left without any work being done. Only good thing, they didn't charge me for keeping my car for 8 hours.
- Overcharged when buying a pre-registered car. Had to wait for a cheque in the post despite being asked for and providing my bank details. - The sale hadn’t been recorded properly and so DVLA were only advised and my V5 issued after chasing them 6 months after the sale. - Mis-sold a service package (it was supposed to be a Renault package, not a Parks package. Offered a refund after complaining and again provided bank details when asked only to be told two weeks later, when chased, that my cheque was as in the post.

I bought a new Dacia Sandero from Parks Motherwel last Nov 2017 it developed an oil leak on the rocker cover gasket.This happened early June 2018 it was booked for 15th june to be repaired but got a last minute phone call to postpone repair due to having no parts to do the Job.I keep getting told that the parts are not in,and they don,t no when they will get them in.My slabs where I park my car is covered in oil and ive to keep topping up the car with oil.This is probably the worst company ive ever had to deal with.Its a case Ive got This money why should I care.
I have been a customer of Parks for some 20 years, having bought some seven or eight cars in that time even though I now live in England. Outstanding services at sales point as well as after sales care. Andy Giles runs a true customer focused team across several sites.
Bought a car with my husband. The seller was a complete a - very rude, insulted me, angry and frustrated with his job. I made a complaint and nobody apologised to me. Bad sales team.
I had a great experience at Parks Motherwell, the car is excellent and they even gave me a bouquet of flowers.
Everything from the moment i walked in was absolutely spot on. There was a guy at the dealership called Alan Toner i think his name was, he was ideal for me and helped me through every step of the process. Thanks for all your help!!!!!!!!!!
